The guys at Protyre Newbury were so lovely to me when I arrived a little shaken up from being stranded on the motorway. They were kind and considerate and got me on my way quickly! Highly recommend

Quick fit - battery replacement.
Called on the off chance. Very helpful person on reception. Checked battery and as I expected found it dead! As it was a quick job to fix, slotted me in as soon as a small gap appeared.

I needed tyres to be fitted after…
I needed tyres to be fitted after getting a puncture when leaving home. I checked round Newbury and found these were in stock and ready to be fitted same day and was able to book the car in very easily.
The service from the staff was very good and professional. Would go back as and when i need new tyres.

Tyre and suspension check
I booked my wife's Renault Clio in for inspection of tyres, suspension, steering and alignment triggered by the awful potholes in our local area. This was carried out very efficiently and resulted in the fitting of a new rear tyre and realignment. We were very pleased with the service we received.

STAY CLEAR
Do not, under any circumstances use this company. They steal, lie and talk to their customers like absolutely s*** and will over charge horrendously if you've got a pair of tits. I won't even go into detail about the money laundering.
The manager thinks he can try intimidate women when confronted about stealing, police report to follow.
Just save your money and do elsewhere
Not long ago the manager crashed a customer's car, driving uninsured and without a licence so I suggest you stay clear. Dodgy company and even worse staff.

Excellent service - recommend
After having some not so great experiences at other nearby Protyre branches (one forgot to balance tyres, the other scratched my car), I was reluctant to go back and usually use Merityre - who I also recommend - but since they don't have a branch in Newbury and I needed somewhere local, I decided to go give this a try.
Protyre offered 2 premium tyres and tracking at a very competitive price, and thankfully the Newbury branch was a much better experience - really helpful guys in there. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.
