Brilliant from start to finish
Brilliant from start to finish! So much communication, free samples and they added on an extra bathroom vanity unit top at a weeks notice once I realised we needed something for a really good price. Also we initially couldn't afford an upstand for the kitchen as it meant we would need another slab (due to the size), I was sad about this but realised the limitations of our budget! However, on the fitting day, the lovely men who were fitting offered to give me an upstand for free as they just so happened to have a spare in the van that wasn't being used. Customer service like this is what really sets them apart - we're over the moon with our new worktops!!!

A Brilliant Company
Where do I start with this fantastic company. I was visited by Laura initially and I had a sense that this company was very professional after she ran through the process from start to finish of how the fitting would take place. She kept in touch through the whole of the procedure and helped when I was uncertain about choosing sink and taps. All of her workmen were very polite and professional. Aran the fitter was particularly helpful and made sure I was happy with everything from start to finish. I am absolutely delighted with my new work tops and I would recommend them very highly.

Dreadful experience left with a faulty worktop that cost thousands
My Quartz worktop was highly polished when fitted. When this shiny surface wore off I saw a deep scratch over 5cm long, and emailed for this to be resolved. I was accused of being responsible for this scratch. Which was shocking.
After several emails requesting a refund or replacement the scratch was filled. During that appointment I asked for a replacement, as I had not bought a faulty product.
I received AI generated emails from Laura, I repeatedly asked for this issue to be raised as a complaint and for a refund or replacement. I contacted my credit card company for support and Purple Granite disputed this.
I would advise that no one pays in advance or signs off the paperwork until the polish has worn off and you see the worktop it’s actual state. Prepare to be very disappointed.

We’re sorry to read your review, but we must respectfully clarify the facts.
Your worktops were installed and inspected by you on 19th February, and you signed off confirming everything was finished to your satisfaction. Our team took photographs at the time of fitting clearly showing no damage present.
You contacted us over two weeks later, on 7th March, reporting a scratch. Although this was not present at installation, we still arranged a professional repair as a goodwill gesture.
You then demanded a full replacement, which we declined, as this was damage not caused during fitting. You were also offered the chance to view the original images directly on our fitter’s phone, which you refused—choosing instead to accuse us of editing them, which of course did not happen.
Your suggestion that the surface “wore off” is inaccurate. Quartz worktops do not have a polish that wears away—the surface you see is the actual surface of the stone itself. Any marks or damage that appear later are typically from external causes, not product fault.
You raised a claim with your credit card provider. When a claim is raised by the consumer, the money is immediately and automatically reclaimed from the company, with the bias being in favour of the consumer. After a full and robust investigation, they found Purple not liable in any aspect of your claim.
We understand that damage can occur after installation and we always aim to help, but we will not accept false claims or accusations of dishonesty. We acted professionally throughout and stand by the quality of our work.
Couldn’t have gone smoother
I have just had our worktops completed by two of your team and can I just say from start to finish from when I first emailed for a quote, and dealt with one of your employees, Laura Davies she was an absolute asset to your company answered every single question I had and showed me in the right direction. And from then every single step has been so straightforward I’ve been kept in contact with the right people all the way through. It’s all been so fast and efficient. I am so pleased with our worktops. Thank you so much for providing such a great service. I would definitely recommend your company to anybody that is looking for affordable quartz and amazing customer service, I promise it wasn’t just the takeaway voucher that swayed me 🤣😉

We have been absolutely blown away by purple granite. From the very beginning the customer service was amazing. Laura was so helpful in recommending the right worktop for us and made the whole decision process very easy.
We even had the opportunity to visit on site to see the worktop before it was cut which was a really positive experience.
Then there’s the price, after being quoted a ridiculous amount from a kitchen outlet. We were shocked at the difference, surely that meant the quality wouldn’t hold up though?
Having now had the worktops fitted I can confirm the quality is top notch, we are so happy with the end result and glad we decided to go with purple granite for this.
The measuring and fitting was so straightforward and the team were really friendly and professional, the finish is truly seamless.
We will highly recommend purple granite.

