I would strongly recommend to avoid buying from this place . After placing order and paying there was no information about delivery , no way possible of contacting them. Email, no answer as well as phone. So I involved my bank Barclay to get the payment back . Not sure if this had an effect , but then certainly after 4 month the package arrived , I had spend more than 100 £. Extremely disappointing, not reliable at all , myself missed all the timings for the gifts I had planned. At least I would expect an answer to my email or general information about delays , but nothing !!! regards Walter

Really really angry, with this company, as the most of the reviews.
I've placed my order on 21st February, and after 3 emails after, they continue ignoring me.
They have my money and no answer.
It's not a good company.
Shame on them.

Ashamed to say I didn't check reviews before ordering. Order placed weeks ago and although this company has my money they haven't dispatched any yarn or responded to any correspondence. DO NOT ORDER
Edit ... sent email to request refund and inform I was contacting trading standards, two days later yarn arrived, still had no contact from purple linda though.

I placed an order for wool for my wife's birthday, I contacted Linda by email and asked if she knew how long it would be before the order was to be dispatched. Linda emailed me the next day to say the wool had been posted. I received the wool the very next day, four days after ordering. Wow what a service, excellent product just as I ordered. I will definitely be using this company again. Many thanks.

Very disappointed having placed an order on 7 February, money taken on 8 February - and still not received anything - no updates and no reply to my 3 emails. Hope they might still send the order?!?! Can’t recommend Purple Linda Crafts much as I’d like to as they have a great website - but I won’t be ordering from them again.

Just received my wool- was ordered on January 25th. Was pleased to receive it after a long wait. No communication was received about delays in orders. Would be useful to at least put the possibilities of delays on the web site- save worry. Reasonable price for wool that I struggled to find on other sites and well packaged.

I ordered wool from this company and was told it would take between 3 to 10 days to be delivered. Being stuck at home I was looking forward to starting my knitting project as I find it a relaxing hobby. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before ordering which was obviously a mistake. I looked up the address on google and find it is a semi detached bungalow which does not fill me with confidence. I am now deciding if I would be better ordering from a reputable company and give up waiting and hoping that I receive my order from this person. I shall of course send a report to Inverness Trading Standards in the hope that they can look into this person and put a stop to others losing money and being disappointed.
A day after posting this review I am happy to say I received an email to confirm my order had been dispatched and the following day the goods arrived. If communications had been better I wouldn't have needed to worry and write this review. For goods and prices five stars but for communication one star.

Do not use this website! I placed an order beginning of February had no wool so on a few emails back to her and no reply I read a few reviews which I wished I read before placing the order. I have had my money back, luckily through my bank.

As with all the reviews on here im in the same boat....i have recieved nothing from this person after 3 weeks of waiting...Three emails sent but not one reply...This person should not be trading....i shall now contact my bank and send her a legal letter...
Disgusting service...avoid this company!!!

I, like most others here wish I’d read reviews before ordering. Placed a £65 order on 27th January 2021 and after the initial confirmation email heard and received nothing despite numerous emails I sent without reply. After going through all the reviews and seeing the same situation for most customers I thought I’d give it a bit more time as some people are receiving orders in the end and finally today my order arrived! I think this lady is overwhelmed with her business and can’t keep up but doesn’t answer any messages so is leaving her customers up in the air as regards to their orders, unfortunately won’t order again as wouldn’t take the chance (even though have the feeling she gets round to it in the end). If she had responded to my messages and at least let me know what was going on I would have waited and could understand but this has just left me stressing that I’d lost the money and was being ignored!! Those waiting for orders have hope! You might be one of the lucky ones....eventually.

What is going on with this purple linda ? ? Does anybody actually receive any goods , no reply from my email !!! No wool but money taken !! Any suggestions as how to best sort this ???

Same as most other customers. Wish I’d read reviews before ordering. Placed order 12.2.21 and not received, no reply to email. I’ll try and get a refund but I’m not hopeful. They really shouldn’t be trading as it’s just theft.

I wish I’d read trust pilot before ordering.
I placed on order two weeks ago. Have sent several emails including details of my order but I’m not getting any response whatsoever.
I’m going to have to contact my bank to get my money back.

Following on from my 2 previous reviews: on the evening of Thursday 25/02 I received an email from this company to say the order I returned 6 weeks ago had been refunded. Today (Sat 27/02) my money has been credited to my account.
I don't know whether this is Linda catching up, as no explanation has been given for the delay, or whether it was as a result of me reporting the company to Trading Standards or my credit card company. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope after all. Good Luck to those of you who feel "scammed".

Received my order, but incorrect. Have emailed 3 times in last fortnight and still no reply! Now I have wool I didn’t order and don’t want and not got what I paid to have. Customer service is non existent. Do not use. Many better online suppliers.

I ordered at beginning of Feb, and not received my order yet. I've emailed, but had no reply. The telephone number does not work. I really don't know what to do now.

They sent the wrong colour yarn and then didnt reply to messages

My order came today!! I ordered some wool mid January then read all these reviews and regretted it. I was like everyone else on here I had no reply to email contact but then realise i give the wrong email address oops and then the website got pulled. I thought my wool and money was lost forever, just thought I’d give some hope to others. You may get your wool yet

I have had the same experience. Ordered 31st Jan money taken immediately and not heard anything since despite emailing twice . I’ve used this company before over the years and have always received my order even though a little late . I’m wondering whether they are selling items without them actually being in stock . They do have a wide range compared to some sites but an email out of courtesy would be nice if the order is delayed - as yet no sign of my order and no replies to my emails.

Initially I was worried about all the negative reviews I read about Purplelindacraft after placing my order but I am extremely pleased with the service I received.
I placed an order on 4th February, received an email on 19th February to say order had been dispatched and received the order in full on 22nd February.
When I placed the order it stated on their website (and many other craft supplier websites) that orders would take longer than normal due to high demand during lockdown. Also at the time of the order Scotland was experiencing extreme snowfall. Under the circumstances I found the turnaround time acceptable.
I would order again from this company and hope that all the people who gave negative reviews have received their orders.
