From the seering warmth and friendly atmosphere, arose beautiful voices like the Phoenix rising out of the ashes, celebrating and reflecting on the journey of people migrating to England from the Caribbean. The storytelling fused calypso vibes, steelpan with classical orchestration. An elder even got up and danced! Good for her. It was a bold reimaging of Caribbean songs and folktales. Thoroughly enjoyable. The only disappointing thing was, time ran out, but it was nice reconnecting to the venue. I haven't been there in years. Staff and Volunteers were engaging and friendly. The event was well organised.

I've been a member of Showfilmfirst for a while now and everything they do is fantastic.
I've booked seat fillers at our local theatre for next to nothing and also been to a couple of outdoors concerts at our local rugby ground.
The experience has always been first class.
And will always be looking out for the next events to visit.

I'm excited everytime I get an email, thinking what might i be able to experience for lower or no cost that i wouldn't otherwise take a punt on cos events are so expensive, or if not the event itself, the cost of refreshments inside. It's like shooting fish in a barrel not being allowed to take in your own refreshments. Travel and parking is so expensive too and a babysitter, so SFF is expanding my artist experiences, venue visits and social experiences in a very depressive economy it absolutely shines a light . I love it!!
And how great for the artists and venues to get new fans/customers.

A friend recommended SFF to me a number of years ago and I haven't looked back since. I've been lucky enough to see lots of shows and plays over the years and I'm very grateful to SFF for enabling me to do this. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Great ticket to an exceptional play. Very good seat. The play was harrowing and thought provoking about care of those with dementia. It was excellently acted- strong performances. Venue/ Young Vic near Southwark station. Good bar and reasonably priced food

We have enjoyed all shows and experience we have attended. Had some great local offerings and got to attend events we might have known about and great value for money😊. Great company and looking forward to our next show 👍

I am fairly new to SFF but have already made use of my membership four times - to attend very different events (three of them in venues new to me). Booking has been straightforward and available tickets have been for great seats. Excellent all round!
