Made it easy to get good quotes for conveyancing and survey. We did get bombarded with calls and emails afterwards but that isn't reallymove's fault imo.

Completed the survey and got ONE quote!
Completed the survey as I’m just about to put the house on the market and got ONE quote, I thought it was a scam site until I read other reviews on here. Nonetheless one quote for a comparison service is practically useless. The recommended company had a 4 out of 5 rating based on 6 anecdotal reviews and sent a text and two emails instantly touting their business and I expect they’ll ring at some point too. Won’t be using that site again.

Certification
I found that the first 3 quotes were from reputable companies with all the certifications that are required. However, we did get a few calls from other companies that didnt appear to have the same or if they did then it wasnt mentioned in their paperwork.

Great platform but shame the prices shown are only to get you in the door and then the conveyancer adds the extras on.

Whilst we try and make our quotations as accurate as possible, some matters can be more complex than others and therefore, they can only be accurately quoted on a case-by-case basis after a direct conversation with the conveyancer. It is therefore not always possible for our system to take into consideration all aspects of your requirements at the stage of quotation which can result in the slight inaccuracy of quotes.
We are however checking in with our partners on a regular basis, to ensure that the fees represented on our site are as up to date as possible.
We are also committed to improving our quote forms so that they can gather the most accurate information possible.

Could have been better…
First of all Dominic was brilliant. He was pleasant very helpful. The driver (not sure if his name) was very negative from the beginning, talking about van weight and lifting items, health and safety issues before any work was done.Bear in mind we were lifting empty wardrobes and beds. The heaviest items were the mattresses. On arriving at the new property, we were told he couldn’t manoeuvre the van closer to the house because of a tight bend even thought we thought there was plenty of room and previously other vehicles with trailers have managed it. So we had to carry everything further than necessary. Before anything was moved into the new house, the driver asked for the balance, I told him my wife had the money but for some reason he didn’t ask her, so 5 minutes standing around waiting .Also the guys didn’t have any over shoes and we have just had new carpets fitted, so were concerned about getting them dirty.My wife mentioned the top post on the landing had been knocked and there is some paint chipped off some of the bedroom furniture.To improve the rating I feel your driver needs management in communication and understanding that from a customer’s perspective moving home is a very stressful and emotional experience and he needs to adopt a more positive and have a ‘can do attitude’, not a ‘cannot do attitude’ and I’m sure it would result in a more positive and pleasant experience for all.
