Ordered my battery on Monday and had received it by midday Tuesday. Also spoke to someone about which battery is best and had amazing help. Wouldn't order from anywhere else

Website seems to be dead, no results for a standard Hyundai i10.
Pity as Ive used several times before and they were good.

Said battery was dispatched, waited 7 days, emailed to chase delivery, no response, called, was said would get a call back, this never happened. I have wasted over a week (they did eventually refund, with no apology)

Due to faulty delivery practice, by the courier, the battery had spilt acid in the packaging. Damage was only seen when the battery was removed from its box & bag.
Once the company was aware the problem it was quickly sorted and I am happy with the result. I have used the BG in the past and will continue to use them again. The service was/is exelent.

This is an immediate review based on the service at purchase, I will update it when the battery is delivered and installed. I found the company online, It's website is straight forward, put your number plate in and pick a battery. There were two for my Astra but there was an instruction to choose a particular one if the car was "stop + start", Which I did. Seeing the revues on Trustpilot werent good but on another review site "reviews dot io" they were great! I rang them, they answered in about 30 seconds, it sounded busy, the guy was helpful, the price was great & in stock, so I ordered online. Within seconds I had an email and confirmation of order. I was told the price included VAT and next day delivery. I will update this review soon but I wonder if some reviews here are for the U.S. the battery guys. ? So 16/02/25 the battery came next day delivery as prommised, well packaged and the correct battery, fitting it in the next couple of days, not expecting a problem but will report back asap.
20/01/25 Battery fitted. Perfect size and fully charged, the difference in starting current was obvious. Fitted in an Astra J 2016, easy job though looks awkward at first, Youtube helped to show it wasn't really a problem. Very pleased with this company and doing it myself saved me a lot of money. Halfords wanted £276 fitted so I saved £144

They sent me the wrong battery after following the instructions on their website, however they dont pick up the phone, respond to emails or respond to contact via their online form. I had to raise a credit card chargeback.

Failed to deliver the battery on a Saturday (I paid a premium for a Saturday delivery). 4 phone calls and 2 emails No response to any of these communications

Seemed like a good service put your registration number in they send you the battery right?

Nope the wrong battery arrived Thursday so I emailed no reply , I filled out the contact form no reply so rang them midday on to be told "it was bank holiday yesterday what do I expect? "
When I explained they had sent the wrong battery I was directed to the returns section on the website I said but that won't refund my postage to you for the wrong product you sent.
"We will pay your postage" just send it back and we will refund the battery and you postage

Of course they didn't so I am £8.99 out of pocket no reply to email or contact form

Like a lot of reviews on here I placed an order and within an hour my order was cancelled with no explanation. No response when questioned why my order was cancelled. I should have read the reviews before wasting my time with these guys.

Ordered and paid for my battery at 10am with next day delivery. Had an email to confirm order. Received an email at 5pm on same day to say order has been refunded, no explanation given. Absolutely no customer service.

I have ordered a battery for my Suzuki Alto based on my car registration number plate. Unfortunately the battery I received is too big to fit in the space allocated for it in the boot.
I tried to contact the company three times already without getting any reply back from them. So now I am short of £60 and have a battery I cannot return. I will try to report them.

My wife's car battery suddenly died and after checking records it had a four year warranty , it was only 30 months old I called the company spoke to Dave I think. After a short conversation a replacement was in the post and received next day .THANKYOU ALL. Having purchased numerous battery's from them , I Can highly recommend them. A company that stands by its word, don't look anywhere else

I ordered the wrong battery for my car, completely my fault as I intended on ordering the auxiliary battery and instead ordered the main battery. The battery arrived promptly, I realised my mistake so contacted TheBatteryGuys who were really polite and friendly and explained the returns process. I returned the battery and was issued a refund immediately. I would (and have) recommend them.

Really poor customer service. Bought 3 batteries, the two leisure batteries arrived ok but the small generator starter battery was just shipped in its box and leaked. Sent an email had two chat conversations but nothing happened so I had to phone them. Not enough had leaked to be or concern was the reply - not the fact corrosive liquid escaped in transit and the batteries life could be shortened. I will use Tayna again in future - much better packing and service and hope there are no issues with the other purchases as it is pretty obvious once they have your money they don't care.

Needed a small part to complete a battery install, young lady, Leigh I think,very helpful and posted it to me FOC. Original battery order arrived on time.

Good battery for the price and quick delivery will use again

Ordered a battery on the 15th. Called on the 18th, they said the order was supposed to have shipped but they did not know where it was. Instantly offered a full refund or reshipment, which is their only saving grace.

Disappointed to say the least as it messed up my plans.

Advertises next day delivery with no disruption due to covid -19. Order placed before 3 pm on Monday, by 9am Wednesday a still no battery. Called and told it was dispatched but they needed to speak to Parcelforce and would call me back, they didn’t call me back but an hour later I get sent a tracking reference from Parcelforce, funny that!. The tracking ref shows it was only entered into their system after my call so telling me it was dispatched was rubbish. So it’s now Thursday and the tracking information has not changed and Parcelforce still do not have the parcel. Tried calling to cancel and no one is answering the phone now.

Terrible service, they are like credit card small print, advertise next day delivery and happy to take your money but don’t leave up to their promise. Ordered on Friday, Mon pm and I’m still waiting for it. I called them and Apparently an order on Friday after 3 don’t qualify for next day delivery, then why take extra money for next day delivery?!!!!
If you are in a rush, you are better off using someone reputable, don’t trust these guys.
