I tried to contact Shwalbe but to no avail. A waste of time and effort. I was looking to replace my worn ebike tyres which are marathon mondial Kevlar dd plus 47- 622 .. it seems no cycle shops stock them anymore.
I don’t think much of Shwalbe customer service.
Appalling.

Bin genervt von den Schwalbe-Schläuchen. Scheinbar gibt es hier nur noch eine sehr schlechte oder gar keine Qualitätskontrolle mehr. In unserer Familie sind alleine diesen Winter drei neue Schläuche nach wenigen Tagen mit defekten Ventilen wieder platt gewesen. Die Schläuche waren aus unterschiedlichen Serien, teilweise in Norddeutschland, teilweise in Süddeutschland gekauft. Kommt mir momentan nicht mehr aufs Rad.

Schwalbe war vielleicht vor Jahren mal gut. Aber jetzt hat die Qualität dieser Reifen m.E. stark nachgelassen.
Ich bin 2 Jahre den Reifen „Schwalbe Rapid Rob“ gefahren. Das Profil wurde dabei überdurchschnittlich in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Das hatte zur Folge, dass ich innerhalb von drei Tagen drei Reifenpannen hatte. Wahrscheinlich hat jede kleine Unebenheit auf der Fahrbahn diese Panne verursacht.
Ich bestellte mir daraufhin 2 neue Reifen über Rose Bikes. Leider musste ich diese prompt zurückschicken, weil die Seiten der Reifen total verzogen waren. Die Rose Bikes kannte diese Reklamation anstandslos an.
Es kann und darf nicht sein, dass die Artikel immer teurer werden, aber die Qualität immer schlechter wird.
Ich komme aus den neuen Bundesländern. Da muss ich sagen, dass mir so etwas zu DDR-Zeiten noch nicht passiert ist (3 Löcher an drei Tagen). Da wurde weniger „Trara“ gemacht, aber solider produziert.

Well, I've owned Marathon Plus 700x38c tyres for 15 years, and never had any problems with them.
In 2019 I purchase a replacement from a retailer and have done around 1,500 miles on these. They are still new, that they have the nobly bits on them.
In 2021 and 2022 I experience my first ever puncture, 2 thorns and 1 glass, quite small, I was surprise they got through the tyre.
Also these tyres were a nightmare to install on the rim, giving you piece of mind they would never come off.
However the new 2019 model was to easy to install.
Emailed Schwalbe UK, they responded as normal parsing the buck back to the retailer, for me to complain.
Well Schwalbe, very disappointed with your customer services. It would have costed you next to nothing in sending out a replacement for me to gain my confidence back, now you force this review to be published.

New tyres, inner tubes. All failed at every level. I thought they were a quality brand, but materials seem poor and have had problems. Disappointing

I love my schwalbe tires! They’re all I will run on my bikes because of their superior grip and durability. They really shine in Moab on sandstone and on loose over hard surfaces. I’ve also had a great experiences with their customer service.

schwalbe pro one tle hält die schwalbe dichtmilch nicht. vorderreifen scheint ok zu sein jedoch hinterreifen schwitzt ohne ende. Reifen hält keine 2 stunden auf einer Tour. Der Customer Support erklärt sich nicht bereit das zu prüfen

Hi, just saying, problems and problems again.
This brand doesn't offer the promised level.
No buy recommendation from my side.

Schwalbe Racing Ralph auf dem neu gekauften MTB bereits montiert gewesen. Drei Platten < 500 km, bei schwacher Belastung. Sprich eher viel Luft, Schotter, Straße, waldweg. Wenig bis keine Trails. Irgendwie noch verschmerzbar.

Problem allerdings: die wundervollen Mäntel kleben wie mit Sekundenkleber befestigt an der Felge. Auch nach dem Lösen, backen sie wieder fest. Hab sie zuletzt gar nicht mehr abbekommen. Sind dann zerrissen, weil ich sie mit der einer Zange entfernen musste und entsprechend wenig Auflagefläche hatte. Klebstoffe, Dichtmilch oder ähnliches wurden nicht verwendet, weil mit Schlauch genutzt.

