I bought my car from Tom, he was very helpful and knowledgeable and i was pleased with the ease of purchase and fair part ex price.

Around 10 months ago I was experiencing a faint burning smell coming from the engine bay of my Fiesta. I took it along to Seniors to locate and resolve the problem.

I was informed it was a faulty gasket, and that the occasional drop of oil was dripping onto the exhaust resulting in the smell I had noticed.

Just recently, I had noticed that occasionally, after a run, there were a few drips of oil under the car that I had never experienced previously. I again took the car to Seniors to investigate and sort out for me. It had crossed my mind that the the two issues may have been connected, but I had no way of knowing if this was the case.

When I returned to collect my car, I was informed that they were concerning the same area, and the gasket needed to be re-sealed, but I was not charged a penny for this as it was in the same location. I was absolutely gob-smacked. I could have been charged for the repair and I would have been happily ignorant, but I wasn't.

Many of us who know nothing about the workings of a motor vehicle half expect to be overcharged for repair work. It is fantastic that Seniors proved and demonstrated their honesty and fairness. It is great to know of a company that can repair and maintain my vehicle that I can trust implicitly.

As I left, I said they had a customer for life, and I meant it!

Got my car from here last week. Christian was the guy i dealt with, he took all the horrible bits away like road tax etc, went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with everything, including a follow up call, to make sure everything was OK. Great service, i could buy again with confidence. Highly recommended.

Great experience, no pressure, relaxed approach. No movement on price but then again the car was very competitive when compared with others on Autotrader. The car was correctly prepared for collection. I would certainly recommend.

All ok with the collection of the golf GTi . Car is OK but not main dealer history which I would have expected as it is just over 3 years old. I did ask for the bonnet to be opened at the hand over and Andy opened the bonnet for me to inspect. When I got home I attempted to open the bonnet latch but it was loose and did not work. I have a bill for £150 to repair. I called Tom and he said the insurance would not look at the bill and Senior Cars could not make a contribution. Bit disappointing really.

Rung to enquire about what looked to be a very reasonable deal (Mini Coupe 2015 with 11,295 miles £8000). Spoke to Andy 1st time. I asked about it's service history which had not been listed on the website and was told that he would ring back. Didn't. I rang again. This time, spoke to Tom. Notes had been left to contact me with the information but not actually actioned. Information was shared and test drive booked for Sat 18/07 @1pm. As I was making a 220 mile round trip to see this car, I rung again to double check that it was worth making the journey, asking the question 'Is the bodywork in as good a condition as it appears to be in the photographs?' I was assured wholeheartedly that it was. Arrived just under an hour early to test drive appointment (travelling as far as we had, we had left sufficient time for any delays or problems) and was told that it hadn't been fully prepped (i.e. cleaned on the outside). The first thing I noticed was a scratch on the driver side door. Upon further inspection, this was one of several faults/imperfections (big deep scratch on boot; scuff on front bumper; dent in passenger side door, black stripe running down front of bonnet imperfect, amongst others). Absolutely NOT what I expected to see and incredibly disappointing. The speaker on the inside of the driver side door was also smashed. Were willing to fix problems (although was told couldn't do anything about the stripe on the bonnet as these were sold as packs and cost £100's). No negotiation on price whatsoever in light of these problems. Luckily we were test driving another mini coupe at another garage in Kettering - which could not have been more different. Car had been waxed and polished. Had a few more miles on it (24 450) but in much better condition and negotiations on price meant that I left a very happy customer.
COULD NOT recommend Senior Cars to anyone with a clear conscience. Very disappointed by the service and what I can only describe as false information given.

I have just purchased a car from Tom Parker at Senior Cars in Market Harborough. Tom went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the car that I purchased. He wasn’t pushy and really knowledgeable on the car. This really is a fantastic independent car dealership, that is 100% customer focused, they couldn’t do enough, which is so lovely and refreshing in an age where other dealerships are just about the sale.
