We had a wonderful holiday with Simpson Travel. The customer service was exemplary, and the concierge made everything smooth and stress-free. Our villa was beautiful, well-equipped, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend them for a relaxing, well-supported holiday!

We’ve now travelled with Simpson Travel several times — staying in Kalkan, Corsica and Lefkada — and every single trip has been absolutely fabulous.

From the moment you book, everything just feels easy and well organised. The booking team are helpful and knowledgeable, and once you arrive the concierge service is brilliant — always friendly, always on hand if you need anything, they always answer the phone too when we have called to ask a question.

The villas themselves have been exceptional every time. Beautiful locations, spotless, incredibly well equipped and clearly chosen with care. You really feel like you’re staying somewhere special rather than just a standard rental.

Called to make a booking on a property for this summer and asked if I could hold the week for 24 hours, I was told if I didn't book their and then not to bother. I found the customer service the worst - why did they need my money so urgently?

We had the most fantastic experience with Simpson Travel staying at Trapezaki Bay Villa in Kefalonia. A huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful rep, Karen. She was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about making our holiday perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly, helpful attitude made the holiday so perfect.

Once again we had the pleasure of having Karen Parkinson as our rep when we stayed in Trapezaki, Kefalonia. Her passion for the island and her knowledge of its history is amazing. She definitely goes the extra 100 miles! Nothing is too much trouble for her. Simpsons is a wonderful company because they have people like Karen working for them.

Simpson Travel's customer service is the reason we come back...nothing is a problem both pre and post departure.
We returned to kalkan in Turkey October 12 -19th as our experience last year was out of this world. We stayed 7 nights at villa Mavi Koy, the location was simply sublime.For ease we arranged private transfer and our hire car was at the villa when we arrived!
The villa's location is simply amazing, direct sea access via steps and a diving board!... our own private sundeck overlooking the sea...we spent many evenings coming out of the sea onto the sun loungers watching the sun go down...heaven on earth!
Breakfast every morning prepared by the guys from Korsan was fantastic ..we ate our breakfast on the mid terrace overlooking the sea, authentic Turkish breakfast with sumptuous amounts of fresh food daily set us up for the day.
The location means a taxi to the town centre with its vast array of restaurants and shops is 200tl. Patara beach is 15 mins by car...
We had the Korsan guys come and cook a bbq on our first night which was amazing..just as good as last year...highly recommend,especially after a long day travelling.
The villa itself is showing signs of age...HOWEVER...the location, daily breakfast and heated pool make up for this!!....we could not have had a better location...the sea access even allowed for water sports guys to pick us up in their boat...awesome!
We asked for groceries to be at the villa for our arrival, as with last year this was not a problem and everything we asked for was there ... Kay the in country concierge is a credit to Simpson Travel, nothing is an issue, 100% genuine customer focused service...always on hand to sort any issues, she goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is worry free, we have never known customer service like it to the point we class her as a true friend, we could write a review just about her service alone!
My wife hurt her back during the holiday and Kay checked in daily offering to sort a doctor/hospital if needed and even offered to come and sit with her at the hospital as she is fluent in turkish...wow!!!...
We hired a private sunrise boat trip with dinner with the guys at Falcon...simply fantastic,diving from the boat into the sea whilst the sun set over the sea..the meal was fantastic..this is what memories are made of.
In short the people in Kalkan are amazing, we ate at Sade and almost daily at the doy doy...wonderful food service and people...
We are already sorting our next holiday with Simpson Travel in Kalkan for next year...why?...simply because the customer service, selection of villas and attention to detail are 2nd to none.
For our departure we didn't fly out until 22:05 and although we vacated the villa at 10:00, part of the service saw us spend the day at the Kalkan Regency hotel. A lovely hotel and location, we had a room until we departed at 18:00 which was amazing, totally stress free...
Simpson Travel simply does "what it says on the tin"...to the point my wife had a call from Simpson upon our return to the UK to see if she was okay..
Overall, we can't recommend this company enough ..in a world of pretenders..these guys consistently deliver, from the time you book to the time you arrive back home...Thank you Simpson and Kay for such an amazing stay...can't wait to see you again Kay next year..simply outstanding service..

