Love stuff I get mostly Italian, tuna, mix max, toffee licorice omg, blood orange juice , Italian soda chinotto omg plasmon only Italian mothers know about that , any way 4 stars because I bought three boxes of cannolis and spent $300 on other stuff and the cannolis was still and I had to throw them out and all the ricotta and chocolate chips fresh lemon zest from organic lemons all in the garbage cuz they were stale they tasted like paper but it's okay I'll still get stuff from the stores probably just the mistake whatever but I should get my money back for those but I don't know whatever's I'm just grateful I could get stuff like that sent down here to Florida because I like smarter options of food rather than garbage Doritos and government junk food that they try to feed us poison fake color only real color should be in this country or any country

I have ordered a few times in past, I did have issues with Crastan effervescente 8.5 oz glass bottles x 6 where the lids were loose which made the product not fizz ,just flat in water.they did nothing to correct the issue. Recently on the fourth of July 2024 I get a message from supermarket Italy ,stating a site wide sale of 15% off,so I went to order about $100 worth of items, their site never discounted anything, and on top of that it offered me free shipping ,due to my order baing over $85 ,but the shipping never came off at checkout either! So next day I tried calling them on their number posted,all I got was this number is disconnected!! Great! So I sent an email to them, couple days later,they replied stating just go ahead and put order in,and we will discount manually,so I reluctantly paid the order, and guess what? Nobody did anything to remove the overcharges! So I sent another email , next day they respond, saying to me,we have many issues with our site, we are aware of this! If you order again we will make sure you get the discount. Today July 9th I get another message from supermarket Italy,saint order today free shipping! And yes you guessed it they failed miserably again. I then emailed them to ask them to do what they promised,and they responded with, if you spend over $100.00 today we will. So I want everyone to know supermarket Italy cannot be trusted whatsoever, your only going to get outdated defective product,and a bunch of lies from them. I'm so done with giving this place chance after chance of making things right ,when all they serve is disappointment!! Take care..

I recently received my order. The products were exactly as advertised. I was very pleased with everything.every product was carefully wrapped and packed . I will certainly order again

I ordered a lemon juice and they offered me a discount, they charged me and never gave a discount. I sent them a email asking why didn't give a discount, few day later they canceled my order. they said to me that I canceled my order, I never did that. This company is not a serious supermarket. They lie to you and my experience with them was horrible.

I have placed a couple larger orders with supermarketitaly and have been very pleased with how the order was fulfilled. All the products have been high quality and it has been consistent with what I thought I was purchasing. The packing job is outstanding and I like the product selection. I used trustpilot to figure out if they're legit and felt like I should come back on here to say I had a positive experience. No returns or disputes, so can speak to the resolution process, but overall very excited to have found this source. There are some products here that are difficult or impossible to get elsewhere.

They are super expensive and when something is on sale it means that it is almost expired.
Basically a bunch of crooks who claim they sell Italian quality products

Excellent experience! Ordered some German rye bread packages on Thursday, delivered on Monday to our porch in TX. Very well packaged and got exactly what we ordered. Compared to the W.....t big retail chain store which cancelled my order after a week or so without giving me any reason it was a much better deal and overall experience. Thank you very much! Will be buying here in the future again!

My experience with Supermarket Italy was very good, I'm sorry for the bad experiences, but I never had problems with them, the food is very fresh and of very high quality. I will continue to be a loyal customer of this place.

I ordered green peppercorns, Jared, it's been a week, nothing! I am pretty sure I got ripped off, stick to other sites. This one sucks!!

I have Celiac Disease. I ordered a GF item to prepare for Christmas dinner, I also ordered an item that is readily available near me (sun dried tomatoes).

But I figured for the expensive shipping price, why not kill two birds with one stone.
VERY close to Christmas, I received an email saying, the pasta item is out of stock, (of course, they had charged my bank account already!), but the sun dried tomatoes are enroute!

That, of course, was a lie, because when they were finally shipped, the shipping date was available to view. I called extensively in plenty of time to cancel the order.
No one would answer my calls, or reply to various emails, or requests to chat!
So I ended up paying $29.15 for a very small jar of sun dried tomatoes, which I could've purchased for around $3.00-$4.00 in total!!

Never again, I truly, truly wish I had read the plethora of bad reviews before I ordered...but in my defense, I was so happy to find an item that I was having such a problem locating! PS, I am STILL waiting on the sun-dried tomatoes, Christmas is over!!
IT'S A TOTAL SCAM, PEOPLE!!

I was a permanent customer. Last order they advertised a $50 gift card with the purchase and never received it. I also ordered chocolate on sale and it had a bad taste, black chocolate white colored outside. And actually I waisted around $80
On top of that I texted them and nobody does anything

The company sent products which were 1/3 of the advertised size. Their customer service is abhorrent and I would recommend dealing with any other company but them. I have now engaged in more than 14 emails with them in an attempt to get a refund and returned the other items. They have yet to issue the refund and have just gone around in circles with their BS. There are a lot of companies out there that sell excellent products imported from italy. Supermarket Italy is not one of them they are a scam and to lie to you about their customer service promises as well as sizes of their products. If you buy from them, good luck getting a refund because I haven't had any success thus far.

The first time I ordered from the.......they screwed it up. The customer support person(Chantelle) is incompetent and lied about what really happened. They tried blaming FedEx but the order never even left their facility. They printed a FedEx label but never even shipped it out. Ttwo weeks later.......still no coppa. Also lied about shipping replacement and details.

no communication AT ALL, tried to call, tried to chat, waiting on my order for 10 days, will stop payment with my bank and never order from them again, I will stick YUMMY

Writing this review because there are so many bad reviews here. My experience has been nothing but spectacular. Great service all around, sure the 10% first order discount doesn't work when you buy multiples with discount, but they were able to apply it offline after I placed the order. Great communication (1 item out of 25 was out of stock and they offered a replacement or wait 5 days for it be replenished, or a refund). Shipped within 1 day. Arrived within 1 day. Very very well packed. We are happy and will certainly order again.
