I bought Smiffy wigs for years, for parties, pantomimes and performances, they used to be brilliant value for money: loads of volume, very good to wear, stayed in place, great colours. Not any more. They are horrible flat and slidey, impossible to style and the colours are vile. I've just bought my final one and will take it to a charity shop because I've missed the window to return it. RIP Smiffy.

Ordered a jacket for a christmas present, item had faulty stitching on sleeve, contacted customer support and within 12 minutes of my email they sent a replacement on next day shipping. Best customer service i have experienced. Very happy with product and service.

One star is too generous in this instance. The customer service was terrible. I needed the outfit for Friday and selected a delivery to hopefully reflect that next day service they promise.. a label was made but never said it was despatched.. still nothing as of 5pm today and order was placed 12:30pm yesterday afternoon.. before the 2pm next day cut off
Even after an email to say will this arrive as I need it as promised I was assured that it would be with me.
After calling I was told there was nothing they could do and that I just had to wait for the tracking to update.
Very very unhelpful

Ordered a wig for Halloween on Tuesday, and paid £6.99 for guaranteed next day delivery. Have still not received and are now telling me it will be delivered tomorrow by end of day, although I am doubtful. Unreliable and unprofessional.

Terrible service I ordered one pennwise outfit and two wigs, only one wig was posted out, went to the customer service to let them know which there reply was well two was scanned in the bag.

If two was scanned in the bag I wouldn’t be here speaking to you numb nuts!

Don’t waste your time with these crooks not willing to help their customers out shoddy service through and through.

Also the penny wise outfit that did come is terrible and looks like a cheap temu imitation.

Zero stars if I could. I ordered a cowboy belt/holster. The image on the website, matches the image on the packaging for the belt they sent me, but the belt in the packaging is entirely different. Their customer service is entirely useless. Not a single apology, or offer to correct the images on the site, just an attitude of “send it back if you’re not happy” after telling me that they didn’t even sell the style of belt I showed them I had received and that I had been sent the right one. Yes they practically called me a liar - on closer inspection if you read the reviews of the belt on the website you can see the actual item they’re sending to customers is totally different to the image they advertise and has been since the review with an image was showing in 2023!

Ordered on 7th October, they cancelled on the 13th October due to item 'being out of stock', too late to reorder something else for my daughter's party . Avoid at all costs they will let you down and they can't be bothered to respond to negative reviews, speaks volumes.

Ordered a costume on Friday and the following Friday it had still not been dispatched. It was hard to track the progress of my order as no updates where given by Smiffys and Shop didn't have much information on the progress of my order. So I decided to cancel the order as it would not come in time for when I needed and to be fair they responded within 30 mins to confirm the cancellation and hoping to receive my money back soon. Wouldn't recommend if you want a quick service.

Amazing company very quick in answering emails and very helpful one of the best companies I think I have dealt with an agent called Niels was incredible thank you so much for being so understanding.

Ordered a costume & paid for next day delivery. Never arrived. They had input my delivery address incorrectly with the courier company. Spent 45mins trying to correct this so arrived 2 days later than it should. They are rude and unapologetic even after providing proof. Neils should not be representing this company! I requested a full refund including delivery - they have refused and I now have to pay to return the item!!

Ordered 4 costumes & accessories on a Monday evening , still not arrived by the Friday so rang company as had had e-mail to say 2 day delivery . Was told order still there to be dispatched . So when I asked why , was told problem with courier . Then promised definitely put out as next day UPS delivery & they apologised for hold up . Delivery still didn’t turn up today as promised . So over a week & still waiting for order . Happy to take my £127 , whilst I sit here empty handed . The lady I spoke to Teresa , was helpful & tried to get it sorted . But here I am , still waiting . I would advise people to use a different company that is more professional. They don’t care about the customer or their orders . I will never use them again or let anyone I know waste their hard earned money on this company . Avoid at all costs

I ordered a costume, but I accidentally ordered two by mistake. When they arrived, the costume was too big. I emailed them and straight away they sent me refund instructions and I was refunded as soon as they got them back.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but I have to say that the return and refund process was incredibly easy. Helpful, understanding staff and monies refunded in a few days! You don't get that very often these days!!!

Such great costumes and customer service is 10/10. I ordered a costume and unfortunately there was a hole, I contacted customer service, received a response within 1 day and a replacement costume was sent out right away at no extra cost. I could not be happier thank you very much

I recently bought a costume for a present which was sent express, regional, and arrived within 48 hours of my order. Unfortunately there was a 5cm length of missed stitching in the raglan sleeve area, which meant I could not give as a present. Smiffys customer service in dealing with this was expedient and very satisfactory. I will be happy to deal with this company again.

Ordered freezer meals 11/10, no I have not made a mistake, 11/10 is correct Ainsley is great, quick, efficient and the meals fresh and superbly presented and most importantly very tasty and plentiful

The quality of the item was poor, and when I wanted to return it the website kept projecting "page unknown" .... I then contacted them to receive a message of how to post a return back to them, but that this was not a free service and the postage would be at my own expense. Therefore, I would strongly recommend doing some research before buying any costume from this company, as to whether the quality is going to meet your expectation, as it will not be easy or cost affective to return the item. Poor service and poor item.
