I have just purchased a car from Sinclair Land Rover in Cardiff.
The deal was made easy primarily due to the excellent sales person Charlie Spring.
He was polite, not pushy at all, extremely knowledgeable, efficient and found me a better vehicle than the one I originally went in to purchase.

Responsive, looks for solutions, goes beyond what I would normally expect from a sales enquiry. Charlie was superb at responding swiftly, coming up with suggestions when first vehicle of interest wasn't quite right for me. And very nice person to deal with too!

Had an absolute awful experience this morning after booking a service online, arrived at garage to be told the online system doesn’t talk to the in person booking so no booking, showed his email
Confirmation and that my husband had previously paid for the second service to which he said No he hasn’t nothing on system- gave him dates and amounts and no still refused said it must be wrong they don’t take payment upfront and I would have to sort out myself with Stratstone. After numerous calls and thinking I would have to book the car in at Shrewsbury 70 miles away I made a call to Newport and was told yes my credit was against my vehicle ready for use unsure why the man at Cardiff turned me away. Lovely lady in Newport has now booked me in but absolute shambles

Really helpful and seamless service. Charlie made the experience of exchanging cars super easy. All sorted within a very short time frame. Recommend and I’ll for sure be back when I need another car.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience buying my new Range Rover Sport from Sinclair Land Rover Cardiff.

From the moment I arrived, the entire sales team made me feel welcome, and the level of customer service was outstanding throughout.
The dealership itself has a relaxed, premium atmosphere, and while you’re waiting there’s a fantastic selection of complimentary refreshments, which is a lovely touch and makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. A special mention has to go to Joshua, who was exceptional from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to understand what I was looking for. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and I never felt under any pressure at any stage.

Buying a new car is a big decision, but Joshua made the whole process enjoyable, straightforward, and completely stress-free. He kept me informed every step of the way, answered all of my questions with patience, and made sure everything was perfect when I collected the car.

The handover was a fantastic experience especially when I pulled the car reveal cover off to reveal my new car and I drove away absolutely delighted with my new Range Rover Sport. It’s refreshing to receive such genuine, high-quality customer service these days, and it’s a real credit to Joshua and the whole team at Sinclair Land Rover Cardiff.

Absolutely appalling service from Sinclair Land Rover Cardiff.

Following two recent visits, I was promised health check videos on both occasions and still haven’t received either of them, despite chasing and being told one would be sent over. Following my most recent service, I then got into my car to find one of my keys had been deactivated. This caused huge disruption to my day, with my husband having to leave work to bring the other key to me and family having to step in to take my daughter to school.

When I contacted Sinclair Cardiff, I was promised a call back that never came, told roadside assistance would be contacted when it wasn’t, and was then expected to drive 45 minutes back to the dealership to sort an issue that arose immediately after they had serviced the vehicle. In the end, Land Rover Assistance were far more helpful than the dealership itself and resolved the issue over the phone.

I was also told Jordan would follow up regarding a door alignment issue which has caused paint damage, but given the lack of follow-through on everything else, I have very little confidence that this will happen either.

What makes this worse is that I have now formally complained and still haven’t even had the courtesy of a reply. Since owning this vehicle it has been one issue after another and, whilst some problems started with a different dealership at purchase stage, the overall experience has shown that Land Rover is very happy to charge premium prices without delivering anything close to a premium standard of service.

Poor communication, broken promises, no accountability and no response to a formal complaint. I would not recommend Sinclair Land Rover Cardiff based on my experience.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this dealership.
I booked my Range Rover in for a recall and was assured the work would be completed the same day. However, a faulty part was fitted, meaning the vehicle had to be kept for an additional day. This was particularly inconvenient as I was relying on a friend for transport after being called to collect the vehicle and then told it was not ready.
When I eventually collected the car, I discovered oil and dirt marks throughout the interior, along with a dent and scratches on the driver’s door and door handle that were not there beforehand. I contacted the dealership immediately and was asked to return a few days later so the damage could be repaired and the vehicle cleaned.
Unfortunately, when I collected the vehicle again, only the dent on the handle had been repaired. The scratches remained, the interior was still marked with oil and dirt, and whatever product had been used on the exterior appears to have stripped the black trim detailing.
Since then, my emails have gone unanswered and I have received no callbacks despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue. As a result, I am now seeking legal advice.
From start to finish, the service has been unacceptable. Extremely disappointing and far below the standard I would expect.

The sales team in Cardiff. Nicholas in particular extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. We are very pleased with the process of buying our vehicle. He kept us informed at every stage.

I took my autistic 7yo here yesterday. He currently has an obsession with cars and loves seeing them up close. As you would expect, on arrival I was asked if I needed any help, so I explained that my son loves cars and could we look around to show him the cars but he wouldn't touch them or go inside. The young girl I spoke to was so lovely and said he could go inside but to take his shoes off and no climbing through the car (the fact this even needed to be said baffled me - why are people letting this kids climb over show cars? 🫪). We couldn't afford a Jag or Land Rover and definitely weren't going to generate a sale, but the team were more than happy to let my son see the cars.

I can honestly say, you made my boys day. He was gleaming and so excited. He was on cloud 9 all day. Thank you so much.

I'd like the staff member to know how much it's appreciated so if possible to feed this back. I visited around 14.30 on 27/06/26. There were 2 receptionists, and it was the younger girl with longe, lighter hair. I didn't catch her name.

I can honestly say, based on the experience we had, should we ever be able to afford a car from JLR/Sinclair, I wouldn't think twice about going back!

All round happy experience . Have been back and fro for a few months looking .Waited for my operations to be over and then bought . No pressure sales and Ben did an excellent job in producing an excellent vehicle for us . Our ninth Rangerover . We are loyal to the brand . Did look at a Porsche Cayenne and a Mercedes for a comparison check . No contest !!
