James from Symonds and Sampson in Beaminster deserves a mention. Friendly, efficient and excellent communication throughout the selling process. Made a difficult task of selling on behalf of someone else a less stressful experience.

We sold our home with the team in the Dorchester office, from the initial phone call to book a valuation to the final completion day they where always on hand to respond to any inquires from our purchasers, and acted with professionalism to ensure the sale completed in a normal time scales.

I'd like to express thanks for the support from Cathryn, Levi and Mae (and others) for the Symonds and Sampson tenant find service during July 2026. This is my second use of this service from the team in Blandford Forum (with support from S&S in Sturminster Newton). The service functions like a well oiled machine - with a kind, responsive and professional energy. It's clear everyone works hard and together to make things happen. There was a lot to do. I was reassured that everything was in hand at every stage - and indeed it was. Thank you very much.

No service. Simply no service or access to any. This company constantly hides behind internet loops and arrogant staff in order to achieve nothing other than dissatisfied customers en mass.
AVOID ANY INTERACTION WITH THIS COMPANY!
We are at the end of our tether with this bunch after a list of problems and issues longer than both of our arms...

Having instructed Symonds Sampson to handle the sale of our property we were pleased from the start with the marketing, having a large number of viewings and feedback .
After an initial viewing handled by Sarah Cornish-Dale who suggested a second viewing by potential buyer if more information was required,we were pleased that a second viewing was indeed successful with negotiations of offer handled by Stephen.
Daniel Magee handled the initial instruction along with Julia Baker.
Had regular contact with Tara Grinter and had other interactions with their team,Penny Blackman,Gwen Holdcroft, Caroline Childs-Chaffey,Isabella Rumsby and James Lamb.

I used Symonds & Sampson for 11 years when I rented out a bungalow. The service was par excellence in all respects. When I came to sell the property, the service was once again quite exceptional and Will Tremlett responded efficiently and promptly whenever I needed his assistance. Thoroughly recommended.

Although Symonds and Sampson were the agents for the vendor we found them to be super helpful to us too. Our own sale was long and arduous but they kept faith with us, bringing the process to a satisfactory conclusion. Caroline went out of her way to assist with a documentation issue which was really appreciated at the time. A lovely gift was provided when we were finally able to collect the keys. We would recommend their services for the kindness and professionalism shown.

What a thoroughly professional Agent! I had the pleasure to deal with Annie, she was extremely personable yet highly efficient and very professional at all times.. Due to this, the whole experience proceeded smoothly and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with her throughout.

Nothing was ever too much trouble and she guided me through the lease process displaying both patience and kindness throughout.

I had heard from others in the past that Symonds and Sampson are an excellent company to deal with and now having dealt with them personally - I would 100% agree.

The team at Symonds and Sampson were excellent throughout our recent house purchase. They were consistently professional, helpful and communicative. They helped us navigate through some tricky situations, particularly as our own solicitor was often the cause of those situations! We’re not in any hurry to repeat the house move experience, but S and S would be the people that we would want to engage when that happens.
