Almost Useless
Experienced the same frustration as Tudorken Pharmacy. It's very difficult to get through to the customer service department. And when you get through they are quite unhelpful. The system doesn't work without the internet and is very temperamental. They say it's the cheapest around. I am reminded of Benjamin Franklin's saying: "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten". If you're thinking of getting a new system for your pharmacy, this is one to avoid.

Great System After Initial Concerns!
Initially, I had my reservations about transitioning to this system, especially coming fresh out of a contract with Proscript. I even found myself regretting the move at first. However, after two years of using this system in our pharmacy, my perspective has completely changed.
I have come to appreciate its user-friendliness, which stands out significantly when compared to both Proscript and Titan, systems we utilise in our other stores. In fact, I now favor this system over the others.
One piece of advice I would offer to RXweb is to consider incorporating an RMS module, an area where Proscript currently excels.
Overall, I am very pleased with this system and encourage RXweb to maintain their excellent work. It has truly proven itself to be a great asset to our pharmacy and the price point is great compared to the competition, also its not reliant on a fast broadband connection like Titan!

They blame everything on windows updates and their engineers have rarely solved a problem for us over last 4 years we have been with them.

Good easy to use system but limited features
Good easy to use system, but, real danger of being left behind if innovation is actioned.
The basic dispensing modules are easy to use, but, there is no:
1. Clinical services module (e.g. recording NHS & private services etc)
2. Automated accuracy checking non-existent. Rx apparently say that this feature is coming soon, but they have said this for two years now.
I think RxWeb is a great system but is in danger of being out-dated very quickly.

Matches any other PMR hands down
We Hav been using Rxweb for several years and it works perfectly. Like all systems you do get the odd niggle but this is resolved very swiftly.
Rxweb integrates with our BD Vmax Robot and the blistering robot. We also use the bag tracker app and that’s fab too, saving us time.

RxWeb app functions well but there are a lot of issues that have been suggested and expedited in the past but nothing has happened. The list is long
1. The product database is out of date and shows discontinued products. For example: Paracetamol variants are far too many.
2. There should be a search button where we can add a new patients NHS number to download the patients details. This would save a lot of time.
3. In the bundle we are allowed 200 text messages per month which is inadequate. We have over 1000 patients using our services per month hence 200 texts are not enough. As a result of this we have to email them or better still phone each one to infrom them that their meds are ready.
4. Printer control on the labelling has always been poor and inconsistent. Sometimes, 2 labels are generated with no information on the 2nd label and data on the 1st label over-writes on the pharmacy address making the directions/warnings illegible.
5. Handling, "owings" are a pain. The software is poorly written where we click on the DRUG>OWING and select the patient which opens the whole original script. We then have to select the owing item again to process. It is very convaluted and time consuming.
5. Printing repeats for patients is where the control is lost. The font used is wrong and the wording needs to be amended.

A good, stable PMR
We have been using RxWeb for over 5 years now. Low cost is an obvious plus, but also the helpline is user-friendly with short wait times and friendly, knowledgable staff. Its also super-stable; the platform has been down for maybe 1-2 hours total in over 5 years (I honestly can't remember the last time it was down). I wish the care home functionality was better, but all PMRs inevitably have their pros & cons

I’ve been with them for 15 yrs and now I’ve moved 1 branch to another provider and they kick off. I only moved out of principal RxWeb lost me tens of thousands of pounds. Over promise under deliver!
Now they will lose all 16 contracts

Your best friend in pharmacy work.
I have started using Rxweb two weeks ago. From the start i found it easy to use and reliable. Today we had the pleasure to be visited by Mr. Danny Thiele, from Rxweb, and gave us all the nice tips and tricks on Rxweb's sleeve. I have to give him 10☆ for "pharmexplaining" to us all the features of the program. Thank you!
Old system stuck in the past.
We used rxweb for a long long time. We were one of their earliest users. At the time it was a great concept. Unfortunately in the 10 years we use the system it had zero development and bugs were never fixed or acknowledged.
Then it became increasingly unreliable with long outages and constant system issues causing us real problems as we were unable to work when the system went down.
In the end it became intolerable so we started to look elsewhere. Thankfully we found titanPMR a few years ago. Boy what a difference! A totally different world which made us realise that rxweb is nothing more than a glorified labelling machine. Pharmacy is evolving and our needs are much greater than what rxweb can support now. An old system which is no longer fit for purpose. Our new titan pmr system allows is to be safer, more productive, with less stress and happier patients. Don't waste time with rxweb. The future is elsewhere.

