Had an awful experience a few months back trying to return items bevause they arrived later than stated, even though the customer servcie team gried to argue this, but luckily I could prove they were wrong. The items also had that horrible fishy odour, when something been vacuum packed for a long time. As the items were expensive, I didn't feel I got my monies worth.

I had to put up a fight to get only some of my money back, but I never got the full amount. As with others, I had to oay retun fees st my own expense to a chinese address. The item never made it's way back and depsite proof of return, again I didn't get much money back. I ended up going through royal mail to recover some of the money.

I wrote a few bad reviews and also received threatening emails, trying to blackmail me to remove the bad reviews I've left previously, unfortunately for them I refused and reported them to trading standards at the time

This is a warning to boycott this company, unless you want to be robbed of your money. Terrible customer service, terrible company. Shouldn't be allowed to keep trading!

I ordered a UK size 12 dress from queendancer.co.uk on 18 October 2025 for an important event, paying £104.38. The dress arrived on 5 November 2025, but to my shock, it was not as described and completely the wrong size.
I immediately contacted the seller, sent photos, and explained the issue. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, I was offered three unacceptable options:
1. Keep the wrong dress and get only £9 back,
2. Receive a £65 coupon to reorder, or
3. Return the item to the United States at my own expense for “inspection.”
This is unreasonable and violates UK consumer law, which states that when a seller sends a faulty or incorrect item, they must cover the cost of return and provide a full refund.
I requested a UK return address to facilitate my refund, but the seller refused and continues to insist I pay international postage for their mistake. The lack of accountability, empathy, and professionalism has been shocking.
I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from this site. My experience has been stressful, disappointing, and expensive. The product was not as described, and the customer service was dismissive and unhelpful.
I am now pursuing a refund through a formal dispute, as the seller has been completely unreasonable.

Dress was not the color advertised and did not fit. I was told by Emily, their correspondent to take the dress in more natural lighting, and it looks better when worn. I can't wear it if it doesn't fit, and it is stark white not ivory!

Customers are often only motivated to take the time to write 1 star reviews because they want to warn other customers which is what I'm here to do.

Consistent with many of the other customers, I highly recommend not purchasing from this company for two main reasons: their returns policy is 100% not honoured (you will not get your money back and you'll waste a ton of time and money trying), and their customer service is appalling. Here's what's happened to me...

I purchased a dress that took longer than their quoted delivery time to arrive. Eventually it did arrive but there was no longer enough time for me to get alterations so I requested to return it as i wouldn't be able to use it for my wedding. I made this request within their short 7 work day return period. The returns policy is well written to meet UK law but not honoured. Despite meeting all of their eligibility criteria, after multiple emails back and forth they offered me either a £8 credit and to keep the dress (dress cost me £95 so this was laughable), or to get a credit which I did not want given how much I didn't trust the company or products. I pushed for a full refund which they eventually agreed and said I needed mail it into the manufacturer in China, tracked (costing me an additional £25), and send photos of the package and tracking number. Still...the package was refused at customs for "insufficient documentation" which made no sense, and it was returned to me 5 months later. I emailed them now 3 times over 10 days, contacted their customer service directly on the site, and they've still not responded. I am without a refund and it actually cost me more money and time then if I'd pursued a refund at all due to the tracking cost. Do no purchase to begin with.

It's clear they're playing the long game expecting customers to give up on their refund requests. They are extremely untrustworthy. If you read how they respond to the 1 star reviews, it's a fairly consistent (AI generated) style of communication they've maintained throughout my interactions, all talk, no action when all they need to do is issue the refund. Because they don't, it reflects the company' greed, poor finaical health and strategy to have the cashflow and foresight to reserve funds for customer refunds which is a necessity for doing business.

To close, until this company can sort out it's business model, it lacks integrity and I would call for it to be shut down.

This is a cheap Chinese factory making cheap clothes. Do not be mislead by the UK website. They use a UK domain but are based in China.
They will not accept returns after 7 days. I contacted the EU Consumer Center.

Under EU law, when you buy a product online, you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days without giving any reason. This period starts from the day you receive the goods. So they should accept returns. They do not reply to emails you have to keep resending.

Avoid like the plague!! Average quality, Over-priced, and avoid refunding customers.

Purchased a dress for £65 which wasn’t too bad but not really worth that price. Unfortunately the dress was too big and had to return it. Contacted them for a return and refund which has turned out to be a tricky process. First, they offered I keep the dress and they’ll refund me £6 🤯 ! Obviously I rejected, then they offered me a refund of £18 or a coupon. As I have no desire to do business with them again I have no need for a coupon.

