What a little gem this company is. Super helpful when I was dithering about which watch to choose from the ones listed online, nothing was too much trouble. Polite, friendly, helpful and made sure I was happy with my purchases! A special shout out to Steph, fantastic service. 👏
Oh, and they arrived beautifully packaged as well.
Next time I am looking for jewellery or watches they will be my first choice

Overall great service. Only thing for me that needs to improve is the communication once you have purchased the watch online. I know it was due to arrive on 23rd Dec but had no emails or text messages with a link to the tracking as to confirm it’s due delivery time and that it was in fact on its way.

I have made a number of purchases in the Ipswich branch over the last few years. Fantastic service and knowledgable staff really helps to make the customer experience really enjoyable. Sean was as helpful as ever with my most recent purchase. Great customer service from a 1st class sales team.

I had been let down with a Tag Heuer watch I was purchasing from elsewhere however I found it on line at Robert Gatward in Abingdon. I was contacted 10mins later by email, but then called asked if I could have it posted to me and that was sorted straight away next day delivery. It was too tight so I called them and asked if I could go in to have a link added this was again sorted straight away and also on the day I went in to the shop. Great service, quick and efficient nothing was too much trouble for anyone there - and the watch was in the sale!!

An excellent experience buying a ring as a gift. The ring size I needed wasn’t available but Jeanene and the team at the Windsor store were most helpful in sourcing it ready for the birthday date which I had given them. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent. Myself and the family will definitely be buying from this store again! We hope to see you all again soon!

Following email correspondence and invitation, arranged an appointment to register for a new watch. However after wasting 2 hours of my time visiting their Windsor store was informed that I was unable to register my interest to purchase the watch (as confirmed on email) as when available it would be retained for one of their loyal customers.
No other alternatives, options or solutions mentioned or discussed.
No interest in new customers.
Both myself and my son felt totally humiliated and discriminated against.
Surely a case of discrimination of the highest order.
Unacceptable arrogance, that should not be tolerated.

We visited Robert Gatward Jewellers in Windsor whilst we were away for a weekend to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We were served by Eszter Nagy and she could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We were shown a selection of ruby and diamond rings and Eszter was very patient and informative whilst we compared the rings. She gave us all the details regarding the different ruby and diamond stones and golds and I soon had a favourite! We went away to think about it and returned for my favourite ring. It was a very happy and rewarding purchase and everything was wrapped beautifully, including a lovely bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary!! We couldn't have had a better service and indeed, nicer person to serve us. Would definitely recommend this shop.

Increasing rare to find the professional level of service offered by the team at Robert Gatward Windsor. Many thanks to Jeanene for her help in purchasing a fantastic watch for an anniversary present for my wife, despite visiting late in the day nothing was a problem and the Windsor store should all be proud of service they provide. Just purchased a Rolex watch from Robert Gatward's Ipswich store and found it a very pleasant experience. Dealt with several different people who were all helpful, friendly and responsive.

We visited Robert Gatward in Windsor this morning and were "hosted" by Eszter. She was welcoming, very knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Oh yes, we parted company with a significant amount of money (!!) but worth every penny for the smile on our daughter's face and with excellent customer service. Our sincere thanks and I hope to be back for my diamond ring soon!!

Visited the Abingdon store enquiring about diamond earrings for my 21st birthday. I was nervous as it was my first time visiting a jewellers on my own, however i was made to feel EXTREMELY welcome, particularly by Karen who served me. She explained the grades and sizes of diamonds and presented me with multiple options. The friendly atmosphere made me feel at ease, would 100% recommend to anyone.

You only really know what great service is when something doesn’t quite go to plan. When my husband ordered a ring for my 50 th birthday, the wrong one arrived. The team at Robert Gatward all worked hard to make sure that the right one came in, we were kept up to date with what was going on and they moved heaven and earth to get it in in time for my birthday. It arrived on the day, they called me the day before to tell me it was coming in and on the day when it arrived, also wishing me a happy birthday! They have all been very kind, they are always friendly and professional and going in there is always a pleasure. Thank you to the team at Robert Gatward x

I visited the Abingdon shop on Saturday to get a replacement watch strap. I was told that it would take an hour to fit “due to having to sterilise” the item. It was 4.15pm. The shop was shutting at 5pm, so I was told I could pick my watch up on Tuesday.
There were no other customers, so not a massive queue of people needing new watch straps. I left the shop, went to another jewellers who were able to fit a new strap in a few minutes without any fuss.
Glad I could support another local business.

We went to this shop to exchange a Clogau ring which I had bought for my fiance. OUTSIDE THIS SHOP THERE IS A LARGE SIGN N THE SHOP SAYING CLOGAU
We explained we had bought the ring online but I had got the wrong size. The assistant Eszter Nagy as well as the manager assured us that although we had bought it on line they would simply exchange it for us SO we travelled 78 miles today to the store with the ring to be exchanged.
Despite a hostile reception from the rude lady on the door we went in and produced the ring they promised to swap.
HOWEVER
they then insisted that we produce their receipt, claimed my ID was not known and refused point blank to swap the ring at all, despite assurances that they would. We explained we had driven 78 miles especially because they assured us they would swap it, but it was a NO.
RUDE INCOMPETANT STAFF, AND IT SEEMS THEY LIE TO CUSTOMERS ALSO, PROVED IN OUR CASE.
Avoid this place , there are a lot more decent shops with good customer service out there.

In the last 9 months we have made 5 purchases from Robert Gatward Ipswich (I keep making the mistake of bringing my wife with me haha) and with each visit I have come away so impressed, both with the products and the service, Sean is incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, with this visit they didn't have what I wanted at Ipswich so the owner picked one up from their Windsor shop and brought it to Ipswich, now that's what you call good old fashioned service, thanks Sean, Lee (the new guy) and the team
