Absolute garbage

We basically no longer use the app to watch anything. It doesn’t continue where you left off. If you try to return to where you were - queue 12 mins of adverts.

If we don’t record stv from live tv - we just don’t bother at all.

Shame!

Ive paid the subscription on my iPad, but the firestick and my tv stv apps are completely different, when I log into each one they are all different, and don't show what I've watched on my iPad, they don't even have some of the shows I've watched on my iPad

I was half way through watching a drama called Exile with John Simm the after one episode it froze and I’m now unable to see the rest it’s nothing to do with the internet. On the app now instead of programs rating 1 to 10 I only have 1 and 4

When did STV become worse than the biased bbc? I don't watch bbc because I disaprove of their brainwashing propoganda, but I do try to catch up on Scottish news on the stv player, however if it isn't Colin Mackay deriding the first minister, it's reporters lambasting other SNP politicans on what they percieve to be their failings. I'm sick of it guess I'll just have to watch Sky new for world events.

MINUS stars are not possible and neither is NO star, which is the maximum they deserve.
(Why are there no thunderclouds ⛈ or angry faces 🤬included in the grading scale?)
They take monthly payments from me and say it is not them.
The only company fitting the bank information is them!

I would give it no stars if possible. This is such an awful resource. Why can viewers in Scotland not access the better ITV X instead?

had a terrible experience with customer service at this company. Money was unexpectedly withdrawn from my account, and when I contacted customer support for clarification, they struggled to locate my account. After I mentioned involving my bank, they finally acknowledged the issue and claimed I had signed up for a free trial, which I did not.

When I requested a cancellation and refund, they refused, even after I insisted that I never wanted the membership. So I told the company I would go to my bank and ask for them to interview and their response was unprofessional, simply stating they would wait to hear from my bank.

Overall, this company has poor selection and awful customer service,Other streaming platforms, like Netflix and Amazon Prime, have refunded me without issue in similar situations. I strongly advise avoiding this company.

STV are NOT a Scottish TV company. I dont watch state broadcaster bbc but to come home and switch on for the STV News and find yet again that I am supposed to endure Spain v England womens football live. No chance. All 'Scottish' programs cancelled. I wrote to STV on a similar previous experience and received a simple replay stating they were consticted by the ITV network and have to show all England games in Scotland. What garbage this channel is.

Have used in the past no problem. Now asked to log in then tells me my details are incorrect.
No other TV app asks me to do that.
Awful.

Judging by literally all the reviews on this page STV do not give a damn about the poor service they are providing.
I can only echo everyone else, the quality is appalling in every way possible. If I could watch Brookside anywhere else I'd never open the app again.

If you’re here reading this then you’ll already know this app just does not work. Like me you are likely angry and frustrated. Try this: just remove it and if you can try ITVx.

Absolutely shocking can't watch a couple of series Grace for example shows the adverts then goes to the start freezes and then reboots my tv. Just giving up on it.😡
A few weeks ago it was reporting i was outwith the Scottish region so couldn't watch a programme. I wish I could watch ITVX instead.

Cbb not uploading latest episodes which is infuriating but they are uploaded on itv x ! The brookside thing is one thing that really could throw me into an actual tantrum, sometimes people want to bing watch, this is a show that's 30 years old. To release 3-5 episodes a week is beyond annoying ! And actually I'm baffled to figure out what is gained from this !? What actually happens is people get fed up and do t watch anymore !! That's actually what you accomplish. People going elsewhere to watch what they want to watch, when something is able to be downloaded,bought on dvd or streamed elsewhere you are actually damaging yourself with limiting episode releases ! Then on top of that ,latest episodes of popular shows are delayed being streamed ,but other platforms manage to stream them ! The app is annoying and actually I'm a sandwich from a picnic ready to delete the entire app because it's so frustrating

Abominably poor performance from this app recently when before it was working well. Amazingly it always loads the ads before the start of programme and in the breaks (wonder why - maybe cash related). Have now no way of seeing last episode of 'Vera' and last series of 'Grace'. Most frustrating !!!

stv app is a pure waste of time,it plays adverts but when programs come on it freezes and remains like that,i know four other people having the same problem one chooses to put the STV app on their iPhone which works ok but what’s the point of that it’s better and would be enjoyable to view on a bigger screen.I decided to delete app altogether.

my dissatisfaction with the recent performance of the stv app streaming service is not good. I’ve encountered repeated issues including buffering, poor video quality, and episodes not loading properly.

Despite having a stable internet connection and using a compatible device, the app fails to deliver a smooth streaming experience. Would not recommend. After a while it does become more stable but not from the get go
