Money taken, order not fulfilled and no way of contacting
Website down, emails bouncing back, where's my order? Car seat ordered on 8/01 no dispatch and no way fo contacting. Please do not respond with your generic one about the sit being down, this is totally unacceptable! It's impossible for this to be a reason not to dispatch.

Taken £500 and disappeared
Ordered over £500 worth of goods for our new baby (on 26th December!), was all due to be delivered before 17th jan, but now the company seems to have disappeared. The customer care email no longer exists as the domain and website are no longer valid!
How is it possible to chase or get a refund with no telephone number, email or other contact info ??!

Still waiting for my order and the website has been taken down?!
I am still waiting for my order that has been already paid for and was well over a 1k!
The delivery was delayed but nobody informed me, I had to chase after them and they said there was an issue at the warehouse and it was going to be despatch this week. Still no news and now the website is down and there is no way for me to get in touch or ask for a refund.
I am very disappointed and I am now trying to figure out how to get my money back.

I ordered unfortunately it’s fraud!
OI ordered unfortunately, I accidentally paid fully through my debit card when I went and back and forth on the payment screens to read terms. I was going to use Karala. I tried to cancel instantly so that I could go back re order the uppababy rumble seat in denny red. ‘Chloe’ sent me an email after 7-8 days stating that it’s cancelled and wait for 3-5 days for refund. It’s not a lot Money but you are left with a sour feeling of fraud. I lost 188 pounds. Banks is working through this. I am certain this is a fraud case. Their assets went up between 2019 and 2018 without liabilities increasing in their abridged accounts may be a cash injection who knows. What troubles me is their explanation on refunds. They can issue refunds through their bank accounts surely that has nothing to do with domain.. and website. We know their bank accounts have received the cash....AH

So my story is like everyone else. We ordered a pushchair for our unborn child. As a parent you want certain things done and not worry about it after the birth. This company was very happy to take our money knowingly that it had dissolved month before. So after researching it, just like everyone else we had realised what people were saying was true. So we emailed them and they replied that they were still waiting from their supplier for the goods. Again we emailed them 2 days later and email bounced back. My wife who is heavily pregnant couldn't believe it and ended up in tears. Told her not to worry I'll called AMEX and explained the situation and without any questions being asked they refunded me. They said that they will investigate this company. So we started to look around again for pushchairs this time I suggested we go to a well know company to my wife. 2 days had passed and without any notification or email we get a knock on our door.... DPD with our pushchair from the babyroom. We couldn't believe it. This company preys on parents to be. I know this as most of us are physically and emotionally drained as it's very normal . But this is unacceptable, this company need to be taken down for ever. I will inform everyone I know to avoid this company. My advise is speak to you bank they should sort it out. Hopefully everything works out for everyone in here who have endured this horrendous experience.

Unfortunately, like many of the reviews on here - ordered on 1st Jan. Delivery date passed - no contact. Then Chloe said the package would arrive w/c 13th, but still nothing - emailed you cancel as it’s now too late but email bounced back.... I’d say I’m fortunate as I used Klarna, so haven’t paid yet....
Pretty poor show - especially those who were relying on them, took their money at a time people are most strapped for cash and left them in the lurch.

SCAM!!!! Purchased a footmuff at the end od December, being delivered on the 6th of January. Chase the company many many times, never received anything. Now their website has vanished completely and the email doesn't work anymore.

Ive ordre a puschair on the 1 of…
Ive ordre a puschair on the 1 of january and never got it . I was meant to receive a refund by this monday but nothing and so the site was shut down . I've reported the transaction and get a refund from my bank NW. Luckily I've found " the Bournemouth baby centre "and received it the next working day.

I can’t believe all the recent reviews. I ordered a car seat and cover mid December and was not delivered so I cancelled and fortunately on that occasion got my money back. I then ordered 2 car seat protectors as I couldn’t find them any cheaper on the 17th December. Emailed on 13th January to say I was cancelling as their customer service was shocking and had a reply saying border cancelled and refund would be with me 5-7 w/d. Still no refund :( so glad it wasn’t for a lot feel bad for everyone who has potentially lost a lot of money.

Same here I ordered on the 29th of Dec. Followed it up and someone called Chloe said they were expecting my order on the week 13th and as soon as they recieved it they will be sending it out. Followed it up again and website down, no answer to calls and emails bounce back 😳 Lucky I had spend less the £60.

Same as everyone else, ordered on Jan 3rd, was told my order would arrive by 13th, it’s now the 21st and emails are bouncing back and the website is down. If it were just a case of a domain name issue (as per someone’s comment below), why hasn’t anyone received their orders? I feel so bad for the people that I’ve spent hundreds of pounds, I hope you all get your money back.

We ordered a set of bunk beds at over £1200 but changed our mind the next day. Was sent a confirmation email stating we would be refunded the same day... that was back in November!!! Handed over to the bank to chase them. Do not order anything from them... you have been warned!!!

scammed like everyone else
Like everyone else, I ordered at the beginning of the year. The dispatch date came and went. Contacted customer services and was initially told it would be dispatched the following week. However now the customer care email, website and number are dead. I've put in a claim with Santander credit cards but it will take up to 40 days, by which point baby will be born and no buggy!
Having just received a reply from my original post stating that the website is down in error and the company is still running, perhaps The Baby Room could post contact details for them then? I was supposed to receive my order 2 weeks ago, then last week and still haven't received it so I'm not filled with confidence at the moment.
