Protyre contacted me after my experience and had resolved the issue that I had experienced below.

I brought my car for an MOT and was told it would take 45 minutes. I was approached by an engineer who told me I had a lot of things wrong in my car. He went away and came back stating they had been repaired. He then came back again apologetic that he could not out my window up. Then the man who checked me in said I had dropped my car in that condition right in front of the shop, which I had not done. I have used Protyre for many years and know I need to park at the rear, which I did. He was arguing that i had not done this. He then said I had been called, by the name Mrs Singh, and apparently it was her car which had all these issues. My car had passed the MOT an hour ago, and they had not told me. They kept me waiting for over an hour, telling me about a car which wasn’t even mine!
This is absolutely dreadful, and I am not happy with this standard of service. The technician who approached me did not even ask my name and assumed I was another client.
I am having serious doubts about recommending anyone to your company.

Turned up nursing a slow puncture with no spare mid afternoon. Damage was inspected and new tyre fitted all within 40 minutes.

Simple booking process on line..Reception area invited. Staff explained in detail what was needed to be done and how long it will take..That job was completed in good time.All good service..

I went to the Slough branch because I know I will get good service, advice and not be ripped off.
I wanted advice on good quality, heavy duty replacement battery for my car.
After a very short wait i saw 1 of the staff who referred me to the very helpful manager. He arrivedd very quickly.
I asked for his advice and he identified a battery that would suit my needs and at a comparatively low price.
I was happy with his recommendation and asked if it could be fitted while I waited.
Despite a temporary staff shortage he managed to find me an engineer to fit it there and then.
It took a reasonable 3/4 hr. to do which I think was great.
I will return again when I need their services for my and my wife's car.
If I was not tied into a Service contract with main dealer, I would certainly consider having our cars serviced there too.
It is great to be able to speak to knowledgeable and friendly people and see the motor engineers at work.
No more talking to main dealer third party receptionists that are remote from hidden engineers / workshops and that charge £100's for the honour of just looking at it.
