Upon entering the store we were immediately greeted by staff and offered assistance if we knew what we wanted or invited to browse if that was our intention. We explained what we were looking to buy and was then taken to the relevant product. The one on display (a sofa bed) was a little larger than we had room for, but the salesman said that the product came a little smaller and showed us this with the use of his tape measure which was better than trying to imagine it. The product was fully explained, shown how it worked and when we agreed we would like to purchase it followed on with the fabrics that were available and brought them to us, lying them over the product so you could see what it would look like.
The purchase was completed and ordered but my wife then saw another fabric on another product that she liked better, apologised to the salesman and ask if it could be changed. It could not be changed immediately but the salesman assured us that he would do it as soon as the system allowed. True to his word he did get it changed and sent us an email confirming this.
We found the whole experience very easy, there was no pressure from the salesman and we were treated in a very professional manner. Thank you Martin

Penny in the Thanet Store at Westwood Cross made buying our new sofa and chairs a friendly, fun, and helpful experience. The range of chairs and sofas was huge and to be able to have a really big choice of fabric for any of the ranges was a surprise. All staff were welcoming, not pushy at all, explained everything without jargon and were just lovely people. Penny was so patient with us when choosing the right fabric and with measurements etc. An all round great afternoon and purchase! Thank you for everything. Highly recommend this store.

Every part of the sofa journey from looking to buying in the Thanet shop to the delivery and aftercare has beeen really smooth and easy. I was kept informed all the way phones answered when I phoned.
Really helpful man in the store was not pushy but really helped me and also gave me space to think. It took me two visits to decide.

The delivery was so easy tracked where the kind men were, they phoned an hour away were polite and very respectful. They did not rush anything and explained everything.

Branch staff very helpful knowledgable and polite, ditto staff when I paid the balance. Delivery team kept me up to date with delivery times, polite pleasant , professional and respected my property.

Stewart and Reece sent a message early in the day, advising us of their approximate time of arrival, an hour before they arrived they telephoned us to say they would be arriving within an hour.
When they arrived they were polite, friendly and very efficient, and considerate to our flooring as they installed our sofas.

I had not bought a new suite in 20 years and was recommended by an agent at Guildcrest homes to go to SCS, as both my previous furniture suppliers are gone. Since Covid and Brexit I am a tad cynical about sales and promises but cannot fault the SCS process from 1st visit to Westwood Store to delivery.

As we walked into the store we were warmly greeted in a friendly way by the manager. The store was exceptionally clean and well laid out. There were plenty of employees all willing to help and advise. We were assisted by a charming young lady called Penny, who went out of her way to help us decide on which 3 piece suite, fabric and colour. All in all, a brilliant service and we would highly recommend a visit to the Thanet store. Well done and thank you so much.

Penny from the Thanet store was extremely knowledgeable and informed us of our options regarding sizes, colours and delivery times. She left us to look around and was there when needed. Was extremely pleased with her service and purchased a beautiful 3 piece suite.

We received excellent support in store. All communication was excellent and we were able to arrange a delivery date to suit ourselves. The delivery process was very smooth and the team who installed the furniture were excellent

The guys kept me informed of delivery date and time slot and provided a tracking link. They arrived on time and were smiling and ready to face the battle of getting a large sofa into a small-ish door. 10 out of 10 for execution. All completed speedily and without damaging anything.

I sent Vinnie and Simon off with a drink and a treat to nibble on the way to their next delivery. Fantastic service all round. Happy customer here 👍🏼

The delivery team called and said how long they will be.
Also the tracker is great.
When they arrived they reassured me it will all come in easily as I was worried.
They were both friendly and helpful which definitely helps

We ordered two sofas however due to a change in financial circumstances we had to cancel this order less than 24 hours after the order was placed. We was told this was no issue and we will be refunded within 3-5 days. It is 2 weeks later and after multiple phone calls chasing our refund up, we have been told they have refunded the wrong account, due to them putting the wrong details down. We are still waiting for our refund, and are being told we can't be promised our money back as they have already refunded it, however it has not gone to us! This is their error, however we are having no resolution with this. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Our order has been cancelled, we have not received the item, but we still have no money back, and no guarantee of getting this back. I would not like to think what the aftercare would be like if we were to have issues with the sofas, as we are getting passed around, no one seems to be able to do anything themselves.

Having waited months to take delivery of an arm chair, it arrived covered in the wrong fabric choice. Hours spent on online, emails, phone calls and regular visits to the Westwood store (who kindly and repeatedly chased this up on our behalf) and months later our correct order arrived. We received no apology or after sales courtesy call from SCS so once you've paid for your order, don't expect any customer service.
