Frank was great, earlier than expected and rang me to let me know that he was on his way. Brought both appliances into the kitchen for me. Very polite and friendly

Purchased a Smeg range cooker and a Bosch American style fridge freezer from them.
The cooker was discounted to a good price considering the very minor damage to the enamel paint that was easily repaired.
The fridge freezer was basically brand new an unmarked in its full from factory packaging, and after the discount offer they had running it was a good price.
After installing the fridge freezer and waiting 24hr before turning it on, it was quickly identified as faulty (after 4hrs the fridge was minus 4 and no matter what you did it sat at this temp). After contacting TAD with this issue the fridge freezer was very quickly replaced with the same model etc.
This was a hassle but you could get just the same when buying from Currys etc.

My experience was straight forward. The carrier from Annan in Scotland was a very nice guy and he was helpful too.
It is worth mentioning however, that although the transport of my item went without any hitch, it does add substantially to the cost of the item.
This obviously adds to the original cost and detracts from the saving made in buying from the ‘depot’
Consideration must also take into account, the fact that you have to deal with the disposal of the old item and the unpacking on the doorstep of the new ! If you live alone like me, this too detracts from the saving made !
However, all in all, I am happy with the item and I did save a little

Excellent seamless service. And Frank the delivery driver was a gentleman. He brought the washing machine to the back of the house and got it to the kitchen with ease.
5 star service all round including communication.

The way Ben handled his big lutton van, driving and reversing his big lutton like it was a Mini.
Only to relise it was wrong address.
Wow he got out he was so upset about being late, but luckily my happy personality rub of onto him and suggested a name change to Frank as in Frank Spencer to us oldies.
As he acts and looks exactly like Frank.

Everything went to plan with good communication from Frank who delivered the appliance.

Frank did an excellent job navigating our new oven through our gate, up some steps and into our home all by himself! Very friendly

The Appliance Depot are an amazing company, they go the extra mile for customers where they can.

Ordered £4k worth of product and realised once it arrived that it was covered in odd dents. Thankfully, nothing that could be seen post-install and therefore I ignored; however, the fridge freezer was missing all the parts.

I couldnt get the kitchen installed before Christmas, so I had to wait 6 weeks, which surpasses their T&C's of 2 days for reporting missing items. When I called them for help, I was reminded of this and told to sort it myself with the manufactuer.

I did. Which cost me more money, and although not much, was a real inconvenience and extremely poor display of customer service. I recommended friends to TAD, one of whom placed an order.

Despite what the T&C's say, the unit was bought and paid for with TAD and never unboxed. It could not be installed on time and has created an incredible amount of hassle. For that reason, I find it crazy that common sense did not prevail and they did not help me.

So, fair warning to all those reading this, the units are not factory boxes, heavily damaged, and like mine, missing entire installation parts. In hindsight, I did not save money ordering from them, and since I'm here, images attached of the minor damage to the unit, given its lack of original boxed protection.
