Overly "embellished"
I have to say they certainly do their best to give customers a "creepy" experience that arouses their emotions. I was hoping this would be more factually based with real stories of ghosts. And yes, we got that, for sure. However, the delivery was done in an embellished storytelling way, chock full of details that were given just to horrify us as the stories unfolded. Many of these details were unrelated to ghost sightings -- things like how people were put into coffins at the time, etc. --which was a gory detail given just for the shock value, and unrelated to supernatural sightings.
I was especially disappointed with what seemed like blatant trickery for the sake of giving people what they came for. We were shown a photo that had transparent boots in the picture (supposedly a ghost), and then told to take our own photos up against the glass of a building vestibule. My photos clearly show the reflection of the feet of the people on the tour, standing outside (ghost boots!) Do the Sisters Grimm know what they're doing with this stunt? Probably. That made me doubt the other stuff I was told on this ghost tour. Credibility is important.
