A long (15 minute) check-in as the same counters seems to be used for everything except drinks - information, redeeming vouchers from the arcade. Then a long wait at the bar, with a 10 to 12 metre queue and one person serving. This doubled to two people later and eased the situation.
This isn't a staff shortage - there were plenty of people milling around not serving customers. Yes there are other jobs, but serve the customers first. There were never more than two people on check in nor two people serving on the bar but I counted seven people behind the counter at one point. Admittedly this is better than the 11 people behind the bar with one person serving that I saw at a previous visit but it isn't good enough.

Had a good afternoon at the Parrs Wood…
Had a good afternoon at the Parrs Wood centre, I was happy that the half price Tuesday offer was on although, I was a little unsure as some schools were still on half term and some were not. The bowling alley was calmer than usual and we played our two games without any issues.
After bowling we played some pool and used the arcade.
Overall good activity on an unpredictable weather day.
Half price should be the regular price, the place would be full all the time.

Food was cold sent back fresh chips but burger cold waited 15 minutes for lane to be turned on queued 4 times to ask for help no one did place was very unclean tables and bowling area

We had a wonderful afternoon on a Saturday recently bowling and playing with all the arcade games. One of the key positives were the staff behind the bar and info point who were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The only downside was the food we had which was cold and very sad looking (nachos and hot dogs). Highly recommend for a fun few hours out with the family or alone.

Booked Laser Tag for a party for my 8…
Booked Laser Tag for a party for my 8 year old son. Had no comms from Ten Pin prior apart from a confirmation text. We got there and the party really enjoyed Laser Tag. Afterwards, we had to keep chasing the staff for any idea of when food was coming or when they'd do the cake. They seemed really busy. When they came they were helpful, but it felt like they'd just forgot we were coming, the whole thing was a bit disorganised. We complained at the time and got a free bowling voucher, but I'd say if you're booking this, you probably need to be more active in following up with them, because I just assumed everything would be sorted when we got there. Overall the party itself was good, but the service needs to be better hence 3 stars

Great vibes overall
Great vibes overall. It was our first time there. We played a few games of bowling and pool, then sat down at a table and ordered food and drinks using the NFC tag.
After waiting over 30 minutes, we realised something wasn’t right as there didn’t seem to be anyone serving. We spoke to a staff member, and after about 45 minutes in total, the manager came over to explain that three staff members had called in sick, leaving them without kitchen or bar staff.
We weren’t happy with the situation, mainly because there was no sign or announcement to let customers know about the delay or lack of service and all the food places in the area would've already been closed.
That said, we do appreciate that they refunded our money and still gave us the drinks we ordered. I’d be willing to give them a second chance, as I’ll likely visit again, and I’ll update my review then :)

Remember to ask when do they need the food sent out to the lanes as we booked 2 lanes for 2 games of bowls for 4:30pmamd the food got sent out at 5pm and it was luke warm .. too early into the game and it was puke warm not nice.

Birthday bowling
There was a young lady Katie, who made it her business for us to have the best time from the moment we walked in to the moment we left!! I visited for my sons birthday with his friend and mum and Katie helped set up our bowling lane showing us how to put the barriers up if needed, we then went to lazer tag. Our sons are only 7&8 and wanted to do teams against us mums, katie knew it was all our first times trying lazer tag and could see the boys needed help, next thing she had a vest and a gun and was running around on the boys team the laughter of the boys makes it all worth the money! The only gripe I had was the pizza, it wasn't the best so next time I probably won't do the bowling pizza deal.