Der Support hat irgendwas von ungünstiger Toleranzlage bei der Fertigung geschwafelt im Zusammenspiel mit der Felge. Ist klar, zufällig bei beiden Reifen auf dem Bike. Daher könnten sie mir nicht weiterhelfen.

Bin sehr enttäuscht, vom Produkt, wie auch vom Service bei Schwalbe. Ab jetzt Konkurrenzprodukte.

Ob aufm Downhiller, Enduro oder DailyBike, kein Reifen hat mich überzeugt. Platten ohne Ende, Stollen ausgebrochen und der Grip ist unterirdisch im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz. Definitiv nicht weiter zu empfehlen

Schwalbe Lugano tyres - very short life caused by premature casing failure. This has happened twice now. Recently after only 3 months. I would recommend Vittoria for long life.

Really disappointed by this company. They are supposed to be an established, powerful brand but they treat their customers with so poorly. I bought a new tyre which developed a fault. I was treated with suspicion and disdain by their team. I bought from a different brand to keep me on the road while they messed me around
I will never spend money with Schwalbe again.

Bike tyre catastrophically failed. After a short time. Because i couldn't prove where I bought it from and provide the original receipt, Schwalbe were not interested in the slightest. I will never be buying their products again.

Ich nutze die Schwalbe Marathon plus Mäntel für Fährräder. Die Qualität war zeitweise etwas schlechter. Die Oberfläche war nach nur 1 Jahr eben, also ohen Profil. Die neuen Mäntel jetzt vom gleichen Type sind wesentlich besser und haben nach 2 Jahren immer noch Profil. Trotz echt schlechten Wegen und vielen Dornen und kleinen Steinchen hatte ich nie einen sogenannten Platten. Im Gegensatz zu dem Produkt davor. Klare Kaufempfehlung (auch wenn es angeblich bessere gibt).

I am another hugely disappointed purchaser of the massively over-rated Schwalbe Marathon Plus.
My local area is very prone to punctures thanks to hawthorn hedge thorns and very poor road maintenance.
I've tried Continental Gatorskins - not too bad.
Schwalbe Marathon - also work a bit.
Schwalbe Marathon Plus - without a doubt the WORST tyre I have ever used for getting punctures. Relatively hard to fit and excessively puncture prone.

To test it was really the Plus and not pure bad luck, I switched between the different tyres on the same roads on successive days. EVERY time I had the PLUS I got at least one puncture, sometimes several; with the other tyres not nearly so bad.
I even tried using Slime inner tubes to "self-heal" the holes in the PLUS. Another complete waste of time and money. It "repaired" one puncture but only for about 2 hours.
I then added Kevlar tape to the inside of the non-PLUS tyre with an ordinary inner tube and have been puncture free for about 200km so far.

Rubbish. Went tubeless and puncture after puncture using up the sealant. Schwalbe Customer Service is an oxymoron as there is none. Disgusting approach to crap tyres.......or perhaps that's why.
Never use these.

Schwalbe marathon plus winter does not seem to hold such a high class because it is now the second time in two years where the studs puncture the inner tube. I trusted Rosebikes and bought my new tires this winter with the same bad results, puncture again.No more Schwalbe tires for my part

Schwalbe Snow Stud

I bought a pair of studded tyres in the UK for my mountain bike, I fitted them and only one would stay on the rim.

On closer inspection the wire rim was broken the supplier said they had so many complaints about these tyres and Schwalbe were not taking any notice of the supplier any more and referred me directly to Schwable.

I contacted Schwable and got no response what so ever.

From checking other reviews on line it seem this is a common occurrence.

I will avoid Schwable in future.

Eigentlich machen die tolle unglaublich pannensichere Fahrradreifen.
Jetzt habe ich einen Schwalbe Fahrradschlauch 700C gekauft, weil der angeblich besonders leicht ist. Laut Angabe auf der Packung wiegt er nur 65 g. Tatsächlich aber 78 g, also 20 % mehr! Solche unseriösen Verkaufstricks hat Schwalbe doch eigentlich nicht nötig, oder doch?