First time my wife and I have used Simpson Travel and we had high hopes right from booking our villa holiday. We were not disappointed. We have taken many villa holidays with different companies but from start to finish Simpsons have been far superior in every facet of providing a wonderful holiday.

The icing on the cake however, (or should I say pies from the bakery), was their Lefkada concierge, Yiannis Aravanis. A more helpful, friendly yet thoroughly professional person you could not wish to meet. Always available yet never intrusive he checked in with us from afar just to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We did not need his services but appreciated he was only a phone call away. He made us feel like friends and is a true, (Yorkshire/ Greek), gentleman. Thank you.

Will definitely use Simpsons again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

We had a wonderful two week holiday in south east Crete at Artemis Hotel and Elysia. All Simpson staff were brilliant, from the phone calls helping with my last minute booking, arranging for us to split our holiday between the lovely beachside hotel for week1 and the beautiful house in Pefki village for week 2, organising my preferred flight times and fulfilling my request for airport taxi transfers (long drive!) and then a local hire car for exploring. I forgot some essential medication and Vasillis our first concierge sorted out a prescription with the local pharmacist on day 1, such a relief! Then Olympia our second concierge was fantastic on village life, recommendations, and little extras like organising fresh bread to our doorstep. They are both a great credit to Simpsons. A truly exceptional company providing a seamless, authentic, brilliant, relaxing holiday experience. Exactly what we needed! Our second holiday with Simpsons, and we’ve already reserved for next year, the first time we have ever done that!

Just returned from our 2nd holiday in Kalkan with Simpsons. Superb service and experience from booking, pre departure, during stay and return. Local concierge Kitty was brilliant and accomodation one of best Villa’s we have stayed in. Highly recommended

We had a very restful and varied holiday in Palairos near Lefkada. The villa Apollo was very beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. We were close enough to Lefkada for several day trips to some of the most beautiful beaches. The tavernas were reasonably priced and the produce exceptional. Local wine very reasonably priced too. I would thoroughly recommend Simpson travel. They were so helpful from booking and throughout our stay. Reassuring to know that the concierge was just a phone call or what’s app message away. We followed his suggestions for places to visit and restaurants, which were all great .

GK hotel was superb. Beautiful location, good food but the best part was the staff. Everyone was helpful, obliging and cheerful.

The peaceful location, the 2 Simpson Reps Sarah & Ionnas always on hand should you need them.
Met some lovely people.
One thing that might add a bit more to the ebjoyment would be perhaps, one nights' entertainment a week, ie Greek music night & meal.

Just returned from the Bozburun Peninsula after staying at the Bademli Bahçe hotel which is absolutely stunning.

Richard and Gulsah are fantastic owners, so welcoming, helpful and thoughtful and we have really been spoilt by them and their small team.

A rare find in a very quiet peaceful and relaxing spot in a lovely part of Turkey. Great accommodation, simply stunning views, fantastic breakfasts and the lunch specials - just divine.

Sophie, the Simpson Concierge, was friendly and very helpful with great information about the area. All our travel arrangements were spot on from the start to the finish of the holiday and the new Simpson app was a great addition and kept us informed and up to date with everything.

All in all a fantastic holiday and one we hope to repeat.

This is the second year we have used Simpsons travel. Their pre holiday information is second to none, their customer service is second to none and their local representatives are second to none! Our holiday in Lefkada Greece was just fabulous. We were met at the airport with a big smile, helpful information and a bottle of water after our journey. It’s these details that make a difference The villa was amazing, the location spectacular. The standard of the accommodation was amazing with the owner making sure all was well with us. The local representative, Yiannis was so helpful and again regularly making sure all was ok. I have run out of superlatives to describe Simpsons and our holiday. We will not use any other company if future

We had a lovely summer holiday in Corfu arranged through Simpson Travel. An all round great experience from the ease of booking, the immediate response if we had a question to the wonderful villa we stayed in with the wonderful assistance of Anna if we had any requests when away. We needed some assistance with something we'd left behind and they were more than kind helping us get it back home again. A wonderful experience and I thoroughly recommend this company and their wonderful team.

