For many years I have tried to create my own ice packs (home made sleeves made from pillow cases to hold them in place!) for my shins and tibia's in particular, and finally these are a superb product to do the job properly!
Really great product - love the cool box they come with, and the fact that you can do heat or ice is excellent. I am mostly using them for ice now, and they're great for putting straight on post run while you continue your normal routine. Excellent, and the quality is very high.
They seem a pretty big fit, so although I wouldn't say I have particularly skinny legs, I am using the Small which seemed odd when ordering (I am 6'2 and 100kg!) but it's definitely the right fit, so stick with their measure guide - don't second guess it! :-)

I honestly can't tell you how much of a difference this product has made to my lifestyle!
Before I ordered the Riixo calf cuff, I was trying to get into a running routine but was halted by pretty unbearable pain in my calf. I tried everything - stretching, etc but nothing seemed to really ease the discomfort so I was only able to run twice a week (maximum).
Now that I'm in the routine of using the cuff, I can run 4 times a week, without nursing almost constant discomfort. That's twice as many runs as I was doing before! I live a busy lifestyle so I didn't have time to hold an ice pack on my leg, whilst trying to get on with work, etc. With the Riixo cuff, I can wear it as I work and it doesn't affect my mobility at all. I can't recommend the product enough and would encourage anyone with calf problems to give it a whirl.

Since taking up running a number of years ago I've had a number of injuries to both calves. Mainly strains and the odd tear but disruptive to training especially towards the main event when training mileage builds up. I had been using combinations of hot water bottles and frozen peas, which were reasonably effective so when I discovered Riixo I was intrigued by the combination of both, plus the compression. I found that since using Riixo my recovery from long runs has been much improved because I've been able to warm my calves up first putting the cuff in the microwave and then when I've got back the cuff has frozen in the freezer. The compression too has made a huge difference and Riixo helped me to complete a gruelling endurance race having inured myself on weeks before the event. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to anyone.