Terry and Oscar did an excellent job as fitters. They were polite and skilled to achieve a lovely looking new kitchen for me.
The reason I haven't given 5* is because there are really silly errors which happens with this company.
Firstly, they send far TOO MANY emails asking to confirm details in the processing stage, which I'd previously confirmed twice.
Secondly, they're lacking the basic and most simple of details such as changing the fitter twice. Hence I gave the electrician the wrong name to contact about a hob issue. Then there was not loading the correct sized upstands for the job. So the fitter had to leave the job the go and get them rectified. WHY would the product not be check-listed with the order as it's being loaded on the fitters van??? This could've created a logistical scheduling problem for me if i didn't live just a 30 minute round trip away from the depot. I have been assured by Eve that these basic errors will be looked into.
It's a shame such frustrating and unnecessary errors like this occur because the company has such fantastic qualities, such as the price, quality of the product and friendliness of the staff.
Irrespective of the above, I would wholeheartedly recommend Purple Granite as i think that they are well above the competition in this field.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you found our communications frustrating. Our intention at each stage is simply to ensure clients are fully informed and aware of what’s happening. We genuinely appreciate that you’ve taken the time to read through everything — you’d be surprised how many clients don’t, and then feel disappointed when things don’t go as expected.
We aim to make the process as smooth as possible, as it really is a collaboration and requires good communication from both sides.
Regarding the fitter’s name, I understand the confusion. We try to provide fitting slot details as early as possible the day before, but as you can appreciate, we often have clients altering time slots or fitting dates at the last minute, which means we have to shuffle the diary around late in the day. That said, we’ll look into whether it might be better to hold off on confirming the fitter’s name until the morning of the appointment to avoid any further confusion.
The upstand issue is, of course, not acceptable. They unfortunately slipped through at 100mm high instead of the correct 40mm, and I’m very sorry for that. However, as you noted in your review, the fitters returned to the factory, had them cut down, and brought them straight back out to complete the fit. This has already been raised with the quality control team this morning to make sure nothing like this slips through again.

Fabulous team and experience!
Purple granite have been fabulous from start to finish. Laura spent lots of time with us finding the right quartz. There was a slight design change needed at templating, but Laura found a way to get around it.
The quartz is beautiful, we chose denali and would really recommend for anyone wanting a really subtle vein.
Our fitter Huw was brilliant! The join has been done to perfection. We are really impressed and would highly recommend!

Love our worktops
Love our worktops, really competitive price much cheaper than Wren and Wickes. They were really patient with us because we paid our deposit and didn’t gave it templated until roughly 8 months later. Fitting went smoothly and it looks amazing would highly recommend. Also thank you to Judith in the Worcester shop she’s fabulous.

Very poor customer service
The first initial meeting was a pleasant experience however that was the only positive, as the rest of the customer service we received was very poor. Information about our order was not passed on correctly which we were told was partly our fault as we should have checked and chased. They threatened to cancel the job because they forgot to take payment. They forgot to send the chopping, they then sent the wrong chopping board. They said they will only rectify this mistake when another customer orders the same material, to date we have not heard from them and I don't ever see this materialising. We would not recommend this company.

Firstly, I’d like to address the matter of the chopping board. This was not an item you were charged for, and we can only provide one if it is possible to cut it from your selected stone. In this instance, that was not feasible, so we sent a close-matching alternative as a gesture of goodwill. However, I completely understand your disappointment, and as a further goodwill gesture, I would be happy to arrange for two chopping boards to be sent to you.
Regarding the concerns about payment, I appreciate this was a frustrating situation. The request to apply for finance was received the day before your installation date, which unfortunately did not leave enough time to process and approve the application without delaying your installation. While we always do our best to accommodate customer requests, finance applications do require prior arrangement to ensure a smooth process.
I regret that your experience did not meet expectations, as we take pride in our service. Your initial consultation was a positive one, and we would have liked to carry that through the entire process. We value open communication and would like the opportunity to resolve any remaining concerns you may have.
Five star experience all around!
Fantastic service from start to finish! Rich, the templater, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made the whole templating process smooth. The fitters, Huw and his colleague, did an incredible job - the workmanship is brilliant, and our quartz worktops look stunning. They took the time to explain the aftercare and the whole process thoroughly which we really appreciated. The office team were also great, we had to change a few things and they were always happy to help! I honestly can’t fault anything and would highly recommend Purple Granite to our friends and family.

step by step communication needed
Fantastic until it came to fitting the sink. No one told me that the plumbing needed to be removed or the existing structure around the sink needed to be altered to accommodate the new one prior to the fitters arrival. Luckily my friend in the village was able to deal with these now urgent issues. Communication is wonderful when it works. The worktops look really good. Fitters worked very hard and efficiently.

I’m sorry for any misunderstanding regarding the sink preparation. As discussed with Victoria when you placed the order, our scope of work included removing the existing worktops but did not cover plumbing alterations, as you opted not to include this service. We assumed that, since you were handling this aspect yourself, you were aware of the necessary preparation required. However, we will certainly take this on board to improve our communication moving forward.
