I have a friend who loves rt.com and keep telling me conspiracy theories coming from this website. Most of the headlines are indeed accurate, but a proof checking of the details show that rt.com cites plenty of wrong, unproven or modified sources, so that the USA always look bad. I am tired of checking everything, just to learn that their articles are rubbish

I used to watch RT for the alternative point of view. But honestly sometimes they are very biased. I can personally judge based on how they broadcast a conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

20% of Azerbaijan territory has been occupied by Armenia for 30 years and this has been confirmed by several UN resolutions! Not a single country in the world, including Armenia itself, has recognized Nagorno Karabakh as an independent country!
War is war and it does not justify anybody. But RT mainly reports the facts favorable to the Armenian side.

Enjoyed reading to get a different point of view than Western media but not anymore. Even if you do not break any rules in your comment RT will just delete it if it doesn’t like it. They attack Facebook for censorship but they censor things themselves, talk about hypocrisy. On their “Hostilities break out between Armenia and Azerbaijan” article I replied some people that Turkey is involved by recruiting Syrian mercenaries and sending them to the border, which was not mentioned in the article, but every time I would mention even just Turkey the comment would be deleted. Shame! Nothing but a totalitarian machine.

They are very good and allow commenting which is unheard of here in Australia since we have very strong censorship and "hate speech" rules stifling free speech. However rt has turned into every other publication that allows only leftwing people to be offensive with connotations and not insults. Sadly RT hires israeli censors just like facebook. Google it.

I have always been impressed with RT for giving out information from both sides of any political argument. These days not so much any more. Plus they recently vanished the comment section on their articles for some reason.

I have followed RT for years for alternate global news, but it has changed drastically in their foreign policy. May as well watch US local media.

I enjoyed reading RT's different take on all sorts of topics,liked being a part of,exchanging views with the other readers...No longer! RT has become a futile endeavour in trying to communicate,a frustrating migraine headache since it engaged Spot.IM to censor its comments.So much for free speech.RT has become the biggest hypocrite! :-/

RT puts to shame for-profit corporate media. While Western media, especially American and British outfits, are mouthpieces for the plutocracy and the deep-state apparatuses, RT publishes their dirty laundry so the reader can judge for him- or herself. RT is the nemesis of gringo-jingos. Hurrah for RT and the progressive Russian Federation!

Having said that, their policy of keeping comments by readers squeaky clean (no harsh language and the such) borders on outright censorship. Let the people have their say. Otherwise, RT is no better than plutocrat-controlled media. In this regard, RT rates ZERO stars.

Messed up website. Late May 2020 and the bots have totally taken over, with huge posts of literally meaningless babble that the admin seems to ignore or be unaware of. Impossible to post anything, let alone read other posts, because they delete everything. When my post about vegetables seedlings growing poorly beside my router was marked for deletion, I left and will NEVER return. Easy enough to find a better news site than this stinker.

Honest news, you will not find reported elsewhere. Brave, plain speaking.

As state news goes, RT is pretty obvious in its complete and utter bias when reporting. It has zero impartiality and basically takes a giant dump on anything that doesn't represent the Russian nation's political goals.

The comment section makes the website even more hilarious. It is filled to the brim with racists, antisemites, flat earthers, and other idiotic types. This can be seen by reading any story that relates to US foreign policy where comments usually come in the form of "the US are shills of the jews comments", space discovery stories where comments usually say "its all fake, the science is false and that the earth is actually flat" and the middle east where comments always hate on anything Israel related etc.
Additionally, RT actively shadowbans and deletes any comments it doesn't like or that don't follow its narrative. This may sound like a conspiracy but simply using TOR to check if a comment appears when posted clearly shows the shadowban policy it has.

RT has zero credibility and should be avoided at all costs. It is no better than the likes of the Guardian, Daily Mail, Fox news, CNN etc

RT is accurate most of the time ,RT is also very biased toward Russia. RT is also very easy to accuse America. It would be nice to have he news company that would be unbiased and just give it the way it is. No country is right all the time, No country is wrong all the time. Russia is not as innocent as RT comes across as.

RT has always totally ignored Indian atrocities in Kashmir. There is a curfew there and hundreds have died during this almost 40 days of curfew. I believe RT must remain unbiased in covering human rights abuses that Indian government is committing there.

Breath of fresh air. tells the truth unlike mainstream channels, hence the fine from OFCOM who don't like truth.

I appreciate working for this company. As a software developer, they provide almost all social expenses for their employees. Wouldn't like to leave it.
