My experience with this firm has unfortunately been disappointing.
Updated Review
My initial experience with RTMF had left me disappointed regarding communication and my understanding of the scope of their role as company secretary to our RTM company.
I am a leaseholder and member of an RTM company covering a residential development of 67 flats. I had previously contacted RTMF asking for important correspondence concerning the affairs of our RTM company to be retained on the company record. When my initial email was not acknowledged, I became concerned about the level of engagement available to individual RTM members.
Following a further exchange of correspondence, however, RTMF has today ( 14th August 2026)provided me with a detailed explanation of its role.
They clarified that their responsibilities include providing the registered office, maintaining the statutory registers of members, directors and secretaries, retaining minutes and resolutions supplied by the company, and preparing and filing the relevant statutory documents. They also explained the distinction between statutory company records and general correspondence concerning the day-to-day management of the building.
Importantly, RTMF confirmed that my recent correspondence will be retained on their own file and forwarded to the RTM directors.
I also sought clarification regarding whether RTMF would provide the same company-secretarial assistance if RTM members were in future to submit a valid Section 303 requisition concerning the appointment or removal of directors. RTMF confirmed that they would deal with the statutory procedure in the same way as they had previously.
Although I would have preferred this clarification at the outset, I appreciate that RTMF ultimately took the time to provide a detailed response and clarify its position.
I therefore consider it fair to update my original review to reflect their response and the clarification I have now received.