Great selection of quality hotels and villas. However, the best asset is the staff; during the booking process the staff are super helpful and friendly (knowing the locations well), and the concierge at each location are amazing. Thank you Simpson for such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday 😀

We have holidayed with Simpson on and off, for over a decade. As a couple and as a family, with children and then children & grand children. The accommodation is always ‘special’ and the locations delightful. Choosing, booking and personalising the holiday is always easy with the UK telephone staff. Local help just a call away and always resulting in a minimum stress holiday. Everyone has a great time. Ten out of ten, every time.

The high expectations myself and my travelling party had of Simpson Travel were cemented due to their reputation, their website, their promise of personal service, and given the commercials involved, their price banding.

We, a party of 5, booked Villa Ariadne/Amneris (which is it?) in Lefkada, Greece for the last week of August 2025. This booking was made in September 2024, so we had nearly a year to look forward to it.

The booking support was good in the main, although some emails did take a while to respond to. When requesting a larger car due to the amount of cases, Simpson Travel suggested transfers to/from the villa with the smaller car being at the villa. Thoroughly appreciated this suggestion, and it works very well.
The welcome at Preveza airport was good, efficient and a swift transfer through Lefkada's stunning scenery had us at our villa.

On arrival, to say my heart sank is not to sound dramatic, but this was expected to be a cut above. The wonderful representation provided by the photos was not what we arrived to.
To preface, the villa itself is lovely: modern, clean lines, very comfortable beds/bedding. This is as detailed.
But we were greeted with no thought of arrival presentation: two loungers without mattresses, one of the bean bag loungers just sitting there with a huge tear in it, garden furniture just strewn wherever; exterior (and interior) glass had not been cleaned with very evident smudges from previous occupants, as well as unsightly water stains. The stairs to the lower ground area (which the teenagers thoroughly enjoyed) were filthy, with random pieces of metal discarded at the bottom. The area outside of the bedroom of the lower ground area had not been cleaned, possibly ever, due to the amount of cobwebs and dead bugs.

All these issues were immediately escalated on our arrival day. I followed the requested escalation process, however the usual Lefkada concierge needed to return to the UK for the week we were there, so Lefkada was looked after by another. My attempts to contact were futile due to the Greek number given not working, so I had to escalate through the central office email addresses. They then got in touch with the concierge who, to their credit, did pay us a visit on day 2 to have a look at the issues and then returned on day 3 with, I believe, the owners sister who proceeded to walk around with me, making a note of all the issues.

Frustratingly, the only issue that was resolved was the glass cleaning and a token effort to clean the stairs/outside of the lower ground bedroom window, and this was as part of the usual Wednesday clean which had to be extended to resolve the issues. A full week, nothing else was resolved and no communication to inform me nothing else would be resolved. This is not the elite level service we expected.

This villa is supposed to be for 8 people, but that would be a real push given there's only 4 proper sun loungers (if they have the full complement of mattresses). There is a very convenient pedestrian gate built into the electric vehicle gate, but there is no key to be able to use this facility. An explanation from Simpson for this is that when the key is issued, people get confused and lock themselves out.

The lower ground area is a great space, particularly for teenagers. For our 2 teenagers (14 and 13 year old boys), this made their holiday that bit more special. However, it can only be locked from the inside with a key. This meant for them to be securely locked in at night, they had control of the key and the parents had no way of getting in, other than knocking on the door and trying to wake up sleeping teenagers. A small thing, but could be a bigger issue in an emergency.

The main bedroom on the top floor is disappointing and has such a sloping ceiling that if you're of any height over 5'8, you'll be spending your time bent over to get into the far side of bed. Of course, this is unavoidable due to the design, but this should be made clear when people are looking as a booking consideration). There is also very limited hanging/storage space, particularly for 2 adults.

The overwhelming sense of disappointment is cumulative: if the issues picked up had been resolved swiftly upon arrival, then this review would be written very differently. I have stayed in many villas over the years, with villa companies at much lower price points than Simpson's, but they all provided a better 'in resort' service when it came to rectifying issues.

The issues themselves are of a subjective nature, I know that. But regardless, the perception is they have been paid lip service to, aside from a box of sweet treats and a couple of bottles of wine as a gesture.

Lygia itself is gorgeous: unapologetically Greek, fabulous tavernas, wonderful views. But be aware, the dogs in the immediate area bark - a lot!
