A new low to SSDnodes
Already they are known to be faking SSD as RAM and giving too much (too good to be true) RAM to people

and now they went new low by giving only ipv6 for new vps where as their sales page says "Root access and a dedicated public IP" without mentioning it is v4 or v6.

their home page and sales page doesn't mention about not giving ipv4 but their order page asks extra money for ipv4

Been with them for quite a while now. Although I faced some kind of small technical issues , nothing out of the ordinary what I appreciate is their excellent customer support and how quickly they responded.
Preferred working with a small company that actually listened to my needs then just being another number to other ones.

I am using this service and seems ok for small projects. If you have docker with some big apps installed, you will find it dead slow, even with most highest grade vps.

Also, the reviews here at trustpilot or hostadvise or g2 crowd are little fishy and against trustpilot policy.

SSDNodes customer care is excellent. Price is very competitive. The speed of NVMe is very fast. Worth the investment.

SSD Nodes gave decent vps with competitive pricing with good space,cpu and bandwidth combination. Their customer support is also knowledgeable and helpful.

I recently discovered the most reliable VPS and I'm thrilled to share my positive experience. The service is not only cost-effective but also extremely dependable. The setup process was also very user-friendly, and the customer support team was readily available to answer all my queries. I highly recommend this VPS service to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option to host their automated trading.

Caveat: I've only had the VPS for 10 days, but I waited this long before posting my initial impressions.

I have a full dedicated server with another hosting company for nearly 15 years. I'm very happy with it/them and it's my primary server.

I've had a secondary (for MX and Bind and other things) running on a cloud VM for a couple of years. That service was changing, and I decided to move that to SSD Nodes.

I grabbed one of their specials (which they run *all the time* so there's always "some deal") and was up and running in a few minutes.

I had two questions that caused me to reach out to support on the first day (I wanted a Reverse PTR for DNS and I had an issue with port 25 inbound).

I got very quick acknowledgements of both issues. A day later they updated the PTR record. Shortly after that they proved to my satisfaction that the machine I was testing port 25 from was blocking outbound port 25 requests, and my SSD Node server was listening perfectly well to port 25.

So, excellent support response on both counts! Not instantaneous, but within 1 day (perfectly reasonable, especially at these prices!).

Given the prices, I went with an insanely overkill sized VPS. I'm glad I did, as I can now see myself transitioning some services over to it, or running entirely new services that I wouldn't have considered loading up on my main dedicated server.

We'll see how it goes long term, but right now, 10 days in, I couldn't be happier with the service.

I bought 3 VPS instances from them and they are FANTASTIC!!! Great performance, no down time, no network issues. I only have a few minor suggestions/complaints:
1. They do not sell add-on IPs.
2. They do not sell private network add-ons.
Other than that, GREAT company and price/resources!

I've had several VPSes with ssdnodes, and have been pretty happy with them... until they unceremoniously blocked all routes to my biggest server during a transfer of my entire photo library. When I exhausted a few hours trying to figure out what was going on, I finally contacted a chatbot at ssdnodes who said simply, "we're seeing a lot of traffic on your node." No apology, no explanation, not even an admission that they were deliberately blocking the ONE time I've actually even USED any of my VPSes for any real work. Infuriating is an understatement. The LEAST they could have done is send me a message asking if it was legitimate use before just shutting off the spigot completely and without warning or even explanation.
Now I'm starting to wonder if "transfer" means TOTAL for the entire plan, not per month! :-o

I've had 3 different servers for over 6-9 months now (16GB in Chicago, 24GB in Tokyo, and 32GB in LA) and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I've heard others have had no issues, while others have nothing but problems with slow oversold servers. For me in mid-2022, I've had nothing but good performance. I have a handful of other 6-8 core 16GB VPS and dedicated servers at Vultr and IONOS, and these servers are as fast or faster than those. I usually run Plesk on all my servers, Enhance.com on another, and none of them experience any CPU Steal at all, over 6-9 months of use so far.

I think the bigger the VPS (32GB+), the better your odds of not having CPU Steal or bad neighbors, or maybe they are getting good at shutting down problem servers, or maybe a lot of these 1 star reviews are from the problem servers they did shut down.

