Really surprised at how I’m being treated as an altruistic kidney donor. It’s like they don’t want it. Ranges from being ignored over months about basic questions to be given 1hr appointment on a Frid... Zobacz więcej

Opthalmology (Strabismus) Dept.
RFH REJECTED TO PUBLISH MY REVIEWS ON THEIR WEBSITE.
RE: Opthalmology (Strabismus) Dept, Royal Free Hospital, pond street.
Dates of botox injection 11 January 2023 and 01 February 2023.
On 11 January 2023, Dr Saurabh Jain injected something else than Botox (it felt like opposite of Botox as the eye muscle was pulling in the opposite direction) in my left eye to correct my very tiny squint. On 11-13 Jan 2023 I experienced increasing discomfort which I have never experienced before. Then on the 14 January 2023 I got extreme and unbearable pain all on the left side: eye pain, scalp nerve pain, back of head nerve pain, neck pain, temple nerve pain, behind ear nerve pain and my left eye even became more extremely squinted than prior to Botox. I wrote to him on the 14 January 2023 showing photos of my left eye showing much more worse squint and also going down to which he had replied that was how it was supposed to do. I have been seeing him for over 20 years and we both know this is not how it was supposed to do. Instead it was supposed to correct the squint. Mr Jain also gave me another Botox
3 weeks later on 01 February 2023 when he punctured my left eye and still not correcting my squint. After making the complaint no one investigated or treated me at RFH pond street. They even rejected my posting a review on their website. I am hoping that they fully investigate my complaint by responding to my each emails and also investigate Mr Jain's conduct and the fact that he never mentioned to my GP in his letter of my extreme and unbearable eye and nerve pain. On the other hand Dr Hancox of moorfields mentioned my nerve pain in her very first referral letter on 10 March 2023 so I can get treated for my pain. Dr Jain and RFH complaint dept completely had ignored to make a referral for my pain.
On 10 March 2023 Dr Hancox of moorfields corrected my squint with a single dose of Botox which I had felt it was real Botox.
PS: Generally I needed a Botox once every five years. Having a Botox 3 weeks apart and still not working should ring an alarm bell to the complaints department of RFH. But they didn't even attempt to investigate. To-date I still have nerve pains and cannot sleep on my left side but I tend to and I keep waking up in the middle of the night with pain. I never had this pain before the injection.
Zero communication
welcoming, respectful, reassuring and communicative, this was written on the ward 9 West and above my Dad's bay, he said it was the biggest insult ever. No welcome, didn't even acknowledge us when we came, didn't answer the phone, actually hung up or shouted to just call his mobile, no reassurance (he way dying but that didnt matter to them) and communication... it didn't exist, tried to complain but nothing even to pals. Our experience could have helped to improve to benefit another but they don't even want to try.
Not a hospital I would want to be ill in
Friend in intensive care on life support. Nurses more interested in staff breaks than finding out what a consultant thought and decided on rounds then no rush to read patie t notes, not that consultants write them up promptly enough. It is only a matter of time before this way of working kills so.eone, if it has not done so already
I cant give 0.
I cant give 0.. They use ill person as specimen for their experimental drugs.. They take the data.. For study.. Better for a person die peacefully than use their drugs as its more harmful...
On 1 st sept I went into the Royal Free…
On 1 st sept I went into the Royal Free PITU department to have my first infusion of Infliximab an immunosuppressive drug which leaves you very very vulnerable to infection . It is protocol and very important to be monitored every 30 mins for any reaction whilst being infused as a serious reaction can lead to death. The monitoring is key and simple and if any signs show of a reaction the infusion should be stopped or slowed right down and dr called immediately. In my case non of this was done until after 2 hrs I demanded to see a dr as my heart rate was going up excessively and I was feeling very unwell. Eventually a young dr came along not a rheumatologist, that is the dr that should have come and she had to go off for advice.By 5.30 the department was closing, there were no drs and two nurses took me downstairs off my oxygen in a wheelchair to The Royal Free A and E where the nurse in charge was abusive towards me and the nurses. I believe they have put their own complaint in. He was saying I was their responsibility and they needed to take care of me. The nurse tried to explain that their department was now closed and couldn’t. I had been told whilst still in PITU I could have a pulmonary aneurism and neede a ct scan ( blood clot ) !!!I was taken into a filthy dirty bay, bay 10 with no sanitising wipes and made to lie on a filthy trolley and people were coming in and out with no masks, some with no gloves taking bloods and monitoring my heart. I am disabled and can’t walk snd begged for a pillow as I was in so much pain and was refused one because they only have them on the wards. When I struggled to the one and only properly functioning toilet on sticks it was filthy. I was told a rheumatologist would see me sat 2 nd sept but that I probably had an allergic reaction which is in fact misdiagnose. I have since found that out privately. On Sat morning I was told there where no rheumatologists so I couldn’t be seen. Within 48 hrs of getting out of A and E I was very ill and as I had private medicine I sure went to a private hospital, where I now, because of their filthy dirty unhygienic conditions and just having had my immune system crashed tested positive for covid. I’ve never had it before because I’m very careful and literally don’t mix or go out and can’t have the vaccine as I’m allergic to that. All of this they knew in A and E and took no precautions. Even though I was struggling to breath last Wed in hospital I cancelled further pitu appointments snd asked them to cancel my clinic appoint due on the 8 th sept which was an important review previously booked in. This morning to add insult to injury I get a letter saying you didn’t turn up for your appointment at rheumatologist come in April next year!!That is the level of care!!!I’ve tried calling the department that is permanently on answering machine and tells you to go to A and E if unwell I have reported the matter to PALS which is permanently on answering machine. This hospital is a disgrace uncaring filthy and broken and the management should be ashamed of themselves.,I am not letting this matter go even though I am struggling to breath struggling with covid struggling now with a lung infection struggling to survive. If people don’t bring management to accountability they will just keep getting g away with it . Steer well clear if this hospital

The worst hospital in London
The worst hospital in London, I had a broken arm but they didn't have a specialist doctor, the nurse treated me, the nurse was taking help from Google to treat me, I waited for more than 4 hours for my turn, do not visit this hospital under any circumstances, The reception is very rude and has mental problems, all the people who work in this hospital need a psychiatrist
Complaint
I have been receiving treatment from the hand therapy team for a torn tendon.
Whilst appreciating their expertise, I have some serious concerns about attitudes met which I have raised as a formal complaint .
Complaints are investigated by the hand therapy team itself with no accountability or independence. I have repeatedly asked for someone outside this dept to look at the issues and this has been ignored.
The complaints procedure here is not fit for purpose

Made an online complaint as my wife was diagnosed with the wrong type of cancer. After waiting months there has not been any response to my complaint or explanation to say that we were wrong to complain etc.
