Could not ask for any better first glass service from the sales team

I have been a customer for almost 30 years with the Epsom team. I have never been so disappointed and upset with customer service. My car has been in twice for a repair. First time in November it was collected. Brought back. Nothing had been done. 4/1/22 second attempt. I took car. Paid invoice. Looked at car. They ordered wrong part. Charged me for it and still the repair needed not done. I cannot recall how many times I haves called the service team to be told they can’t deal with it but ASSURE me someone will call me and sort out my refund of over £400. Guess what. I’m still waiting. I am taking car in for the third time on Saturday as I have been assured the correct part is there but no one is taking responsibility for my refund. Absolutely disgraceful Mercedes. This was 4/1/22. Is this how you treat your loyal customers?

Fantastic service from salesman Grant, very helpful and I received my new car earlier than expected.

Without going in to the detail suffice to say a mechanic at Sandown Mercedes Newbury conducted some unauthorised adjustments to the ECM on my C350 AMG Sport CDI Blue Efficiency. This led to a concern raised by myself with Sandown Management and clearly had the potential to escalate were the matter not handled with an appropriate response. Now some 3 months later after assessments and numerous effective communication between Sandown management and myself I am happy to say the matter is now satisfactorily resolved. I can unequivocally endorse the integrity of this company and recommend them to anyone who is considering purchase of a Mercedes Benz. The level of comittment to customer service and conflict resolution I encountered surpassed expectation and bore testament to why there are many reasons Mercedes Benz is beyond comparison, not least because their core values as a global brand are not just a mantra but are in reality reflected at every level of the customer experience. Sandown Mercedes, in particular Keith Jackman and his team proved my faith in Mercedes was well founded - Thank you for turning a difficult event into a pleasure, and for demonstrating Excellence in the manner I have come to expect when dealing with Mercedes Benz.

The whole experience of choosing and buying the car was 1st class. The salesman knew his product, answered all questions and made no fuss of a test drive. On the basis of this, I purchased the A250e. However, the administration of paying for the vehicle was not so seemless. First, perhaps because of Covid, the accounts person was working from home and did not have either a land line or a mobile number. She could only be contacted via email. I was only able to pay for the vehicle by two direct bank transfers and there was confusion at the accounts of whether or not the money had been received. The telephone contact with Sandown was also poor in that, if a member of staff is not contactable, the answeror of the call will then send them a email advising of the call. In my case, this did not work and I did not receive calls back from accounts, but did get calls back from Sales.

The admin weakness was disappointing and prevented me granting 5 stars. Should I purchase a further car from you, I would think twice about using you as I felt my custom was not respected by the accounts department.

Great experience. Knowledgeable and not pushy in the slightest. Very pleased with the whole experience of buying my car.

30/11 Have had no success on the phone, I will see if this gets a response....

I have made a purchase of a service contact (£2000) for a new vehicle I purchased from them, but they have failed to enable the contract. Due to this I had to pay for a service at another dealer whilst been told to speak with the garage in concern and ask them to enable it and claim back. So far 2 failed attempts with all the usual's - what you your name, what is the number plate, where did you buy the car from etc etc

2/12 I note you have responded to my review. I do not intend to repeat for a 3rd time what has been said already. You have my name and my details and await your call

13/12 - great to have a call from the MD apologising but not so great when after another 10 days there is absolutely silence. My details were again asked for and was told I would be updated with what is being put in place to rectify the issue. Somewhat rubbing salt into a wound.

Handover of vehicle was smooth with very helping service staff Grant and Johny. Took time and patience to demonstrate the operations of the vehicle.

Super service and highly professional. I was delighted with the deal achieved, was kept up to date throughout and the customer service experienced during and after purchase was excellent. What has really impressed is the desire to build an ongoing relationship, it hasn't just been about making a sale. Highly recommended.

Don’t know how they did it, but they managed to pull out of the hat a new car which no other dealer could. I was very happy with the part exchange price of my old vehicle. And the whole deal was made even more pleasing by the professional and personal expertise of the sales person Mr Robert Hewitt.
I have bought dozens of cars and dealt with dozens of salesmen over the years but Robert was the best.

Happy to get my new A180 last week . Very helpful sales team and painstaking guy to explain how the on board computer works to an idiot like me . Actually I'm not that daft , this is my fourth Merc in 22 years , they last .

My experience was excellent. Zaman Bux provided an excellent service and was not pushy in any way which made for a very pleasant experience. He was well informed and able to advise me on the car best suited to my needs. He made the whole process stress free and straightforward. I am very grateful and look forward to doing business with Sandown again in the future.
