Sold my hilux to Andy told me to take it off auto trader phone next day he couldn’t buy it as it was a business address just a tire kicker

I advertised my car through Autotrader and had a lot of dealers call the following morning. One of them was Andy from SMR Direct. Their price was competitive with the others (no different) but they were very proactive, following up on email within minutes. They paid a deposit for the car and came down to collect it a few days later. Everything was very professional and friendly and it made life nice and simple. They check the car *extremely* carefully. In my case the car was pretty mint but they noticed a couple of things I had never spotted that a previous owner had repaired, and chipped the price based on any damage; this isn't unreasonable but be prepared for it. They asked for a £300 discount, I countered for a £150 price chip on a £22k car and they accepted. They paid for the car by instant bank transfer and drove away with it. I was pretty pleased with how effortless it all was and they are a very professional team.

Andy and Sean were great I advertised my van they were the first to call and they made the whole process very easy and friendly. they were meticulous in what they wanted and very open so I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Customer services was flawless. Having a dedicated contact who kept me updated via text, email and phone call really kept the process on track and they were really flexible in order to accommodate and make the process stress-free. There were no hidden terms, everything was upfront and as advised so very positive engagement.

From the initial contact, Andy at SMR Direct was clear, precise and delivered.
You will need to provide photo's and various service documents etc and be honest about the condition of your vehicle.
The original sum was confirmed and appointment made for their driver to collect the vehicle, again very professional. The driver undertook a thorough inspection, reported his findings to SMR Direct and then the funds were transferred.

SMR bought my car via Motorway, I was initially a bit concerned about the process and outstanding finance settlement - but reading these reviews provided me comfort.

Everything was handled professionally, communication was great and they turned up exactly as agreed - fully checked the car over and paid the balance to myself and the finance company in front of me so I could check.

Would recommend to others.
