Rude staff at the security check point.. an Asian woman at the security point saw me taking a selfie, she was going through my photos (and phone) saying I took videos and I should delete it. I told this silly girl I don’t have videos on my phone and she insisted saying I did have them, she became rude and mannerless when she found nothing.. she should go do a training on how to approach a customer👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

We booked to go to the shard for afternoon tea

We was taken to the lounge area as we were a little early so we was happy to have a drink.

It was very hot in the shard no air.
Our table was booked for 3-15 got to the table 3-30
The lady took us over and said you have a beautiful table all done for you we thought great how kind

When we went over to our table near the window
we was put on a very very low table and very small chairs it was a disaster my husband is 6 foot tall it was so low he was leaning over all the time eating his food he suffers with a back injury so the afternoon tea for him was a struggle to sit and eat.

We sat at the table one chipped plate my husband told them they got another plate with out the theme on it a white plain plate the afternoon tea was about the theme and the enjoyment the table was so so small

Plates, cups, was pushed together table far to small and very very low no where to put your coats so mine went on the floor which I thought was really bad

We ordered hot chocolate and a coffee these did not come we had to ask for the drinks after quite a wait

The afternoon tea came it was so very hot in the shard
no air very hot this worried me due to covid

The afternoon tea was very disorganised no variety of cakes to choose from 2 of same of everything,

It was totally a complete let down this was a gift for my husband there was not that much to choose from it was all the same for cakes not a mixture it was an awful afternoon.

What I paid was certainly not worth the money.

I would not recommend afternoon tea at the shard

I went there with intention to buy gifts for afternoon tea as Christmas gifts

The Shard should offer people back if they do not do afternoon tea properly for people who pay the reviews are quite bad really

After taking 2 payments and sending many emails and not delivering on a promise of a refund of £89. We are left out of pocket. Be careful where you spend your cash

Fantastic views, good atmosphere. The selection of ice creams was poor, as was the service of the person selling them. I emailed them about a separate issue, almost three weeks later I've had no reply.

The queues were excessive an hour and a half. View was fine but prices excessive for drinks (more queues) not an experience I'd be in a hurry to repeat.

Overpriced but still amazing quality and experience, the food is amazing 🥳

Absolute ripoff! ….We booked a deluxe experience for £150….. All we got was digital photos with an ultra fake looking green screen not with the view/ really bad quality (not even a physical one), drinks and shoved in a bar like cattle with nowhere to sit and bar staff weren’t engaging whatsoever - NEVER AGAIN AND PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I love the audacity of this place. A building that reshaped the skyline of London.

Always stay here when in London. Every aspect is second to none. Top service all the time. Cant fault one bit.

Amazing experience. Little expensive.

After their personal been rude and take a laugh on you, they will investigate and put the fault on yourself , saying you was abusive just because you told them to check the laws before they talk. Absolutely awful, alot of racism and they absolutely liars!

Good food, friendly and helpful staff and of course amazing views. Book your tickets online for a cheaper deal.

Absolutely rubbish. The most awful hotel I’ve ever been to. Booked it for my birthday. Nothing complimentary. I understand it’s covid not even a bottle of Prosecco. They said breakfast was included never said to eat in room was a charge took extra 52 pounds of my account for eating breakfast in the room haha what fools. Had a few drinks from the bar my god!! Never told me there was charge told them had a few drinks nothing was chucked in complimentary knowing it’s my bloody birthday. Ladies couldn’t even speak English. The customer service was appalling disgusted and outrageous. Wanted the tub next to the bloody view no that didn’t happen either. Never will go back again

Hated everything about this afternoon tea experience. They made you wait forever and no one came to explain. They give you dirty looks if you don't order from their bar whilst you wait. The lady who takes you to your seats doesn't even say anything to you whilst you walk or seat you, so found this super rude and unwelcoming. No one explained how it worked as me and my husband had never been before. When they did they were super rude about it and talked down to us like children. None stop dirty looks the whole time we were their. The cups were dirty when they came out, my husband tea was completely different to mine even though we ordered the same thing. Got offered champagne but instead wanted soft drinks. But didnt even get to choose as he picked himself and they were disgusting. The food was disgusting and not worth the trip. Before leaving i started to feel very unwell. And spend the whole trip home feeling physically sick with an upset stomach the rest of the night. Beautiful view but that is literally all going for this place

If i could give this minus rating then i would -10 for the whole experience. Didn't appreciate being treated the way we did or the upset stomach on the train ride home. Worse day and experience every.

Not worth the money, dont waste your time

Excellent although I'm not a fan of heights but the staff on the top floor where great friendly and made the trip worth while

I loved the sky tower and really enjoyed the coffee house on the top floor. Wonderful experience and one I will cherish

When placing the order we were asked if we have special notes or requirements and I left a note saying that this is our wedding anniversary dinner. Sadly they don’t read the notes, when we received our desserts there was nothing mentioned, it would be a nice touch to write something on a plate, just to make the dinner special,like other places do, but nobody read the note upon reservation, so it was a bit disappointing, as the expectations from this kind of place were high.
Another thing, our drinks arrived after the starter, we could see our drinks at the bar for 10-15 min and nobody bothered to bring them to us, our waitress was busy and a bit of team work could help, but the waiters were just ignoring our drinks, probably because it was not their section, not sure though.
The overall experience is nothing special apart from the views. The views are spectacular, of course, this is why we chose this place for our occasion, sadly it was forgotten by the team.
Giving this place 3 stars for lack of attention and team work. The lamb was great by the way.

We went to the Aqua Shard for our anniversary and we always have good service there. But to make it better Sadia made it 100x better. She was so upbeat and even gave us an extra dessert for the occasion. Truly recommend.
