Screen With Envy designs and manufactures stunning decorative garden screens, fences, gates and pergolas designed for UK weather conditions - our products are waterproof and require no ongoing painting or treating. I was looking for a product that I could use as a trellis that would look good with and without plants growing.
Found this product and due to the great price decided to give it a whirl.
The three panels were probably not envisaged being used how I have used them but with some spacers to hold them away from the wall the climbing plants I have chosen should look great in no time.
The panels themselves are very flexible (bendy), I don't know how well they would hold up to being used as fence panels but for my use, fixed at multiple points they are great

Thank you for the lovely 5* review. Your use is indeed one that many clients use to give space for the plants to train up and is a very clever solution.
Our 5mm screens are designed to be flexible and for cladding (or how you have used them!) but we do also manufacture in 16mm thickness which is what would be used for a fence / partitioning scenario.

Last purchases for a while but I will be back! …
I’ve made a few purchases this Spring from SWE and I’m sure they won’t be my last. I’ve returned to them because I loved my original screens I got years ago when they were under the previous management. Those screens have been well used over the years and so it’s been time to renew some of them. I have been so impressed by the whole process from ordering to delivery. All my orders have arrived within a couple of days and have been very well packaged and delivered with care. I’ve got my eye on a couple of the bigger 16mm screens for a future project this year and will be back.

5 stars! On packaging alone!! Great care has been taken to protect the items. I ordered 2 lots within 24 hours of each other, but luckily both orders arrived together.
Beautiful design. And once i have attached it to the wall( for Jasmine to grow up). I know it will last- unlike timber.

I thought the screens were metal , I'm not sure what they are made of, either mdf or similar, so not sure how long they will last outside

Thank you for your review of your recent purchase. We manufacture in WPC, which is a mix of recycled plastic, recycled wood and resins. The good news is that this material is waterproof and designed for outdoor use! It requires no ongoing maintenance or treatment.
We get many messages from clients when they re-order for new projects saying their screens from years ago still look exactly like new.

Cancelled my order within hours of placing it and cancelled it as per my consumer rights. The telephone number is cut when you dial it and the emails remain unanswered. I can’t recommend them. Be very careful - plenty of people have trouble with them when you look on the internet!

We dispatch hundreds of orders from our warehouse.
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to locate and hold an order due to the volume that we dispatch. It is also incredibly rare for someone to place an order and then decide within a few hours that they want to cancel it, and it's not something that our systems (or indeed the systems of many businesses) are set up to handle, especially when this happens at the weekend.
We try to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, and in this case the order was placed on a Saturday, and dispatched on the Monday morning. Delivery was then attempted on the Tuesday morning, which you refused. The screen is now being returned to us by FedEx. As we hope you can agree, most customers would be delighted if an order for an oversize item placed on a Saturday was delivered to them on Tuesday morning.
We take your feedback on board, and will look to see if our systems can be changed to deal with such scenarios while still focussing on dispatching orders as quickly as possible.
Since F H Brundle took over the Screen With Envy website in December 2025 you can see all of the verified reviews on this site. We are very proud that the overwhelming majority of verified reviews are 5*, which we believe provides a true representation of the service we provide.

Fantastic experience from start to…
Fantastic experience from start to finish. I had a couple of questions via email that were answered very promptly by friendly members of staff. An expired offer was honoured (even though they didn’t have to do this) and it was much appreciated! I ordered my screens on Tuesday morning and they were delivered and in place by Wednesday lunchtime. The screens look great, the service was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend or use again in the future - 11/10!
