Callum was so helpful and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions without hesitation, explaining the whole process of buying our new sofas , up to the point of delivery.

Walking into the shop, we were only planning to browse the item we thought we’d buy eventually. But the warm, welcoming atmosphere changed everything. The tote bag and the friendly staff who guided us straight to what we were looking for made the whole experience feel effortless.

The staff member who helped us was incredibly approachable, respectful, and even shared our sense of humour, which made the visit genuinely enjoyable. The product itself looked like great quality, and thanks to the overall experience, we ended up buying it on the spot.

SCS sent e mail and Text 2nd May
Delivery 17.30 to 18.30 3rd May
Call at 10.30 told delivery 11.30 to 12,30
Arrived 12.50
Then told it was not on the van
Drivers had not a clue
Took all delivery items off lorry onto over the roads drive so they could not get car off drive for 30 minutes
I drove to shop they said they could not help
Warehouse called me and said they had found settee
Delivered 2 hours later as the drivers had to go back and collect
Driver asked if he could charge phone on my electric bit of a check as he needed to take photo
To cap it all I reeived a copy of the delivery note by e mail and the delivery drivers had forged my signature as I had not signed the document or even seen it.
At the moment there are no issues with Settee But the delivery process a complete disaster would not use them again used Furniture Village last time and Suttons in Wickford both had no issues

We were left to look round at our leisure. A nice touch was a free bag with a bottle of water and tape measure
The staff really helped us to choose the furniture which was the most suitable

Delivered on the day stated , well packed , polite , put together nicely,

The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that my sofa arrived a week later than predicted.
When I rang my local store (Basildon) to check the progress, the staff were friendly and very helpful.
The deliver drivers were polite, efficient and early!

The man that served me was very helpful, as I hate shopping... I came in for 1 particular sofa and ended up buying a different one as he done all the thinking for me. I was in and out in about 15 mins ,great!

Left to look around the show room until we where ready to ask questions we wanted found sofa we liked and sales man gave us all the information we needed to make our decision no pressure no hassle

I have given 5 star for the customer service we received. Very personal and very informative. I won’t mark down but be aware of the lead times for delivery. We have been quoted 16 weeks, but we are prepared to accept this because of the quality of the product and service received

I purchased a sofa from SCS. Upon delivery the delivery crew scratched one of my doors multiple times and put a gouge in the wall. When I contacted SCS I was asked to give evidence. After giving evidence the claimed it was not their responsibility and that I needed to contact the upholsterer. I phoned SCS customer support who once again told me it wasn't their responsibility and that I should contact the delivery crew. I would never use SCS again as they lack accountability and clearly hire irresponsible contractors. Having researched online I have found information stating that as my contract is with SCS they are responsible for any damages to my home. I have found that they are difficult to contact regarding this matter as there is no email address linked to the website. If you phone you get shut down. I will be looking at taking this matter to citizens advise.