I’ve had to raise a dispute with my bank. The dress they sent was in tatters, loose threads everywhere. They refuse to offer a full refund. Please avoid. They will scam you too.

Be warned, they will do everything they can to avoid refunded you. Ahipping policy states the customer is responsible for return charges and no shipping charges will be returned. No where does it state you can only return to USA or china, despite advertising as a UK company. £43 out of pocket for returning the items and even if your order is late, they still wont refund you. I've also been threatened with blackmail, by threatening to post the email threads. Which is a breach in datat protection laws and blackmail is also illegal. I've also now been blocked from replying to the agent. Funny that. I've contacted my bank and trading standards, as this company is basically a scam and conning you out of money. Despite all the refunds, I paid just over £45 and then £43 for for return postage. So I've basically paid £88 for items of poor quality and that I didn't even keep. Disgrace, as inbmy previous emails, I've reported this company to trading standards and also contacted my bank to see how they can help

Ordered a dress for my daughter’s prom before reading the reviews and then super regretted our actions. The tracking information didn’t give any reassurance, took a long time and apparently came from China.
When the dress arrived it was so much better quality and appearance than expected. Made exactly to the measurements we gave. Cannot fault the dress or the quality for the price paid. Would definitely recommend as long as you have time and patience on your side.

Ordered a dress for my daughter's prom an to be fair it came in less then 3 weeks. It was however too big. Started returns process for a £112 dress, to be offered £10 refund and keep the dress, when I said no, they offered £30 refund and keep the dress. I asked for return and full refund to be told their address which is China which would of cost me a fortune. So needless to say I have taken £30 refund and now have an upset daughter and have to see if I can find someone awesome to try and alter it

I placed an order (WBQDUK9744) on the 01/03/2025 and it was fulfilled and dispatched on the 10/03/2025. Tracking information was provided, which was pretty useless as it still hasn't updated with any info, in spite of the order being delivered by Yodel today (20/03/2025). The quality of the dress is amazing and the dress itself is as beautiful as the pictures on the website! The dress was a velvet, one shoulder, olive bridesmaid dress. The material is thick and lined and my daughter looks amazing in it! We took her measurements before ordering, and while the fit is pretty good, I will be getting it taken in an inch or so, just to make it 'perfect'. I was worried about the negative reviews (which I stupidly didn't read until after I placed the order), but overall, my experience has been excellent. The tracking information/updates need some improvement but the dress arrived in good time and was of good quality, and that is what's more important in my opinion!

It was such a scam. I ordered a dress for more than £100-120 and they never delivered or sent me my money back. I tried many times to contact them but they never replied.

Where is my dress?? I have emailed without any response. Your website says 3-5 days for processing and my order placed 10 days ago!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company is a scam and legal action should be taken against them. I ordered a size 12 dress and received size 10. When I requested a refund I was told that it's a correct size they just attached a wrong label (as if). I measured myself before and after receiving a dress and I am compatible with size 12 but could not fit in this dress which is clearly size 10. When I requested for a refund I was offered a 5£ refund (dress price was 70£) and if I choose to return not only I would not receive the shipping fee I paid but would also have to pay for the return shipment even though it was their fault. Also, dress was of horrible quality.

Should be a 0 rating . I wish I had read other trust pilot reviews first . They advertise as a UK based company and it turns out they are Chinese . The dress doesn’t fit so I have asked for a refund as per refund policy , but it got turned down with an offer of a £5 voucher for a dress worth £50 plus nearly £20 shipping costs. I hope this review can help others to stay away from this company .

Awful quality. Looks nothing like the pictures on the website. They promised a refund that they were not able to give.

The reviews on the website for the dress were good but upon further inspection seems like these are largely fake reviews.

I would give this company no stars if it was possible. I ordered a dress from them for a ball and when it arrived it had glitter falling off it everywhere from the second it came out the bag and had strange proportions in the chest area so the dress was no good even if it wasn’t shedding. This company advertises as a UK company and you don’t find out they’re actually a Chinese company until you start getting shipping information, they will NOT refund you and when you return it they will claim they can’t find your parcel and won’t allow you to speak to anyone to get anywhere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Oh I wish I had read reviews. I have been scammed. A dress was received very ooor quality falling apart sequins glued on. Bad fit. They won’t refund you. £138 wasted on something she cannot wear. I will report to stop them trading in the UK. Do not order from them you will not receive the dress in the picture.
