I recently ordered a dress from Simple Retro and absolutely fell in love with the design the moment I opened the package. The fabric felt premium, the stitching was clean, and the silhouette was beautifully tailored — exactly as shown online.
When I tried it on, I realized the size I chose was slightly snug around the waist. I reached out to customer service, expecting a generic response. Instead, they provided detailed guidance on styling and adjusting the fit — suggesting how to pair it with a belt or minor alterations for a perfect look. They even explained which measurements to consider for future purchases, which was incredibly helpful.

Thanks to their thoughtful support, I was able to enjoy the dress comfortably without any hassle. It’s rare to find a brand that combines gorgeous design, quality craftsmanship, and genuinely attentive service. Simple Retro has earned my loyalty!

On top of that, my package was delayed due to a heavy snowstorm, which could have been frustrating. Simple Retro proactively updated me, explained the situation, and ensured that my order arrived safely without any extra stress.

The dresses are stunning, I’m very satisfied, will order again!

I own 4 Simple Retro dresses, and they always get a lot of compliments! Their clothing is delicate and feminine. If you prefer to wear natural fibers, some of their clothes are made of cotton. The dresses are lined, and well structured. To me that's a big yes!

Be careful. This website is a scam. They never shipped my purchased items and never responded to the emails.

It took forever to get the 3 dresses and a sweater. Each dress varied in sizes dramatically from huge to tiny and all of them were medium size.
I kept one dress and the sweater
And returned the other two dresses.
My return was on January 9.
Today is February 17 and I still have not received my refund. I have contacted the customer service number of times and nothing ….crickets. Not sure what else to do. Extremely disappointed in a poor quality service. How is this possible ?

I urgently want to warn everyone about this company!!
I placed an order with this company and the money was immediately charged to my credit card. For many weeks now, I have been waiting for a response to my question regarding the status of my order. I have already sent three inquiries to different email addresses of the company, but each time I received the exact same automated reply. A personal response from a staff member within 24 hours, which was promised, has still not been provided to this day.

A link that was sent to me leads to a website where I was supposed to log in to get more information about my order. However, when I try to log in, I am told that I am not authorized to access the account.

I have no information whatsoever about my order and I assume that I may never receive it. I will try to request a refund through my credit card company. People need to be warned about this company! Unfortunately, the negative comments and reviews about this company have proven to be true in my case! Hands off!

Placed an order on January 18, 2026. An item was out of stock and there was no communication about this from their side until I inquired. I asked for a refund for the out of stock item and a shipment for the remainder of the order. Since then, I have yet to hear back from the customer service email address. The only response is an auto generated email that a ticket has been created for my issue and a representative will reach out soon. This has not happened. I have received 3 of these auto generated emails in the last two weeks. The worst part is that the link to access the ticket does not work. For some reason, the site says my email address does not have access.

Worst customer service, always be wary about shopping on websites without a phone contact. I will be reaching out to my cc company.

The brand is a fraud.
The size chart is wrong.
They are unresponsive, and didn’t provide any contact details to send a package back(I’m from a different country).
If you sell, please provide return package also.

The sizing is off. I am a normal sized woman (155lbs) and the dress I ordered, an XL while lovely, was more like a size S-M. It also took about a month to arrive. Then you have to pay for the return and print out your own label, as they don't provide one and mail it to California. If you'll notice, all the models on the site are tiny. Not for me, unfortunately. They also don't carry many plus sized dresses...

I love Simple Retro I have been a customer for a while and really appreciate their quality, customer service and affordability of their pieces. I find styles that I don’t see anywhere else and I love their unique pieces. The items of have purchased have been as described and well made. Will continue to be a customer in the future!

I had reached out to simply retro MUTLIPLE times to ship my current order but they still HAVE NOT SHIPPED IT OR RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS. I am afraid this may be a scam!!!! I might have to dispute the charge on my card because of this.

I've been a customer of Simple Retro for about a year now. I love that they offer affordable fashion in the vintage-inspired realm. It can be hard to find pieces that look vintage without being expensive or being true vintage. I think they do academia/gamine style fashion really well! I've found the quality to be really amazing for the price (I especially love the knit items and jackets)! Most items fit fairly true to size with some styles running smaller. My only piece of advice is that I would love to see them expand their size range as it's pretty standard. But other than that, no complaints!

I really love the quality of the clothes, and I genuinely like many of their designs. I already own several pieces from their collection, and I’m very happy with them.

Desideravo questo completo vintage e romantico.la spedizione è stata velocissima , è arrivato in pochissimo tempo con la tracciatura in tutti gli step. La camicia ricamata è in vera seta , quando tocchi il suo tessuto sembra un velo pregiato. Ho comprato entrambi i colori di questo modello pregiato.

Simple retro has the most exquisite pieces that are one of a kind. I’ve had some pieces for 4-5 years that look brand new😍 I was excited to get new staples like plaid skirts, cardigans and knits!

Poor quality and sizing. When I returned the item, they kept making odd excuses to not return my money and asked for my bank details. I had to file a dispute with my credit card to get my money back.