Excellent service and support
As well as the system being great, the support service is second to none and RxWeb have been great in adding new systems as our business has grown. The sales support and customer service support has been excellent. Rxweb feels like a partner instead of a supplier.
Rxweb does the job
I have been using Rxweb for over a year now. The Rxweb functionalities are user-friendly. And very cost-effective too! The support team is efficient- just send your queries via email and the response is near instant. If the query requires a remote support, at least a member of the Rxweb support team will call to help out.
More importantly, new upgrades and functionalities are being added to improve the customers' experience.
It's worth giving Rxweb a try.

I recently opened a pharmacy and one of my major concerns during the set up was of course, the PMR system. I was going to go for Pharmacy Manager, and then BOOM!, a friend recommended RxWeb. I asked, who and what is RxWeb???! I had never heard of the system.
So I went online to read reviews. The reviews were not really impressive. One website said it was like having pineapple on a pizza. You either hate it or you love it. I had my doubts.
I decided to send an enquiry anyway. And then, James Garland contacts me. If you own a pharmacy, you need a “James Garland” in your corner. He talked me through the system and convinced me of its reliability.
Fast forward, I am using RxWeb and I am sooooo happy I chose it. Coming from a pharmacy which used a PMR system (still using by the way) from the 1900’s, I feel like I am finally in a modern world with RxWeb.
The system is so easy to work with. Nothing is complicated and no unnecessary tabs like what I see with other PMR systems. It is fast, everything is fast. I just love how I no longer need to write up private prescriptions in the POM register. RxWeb does this for me. All I do is print.
The support you get? Absolutely FANTASTIC! I call or text James Garland and he responds in 2 mins. On Monday this week I got to work and I could not connect to the NHS spine. I called the support team and also sent a message to James. Within minutes, someone from IT rings me. Now the problem was NOT RxWeb. The problem was from my end. My computers had updated themselves the night before and messed up something. It was not really RxWeb’s issue, but the very friendly and knowledgeable IT engineer remotely sorted out my computers and even sent me instructions so I could fix it myself in case it happened again.
I am very pleased with this system, and I am very hard to please. So if you are still thinking about what PMR system to use, I hope this review helps.
Great product
Great product. Good customer support. Had for over 4 years and wouldn't go back to any other system. You are free to use own equipment. A lot of freedom.
Just recently upgraded computers and they were fantastic. We have looked at the competition but I must say whatever the others can do, RXweb are doing it anyway.
Fantastic PMR system
We have been with Rxweb for almost 5 years now. I have used most PMR systems on the market and I must say Rxweb is the best all-rounder system.
It is simple to use but very efficient and has some very useful functions. We have had new staff who have learned the system very quickly which saves time and money on training. It has all the relevant functions that are needed and are up to date with the current pharmacy models.
Over the years they have made all the relevant updates and changes and some functions such as batch token printing, colour coded patients, MAR sheets, exemption checker are all very useful and not available on some other PMR systems.
Looking at some of the reviews below I would disagree with 'useless tabs' and being 'slow' This is definitely not the case and on the contrary the system is fast!
Very competitively priced! Support desk is brilliant and answer very quickly and call you back if needed. Sales rep is fantastic and contracts are pretty straightforward with no hidden costs. I'm pretty sure you can shop around and you will find RXweb is definitively advantageous.

RxWeb is amazing for my pharmacy I just wish I’d have bought it years ago. The trainers have done an amazing job setting my pharmacy up and training all my team, it’s so easy to pick up and faster than my old system. It has everything I need and really simple to find anything.
I can work from home as well which is great and it’s a great system to use forget all these complicated systems slowing you down.
I cant recommend RxWeb enough.
