Great communication with the store and quick delivery. Would buy again.

Great prices on my BD HF Hybrid 16cm quickdraws and bargainous DMM Shadow HMS Screwgates. All dispatched same day and here in 2 days (Scottish Highlands). All in time for a weekend climb. What more could you ask for?

Online ordered equipment arrived in 2 days. All as written on the tin. Happy. Thanks.

We both got really good advice. The man brought out 30 pairs of climbing shoes and we got the ones that fitted best. He also gave 2 free t shirts, finger tape and a chalk bag for free.

My order was mixed up with someone else’s, I had ordered climbing shoes and opened my delivery to a totally different brand, size, and gender of shoes. When calling, there was no apology from Callum, just a casual statement that this kind of thing can often happen, which I find hard to believe from a business that deems itself to be reputable and operating for decades.

On requesting a refund immediately, I was told to wait until the shoes in my possession are sent to their rightful owner (I am now responsible for sending these) and then await my original order to make its way from the unknown recipient back to the store. I find this completely unacceptable and the service I have received has been very passive and not worthy of any future custom.

Very dissatisfied with my whole experience with this store.

I wish I lived nearer to this shop! In my hunt for mountaineering boots Nick has been absolutely amazing. He has great knowledge of how each type of boot fits and has gone above and beyond in his mission to find a pair of boots that fit my tricky feet. The shop has a really wide range of boots and the best prices I could find.

Good price and fast delivery. Shoes didn’t fit so I rang up and got some very helpful advice from Callum resulting in me going down by half a Euro size (not a choice always available) and switching from Velcro to laces. Easy process to pay the difference and very happy with the new pair. My only regret is no longer living locally as I think visiting them would be a valuable opportunity to get advice and fitting.

Had a shoe trying on appointment with Callum there, tried on virtually every shoe and Callum knew all there was to know about each shoe and how they might fit, he was bang on with each pair and his recommendations. 100% buy from here again. 5 Stars

Incredible quick service and very good prices. Item ordered yesterday and arrived this morning, and free postage cos I bought something else, even though total was only about £50. Have been to the Milnthorpe shop too a few years ago to get son a sleeping bag. (and remember it well from the old Ambleside days back in the late 80s)

I spoke to Nick (several times!) to get his advice on light weight camping gear. He gave me excellent hands-on advice leading me to buy a good number of products from them. It’s great to deal with a company that can offer their time and advice so freely, they truly deserved my business

Recently ordered a carabiner from Rock + Run. It arrived super quickly, the packaging was great and the product was perfect. I highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from them again.

Ordered shoes they were too small, sent them back and got a refund quick easy and efficient!

Attempted to order from the EU as all EU webstores were out of stock of the item and size I was after. I chose Rock+Run due to ther simple NonUK code to prevent double payment of taxes, and because I had had no issue previously when ordering from them.

Errors in import tax/ duty caclulation, which were primarily due to currency confusions and between seller and delivery company, and the delays caused in attempting to resolve the issue meant I ended up needing to cancel the order due to external time pressures.

Throughout the whole order process, in particular the with the import issues, the communication and responsefulness of Rock+Run staff was examplary. I really could not fault anything from them.

As such, I would highly recommend Rock+Run. You will always be in excellent hands shopping with them.

I had been waiting ages for Scarpa Instinct S to come back in stock in my size, along with ordering a new harness. I spoke to a lovely lady called Lucy who helped my pick out a new harness as the one I'm currently using I've had for 14 years, is very old and well used. After looking at lots of Petzl and BD ones. I managed to bring it down to one choice.

She was a delight to chat to and helped with all questions I had. (Which was a lot)

Once the order was through I received my shoes and harness within 24hrs!?

In 2023 they don't offer free returns... Ordered three pairs of climbing shoes to try out different sizes, and stupidly gave for granted they'd have a free or cheap return option, as all websites do nowadays. It cost me £30 to return them due to cost of insuring their value. With all other online stores out there, offering great deals AND free returns, I definitely will never buy from them again.

Great service, even in Twixmas. I needed a UK stockist for my favourite Darn Tough running socks and they were the cheapest that had my size in stock.

Got one size too small a shoe, sent it back and received a replacement in 2 days. Rapid!
