i PLACED AN ORDER LAST WEEK, payment was taken, Following day was told the item was out of stock and it was not shown as such on the advert for it in error, so payment would be refunded. I have not yet checked my bank statement. That is not good.

I ordered certain items from Prowler…
I ordered certain items from Prowler online for the first time since lockdown. Usually I shop in the flagship on Old Compton Street or the Brighton branch. Everything arrived as described and packed perfectly. The only slight niggle was the underwear. I ordered M but S would have been a better fit. But there we are.

Check expiration dates
Ordered a few things from them and it all arrived pretty quickly and discreetly. All I will say is, if you’re ordering perishables, such as lube, make sure you check the expiration date on the bottle (not something I thought I’d have to do with lube). Ordered a bottle of spunk hybrid lube on 04/02/21 and when I used it, the lube started to dry out and clump up rather quickly. Never used this brand before so didn’t know if it’s just a poor product but I just noticed that the expiration date had passed as it was dated end of January 2021. So I was sent an already expired bottle of lube. I don’t know what the usual expiration period is for lube but potentially this could have been an old batch they hadn’t shifted/checked.

Great Communication & Fast Service
Considering I placed my order during full lockdown in the middle of a pandemic, I was more than happy. There was a slight problem with one of the items I ordered being out of stock, but the communication was fast and efficient. The rest of my order was sent out while I chose an alternative item and that followed on a day later. All the products I ordered were great quality and the prices seemed good too. 5 star service!
What seemed likely to be a terrible choice, turned into a great experience. Not so much for the product, which, alas, didn’t meet the expectations I had. However, the customer service was simply outstanding! The staff was very understanding and helpful. They took care of the issue ( a delay in the delivery due to the increased workload during the Christmas period) and fixed it promptly. I will certainly buy from them again in the future.
