I was introduced to Mark Allder at Succession Wealth 9 years ago. Having worked for a company for 39 years, I was exploring the opportunity of taking my company pension value and investing it in a SIPP.

My initial meeting with Mark showed all of the ins and outs of this type of investment, the risks, the potential growth and all other aspects. I was convinced by past demonstrated performances although, as they always say, past performance is no guarantee of future performance. I decided that the risk level that I was happy to take, would give me an income that would be suitable for my requirements.

I therefore became a client and my pension value was transferred. I had an initial start value of XXX and over the past 9 years, have experienced some dips due to world events and have also enjoyed some growth.

Today, as I write this review, my value is (within a few pounds) the same as when I became Mark's client 9 years ago! So, over the past 9 years, my wife and I have been travelling the world and enjoying retirement and still have the same amount invested. There have been a few “ooerr” moments and I have called Mark from time to time and he has always been 100% supportive, given good advice and helped us to keep focussed on the long term goal. The support, if required, is always there and my wife and I look forward to continuing our retirement and more travelling.

Thoroughly disgusted. I thought I had some kind of rapport with the adviser, but this year he told me in January that " some of your tax free pension would need to be used to cover the two months leading up to your state pension". At no point until 1st April, did this adviser send me anything to sign, and despite email, phone call and even a whatsapp message, all went unanswered until he contacted me two weeks before 1st April, told me I had to sign this electronically immediately or the funds would not be available in time.
They weren't. I had £200 sent on 1st, which left me short in paying monthly bills, then today, I was supposed to have £700 to cover the rest of the month. When it didn't arrive overnight as it usually does, I fired him off an email, only to have the reply that he is 'out of office' till 13th!
I'm just putting this out here- that man carefully planned this for 1st April. He could have done right, but went absent till it was too late. I will now be removing remaining funds away from Succession Wealth asap.

A genuinely amazing service.

I had a friend refer me to this company after she had an excellent service with her pensions. My advisor was Caroline Brewster the same lady that helped my friend. I was finding it hard to find and manage my many pensions I have had over the years. Caroline was incredibly good at explaining things in such a way I could understand and follow exactly what to do. Her knowledge and support made my journey to taking part of my pension pot for a deposit on a house so easy. I couldn’t recommend this company more and especially Caroline Brewster for all her help and advice she gave me.

My wife and I have enjoyed the expertise and advice of Succession Financial Advisor Nick Yates for more than 15 years. Throughout these years Nick has been extremely informative and has always given (in our opinion) excellent advice.

He has helped with retirement plans, house moves, capital expenditures, ISA’s, removing funds from a company pension to a private SIPP and many other areas of money management too.

In addition to Nick’s help, we also find the back office support extremely good. In particular we find the platform services a great asset in Succession’s offering.

I'm so very happy with this company! I've just taken out a remortgage (no existing mortgage) via Succession with my advisor Alex Brown. I only started the process with them on 1st December 2025 and today I received the funds! I'm rather taken aback at how wonderfully fast this has all been.
Alex has been wonderful throughout the process and even though we never met in person (our interactions were by phone and email) I felt I had my hand held just to the right amount to get me through the paperwork and the options.

Succession wealth are an absolute joke. After my father died it took them over 12 months to transfer the pension to my mother. They blamed everyone else along the way and yet they were almost always the ones at fault. Communication has been terrible and the level of incompetence truly outstanding. During what has been a very difficult time in our lives, Succession have made it even more difficult. I'm not sure we're allowed to name specific people on here, but if anyone needs names and details I'm happy to provide them.
