Scotch & Soda's online stores are a fraud. They advertise items on sale that they don't even have in stock, only to get your credit card information. Then you don't receive anything and don't hear from them for weeks. When you contact them they tell you the items are sold out and that they can't refund the money to your credit card. I've had problems with them in several different countries. Someone needs to take this company to court!

Scotch and Soda pants are often a blend of cotton and elastane. The problem with the pants is not the cotton but elastane. This synthetic looks beautiful on first site but is a nightmare to take care of. Garments with elastane wrinkle with ease and removing them is extremely difficult. Traditional steam and iron techniques will fail because elastane cools differently than cotton. Also, the sythetic will pucker when ironing. Pressing the iron on the fabric offers little help. Avoid this product.

Artikel stond op de website op beschikbaar. 3 dagen na bestelling komt Scotch & Soda ineens met de annulering en melding dat het artikel niet op voorraad is. Zonder enige tegemoetkoming.

I bought from Scotch & Soda many pieces over the years... I haven't done much research into fibres. Now I realise all those pieces are often 100% polyester.
I always wondered why they smell so bad quickly and also found that the clothes never had a soft, nice, natural feel to them. Even though their designs are really cool.
Feels like a rip-off...

Ordered an item online, arrived quickly, great.

It was a size medium but what turned up could have easily been an XXXL, it was comical. Sent back to London shop by Royal Mail, waited, chased, told me they had a new returns platform, sent me a returns email notice, 2 weeks had gone by at this point. Chased again, very vague promises and nonchalant response, chased again, yes processing refund, chased again. At this point exactly a month has passed and I am still waiting for a refund. Will be going into London shop and demanding a refund.
I don't care how good your clothes may look Scotch and Soda, you have completely lost me as a lifetime customer. Dishonest organisation.

Je bestelt twee truien om vervolgens een bericht te krijgen dat je een refund krijgt, aangezien een trui niet op voorraad is. Vervolgens kijk je op de website, en daar staat die trui gewoon nog steeds te koop. Gevraagd om deze na te leveren, maar kreeg geen reactie. En ondertussen is de trui alsnog weg. Als goedmakertje krijg je een kortingsbon van 10%... Ik heb vaak iets gekocht als vaste klant bij S&S, maar ik overweeg om niet meer te shoppen daar.

De retour verzending kan alleen als je ook een printer hebt helaas.
De kosten waren zonder printer 7,95. Vervolgens kwam het pakketje niet terecht bij u maar op mijn adres.
Noodgedwongen heb ik het pakket moeten houden

Vest besteld, maar bij levering bleek 1 drukknoop los te zitten. Deze opnieuw bevestigd, maar helaas, knoop heeft kennelijk toch weer losgelaten en is nu zoek. Kwaliteit van deze drukknopen blinkt niet uit.

Ik kocht een Scotch & Soda Ralston via Bol.com in maat W33/L34, een model dat ik al jaren draag. Thuis bleek de broek maar liefst 5 cm korter dan elke andere Ralston in dezelfde maat die ik bezit; overduidelijk een productiefout.

Omdat Bol.com dit model niet meer verkoopt, wendde ik mij tot Scotch & Soda zelf. Helaas kreeg ik slechts een standaardantwoord: omdat de broek niet via hun eigen webshop gekocht is, kunnen ze niets betekenen. Geen empathie, geen inhoudelijke reactie op de fabricagefout, geen enkele bereidheid om mee te denken.

Juridisch begrijp ik het misschien nog, maar van een merk in dit prijssegment verwacht je meer dan een scriptmatige afwijzing. Het gaat hier niet om geld terug, maar om een correct product, iets wat je als klant normaal zou mogen verwachten.

Zonde, want het had met een beetje klantgerichtheid zo anders kunnen lopen.

Ik koop al heel lang Scotch en Soda maar er is iets gigantisch mis met de maatvoering. Ik ben al jaren een M, of 29/30 of 38. Maar nu passen zelfs de L korte broeken niet, allemaal veels te klein, de 30 is geen 30 enz enz. Wat is er ineens aan de hand, zijn we over op maten alleen voor mini mensen.... ik baal want ooit hadden jullie gewoon een normle gemiddeld mensen maatvoering, zoals het hoort.

Dit gaat niet om de al oude scotch en soda. Deze is namelijk failliet. Dit lijkt te gaan om scotchandsoda.eu wat zoals ik het zie oplichters zijn.

So disappointed. I’ve been a loyal Scotch customer for years now, and made a simple mistake of placing the wrong size shoe. In most cases, it’s no problem. As it was super late, I filled out the contact form immediately requesting to cancel the order. I received a reply this morning basically saying, “we’ll try, but there’s no guarantee”.

What!? It was literal minutes later that I tried cancelling the order. So I call customer service, and they tell me the shipping label was created, and that the item I ordered is non-returnable, and I’m stuck with these shoes that don’t fit.

The worst part is that I used my Club Soda points I had saved up for this purchase, and they didn’t even offer to return them to me.

The person I spoke to clearly didn’t care about my problem, why are you in customer service if you don’t care about making things right?

She also informed me that “they don’t cancel orders”, and it states that clearly on the website.

How interesting, because I had to go through every stupid link at the bottom of the site to find that information.

Trash experience, trash policy.

I admit it was my mistake, but to not make any kind of concession or help me in any way is egregious. Avoid this company.

Ik heb online een jas besteld, die binnen een week werd geleverd. Helaas bleek de kwaliteit tegen te vallen, dus besloot ik deze te retourneren. Scotch & Soda maakt het retourproces echter onnodig lastig, aangezien ze geen retourlabel voorzien. Hierdoor moest ik zelf €20 aan verzendkosten betalen om de jas naar hun magazijn in Nederland te sturen. Nu wacht ik op de terugbetaling.
