After a software update it wasn’t showing Qobuz connect in the menu, a quick call to Ruark who suggested a factory reset which did solve the problem, however I had to go through the installation process again
Once set up and the remote is fully charged and paired it’s fairly easy to use but would be so much easier and user friendly with an app.

I had issues with the CD transport in my Ruark R4 which I explained to Ruark. My R4 was well over ten years old and had always performed well. A member of the Ruark team responded swiftly and suggested I return my unit for attention. I was able to purchase a substantial transport carton from Ruark at a small cost and returned my R4 by Royal Mail. Less than a week later I received an email confirming repair completed. The cost, £132, was notified to me at the outset of my enquiry and no additional charges were added. Excellent, prompt, friendly support and service. This all helps to build confidence in a company which already produces very high quality products. Well done and thank you Ruark.
Speedy repair service
I have a much-loved R4 player but the eject button was playing up. Ruark were quick to respond and repair the player and it's great to have it back, playing physical CDs.
Lifesavers
My Ruark R4i suddenly had no sound across all the sources. I contacted Ruark and they organised despatch of my unit to their workshop. Within 2 days of me sending it to them they informed me it was now in full working order and ready for return. Absolutely brilliant customer service!!
The very best products and service.
The display on my R1 had failed, so I contacted Ruark by email to ask if there was any way of resetting it. They suggested I try clicking one of the buttons repeatedly. That didn’t work, so they asked me to return the radio for an out-of warranty repair. I bought a packing box from them and returned it by DPD. Precisely one week later, the radio was returned. It had been fully serviced and looked absolutely like new.
The whole exercise (including packing and transport) cost me around £105, which was certainly worth it to have by beloved R1 back in pristine condition.
Ruark, your products are great and your service is the very best. Huge thanks to you.

I have had my R4
I have had my R4, MK1 for over fourteen years! There has been no issues since purchase until two weeks ago when a corrupted CD would not play. When inserting a new CD the CD drive would not work. I contacted Ruark who advised that it could be fixed and gave an approximate quote for repair. One week later received email confirming it has been repaired, and cost only £9 more than originally quoted. Have paid. Very impressed that a: given the unit's age it could be repaired, b: the speed of repair, and c: the relatively cheap price.

The display on one of my 10-year old R4 Mk3 had started to fail and since contacting Ruark their response and service has been exemplary. They received the unit from me on Friday 16th May and today, 22 May, I received a mail to say that the unit had been repaied and is on the way back to me.

In need of repair
I recently had a need to return an older style Music system to Ruark for a repair . I fully expected them to tell me that it was not repairable owing to the age of the unit. But no , after emailing them with the problem I had they talked me through the whole procedure on how to pack it and return it to them . And told me from the start how much a repair would cost . The music system has been repaired and returned to me complete with details of what work was done on the unit . Happy with the charge and happy with the service . If the time comes when i might need to buy a new system I would not hesitate in going back to Ruark Great service .

Have had ten years great listening from my R2. On the couple of occasions I've experienced an issue ( as a result of operator malfunction rather than the machine) I was able to call Ruark & get advice to resolve the problem. Proper old fashioned customer service at the end of the phone, top marks!

Superb and efficient after-sales service!
Our much loved 15-year-old Ruark R1 mk2 radio suddenly became unusable with awful feedback and interference. Before replacing it with a new model, we contacted Ruark via their website to see if it could be repaired. They replied the following morning and arranged for us to send it to them. Within a week the radio had been fully serviced, faulty parts replaced and returned to us ‘good as new’. Great communications, swift action and all-round excellent after-sales service!

Excellent repair and restoration of my Ruark Audio R4 to full working order, and the Ruark customer service was 2nd to none! My unit needed repair after many years of use as well as moving house. Ruark's technical team came highly recommended and proved well-deserved. Their service combined personal attention to the detail of my enquiry, efficiency and professionalism in every respect.
