Worst experience of buying a new home
We would most definitely not recommend buying a home from Shepherd Homes. Although they have sold the company to Galliford Try so hopefully things will improve under better management. They failed to competently manage the build process meaning that materials and contractors where poor and workmanship shoddy. 5weeks after moving in our house flooded and was entirely destroyed. They did not respond and took over a year to fully reinstate our home. They blamed us, fobbed us off, ignored us and argued with us over every aspect of putting the house back together. Customer care is shockingly inadequate. They don't return calls or emails and repairs they do eventually make are to a very low standard. I would never buy from them again in fact the experience has put me off buying a new build at all.
