Had a good time, but could be cleaner
4 of us went bowling to Tenpin and we had a good time, but with one issue.
The good:
- on arrival we were first told we will have to wait longer than expected for our lane. However, another member of the staff found a free lane, so in the end we were actually able to start quicker than planned
- there were no technical glitches with the lane and everything worked as it should
- drink ordering online was convenient and our drinks arrived relatively quickly
The bad:
- when we arrived, the table in our lane was absolutely filthy. It was full of old glasses, and the table itself was sticky from spilled drinks. We played 2 games and no-one at any point came to clean it up, even though they brought our drinks and saw the state of it (there was barely any space to put our drinks on). Perhaps we could have chased the staff and asked them to clean it, but I don't think we should have to do it.
Overall, we enjoyed the game, but the cleanliness levels spoiled our experience a bit.

Great party
Great party, very smooth . Helpful staff. Balloons were a great hit with the kids.
The only thing was - two pizza slises seemed too little.

We had 2 lanes for 3 games for our son’s birthday at a cost of £240 & one kept breaking, balls where getting jammed, the rails wouldn’t go up for those that had requested it then one side just stayed up for the rest of the time we was there, such a shame, that & no air con on a very hot day meant we’d definitely doing better research before booking this type of entertainment in the future

We had so much fun on the karaoke
We had so much fun on the karaoke, and the arcades ,the only down side would be if the karaoke could be videoed or had a thing where you could have your photo taken, but other than that we had a brilliant time and are planning on doing it again alongside the bowling

Great spot for fun! Tenpin is an amazing place for entertaining friends and family. The food and drink prices are absolutely perfect and very wallet-friendly.

No staff around to help ended up…
No staff around to help ended up waiting for long periods of time to sort issues with bowling lane and getting drinks. Food was very small and inconsistent serving size and quality low. One of the most annoying parts of the visit was that we had a group of 6 and there isn’t enough space on the tiny half table and seating for everyone so we were using the empty lane table joined to ours. A staff member appeared and poured away drinks and took glasses that were full and when we asked for our drinks back she said ‘it’s not on your lane so I can clear them’ probably £20 worth of drinks and some of our food taken too.

The game area is a disaster, e.g.you are trying to play snooker, balls missing, getting stuck, not easy to get someone to help you. I had not been there for years, it will take a long time to go ahain i think.

No air-conditioning
We went on a very warm day, they do not have air-conditioning! Bumpers were either stuck up or down, not helpful when for a family of different abilities! Not enough staff!

Very Disappointing
Extremely hot! No air con at all. Waited 30mins for our drinks. Short staffed so when we had issues with the balls getting stuck no one could help. On several occasions the balls were not cleared so when they rolled back it marked that go as complete so we missed turns. We set barriers up for two players but both all others but then the barriers remained up all the time! Very disappointing over all. Doubt we will visit again.

Easy to book
Easy to book, a bit expensive but I'm used to Northern prices. Drinks and food app worked OK weird thing I couldn't get it to work on my phone while using their free wifi, went onto my own wifi no problem. Kids loved the place that's the main thing

Monday deal issues
The kids pizza for the Monday deal was not very good - dry and small.
The service was good and the attendants friendly but the booking process was very confusing.

They were very short staffed it took…
They were very short staffed it took nearly an hour to get our drinks and food. We had finished our game of bowling before we got any drinks. The food was terrible very over cooked and tasted disgusting

Staff were really nice, facilities could do with some work
Staff were all really nice but the facilities could do with some improvement.
We played pool and unfortunately most of the tables didn't have enough of the right balls available. Also a couple of the tables took our money but didn't dispense the balls. Again staff were friendly and accommodating once we notified them but it would be nice if these machines worked as intended.
Bowling was fun but our lane broke mid game. Again staff quickly rectified this but also again not ideal