I did have one issue of a data center cage power issue, it took down 1 server for 2-3 hours, but was back up as soon as the power issue at the cage was resolved. Data center issues happen, all the time, sporadically, which is why I often use different ones so multiple servers are not affected all at once. Never put all your eggs in one basket, so not the same data center, and SSDNodes is one of many providers... so far, so good, and very good value for what I've experienced to date.

I have been using their services for more than 6 months. My server works very fast and efficiently, its performance is stable.

I definitely recommend this company, I haven't opened a single support ticket since I bought it.

I've a few VPS at SSDNodes. Customer support has been great. They were quick to answer my questions, and help with one problem I had with the signup. The price is very competitive. I have already recommended to a friend. Keep up the good work!

Very good price-performance ratio, have been a customer for 2 months and there have been no problems so far. The support is very friendly and helps immediately.

The setup of the virtual machine I ordered was a bit chaotic and the support was not really great until a guy named Arun help me to have my VM running fine.

Performances are as expected and the bandwidth seems pretty fast.

Trustpilot should have the option for 0 stars. SSDNodes does not deserve even one star. I purchased their performance VPS (KVM / X-LARGE) that has 8 cores and 32Gb ram. At the start, the VPS was okay, but after a month it became extremely slow. I ran the benchmark and found that all scores are very poor (e.g. CPU score: multi-core was ~3500, RAM write: 650 MB/s, RAM read: 1980 MB/s, Disk io: 380MB/s). They claim to have NVMe on performance VPS, but disk io suggests that they are using HDD. Also, they run some cronjob that deletes cache/buffer if RAM usage reaches ~4gb. They just cheat customers by false advertising. Stay away and save money.

I have the service about 2 month, and was great!, good service, fast response and a perfect perfomance for my in production SMTP service.
I recomend with five stars.

Leaving a 5 star, although I think they deserve 4 purely because of the terrible reviews here.

Hacking, lack of support etc..
These people fail to realize two important things, the most important being these are "UNMANAGED" services and "CHEAP".

Unmanaged means you handle everything, even things not caused by you and by the OS or an Application support is essentially purely for billing and uptime if they help with anything else you should be thankful.

Now they deserve 4 stars as the servers are often rock solid, but very occasionally they let some bad apples on the servers that do ruin the performance for a period of time until they are banned.

Other than that there servers are excellent and past the fake deals it's actually a nice service honestly think the deal thing really takes away from the service as a whole and makes it appear scammy.

Been with them for several years, never really had any problems with them. And service was good, recently decided to go for a 3 year service plan with them, based on past experience and the price, though it was a good deal. It was not a good deal. Suffered from extremely poor service, as others have noted, you do not get what you are promised. Services are severely oversold. Seems like a bait and switch they may have been okay a few years ago, but now its just oversold and you do not get anywhere near the resources that are promised. I tried to cancel within the 14 days of the new service, but they do not allow you to cancel for a refund, only a credit. Why would I want a credit if the service they are going to provide is nowhere near what they can deliver? It's a bait and switch, avoid at all costs.

EDIT 2: They left us a bad review to try to force our hand further or for revenge. This is insane. They don't deserve your money.

EDIT: They tried to blackmail me saying they would refund the charge if I remove the review. When I ask them to take care of it they said they can't unless I remove the review. Wow, just wow - add blackmail to the services list.

There are 2 huge problems with SSDNodes .

Since starting to use the service, they have imposed rules which make it clear that we don't actually own what we pay for and we can't host whatever we'd like because they will block you if you host a service that they don't like - arbitrary rules make me even feel like we're being spied on.

Next up - the customer support. They try to squeeze every single cent out of you as a customer and if you decide that a service is not a good fit, they refuse (or as a support person said "they stand by their policies") to pro-rate the amount - I even offered to pay 50% of the fee for using it just 10% of the time. They offered credits rather than money back. Their reasoning is that the services are discounted. They shouldn't discount the services if they are planning to implement these dark patterns of squeezing every single cent out of the people who have used their services.

Shame really - I first thought this would be a short time off from using their service but after the "royal treatment" this is a breakup - and yes, it's you, not me.

Could not progress past their MaxMind error.
Customer support were reviewing the details but It would be good to receive some feedback sooner.
