Don't trust this company, they seem secure and reliable at face value but once you're locked in in a contract you are screwed. My partner who was joint on the account moved our belongings out of storage, told the manager Cole/Colby that we had moved everything out and that we were no longer storing anything. The manager then went "okay" without looking up and made a note, presumably on the account. Because my partner left a padlock on the door we have been charged £200 for storing NOTHING for a month, rather then doing their jobs and phoning or emailing to see if we were still storing anything after telling them we had moved everything out, in which case they could have removed the lock. Instead they said nothing and waited to make a quick penny from money we do not have spare. We phoned up once we saw the hole in our account and got told by BRUNO that 'if we didnt leave it unlocked how were (they) supposed to know it was empty'-maybe from us telling the manager and him seemingly writing on our account that it is empty??? He should have asked then and there if we had taken the padlock off but didn’t even look up to engage in conversation. Spoke to the manager again today (6/10/25) to be hung up on! We cant afford to eat this month now because of their negligence in communication. All because of a padlock that they could've easily emailed over or called over just to check.
