Our business went into liquidation last September and Prospa threatened us in a text (yes a text ladies and gentlemen I kid you not) and because I don't think they know what liquidation means put a caveat on our private dwelling. I'm not sure what they thought they were getting out of that since we cant put it on the market to sell now, thanks Prospa. The staff at Prospa are extremely nasty even when your suffering financially, can't move for employment because you now can't sell your house because of a caveat and the staff hide behind their keyboards and don't answer the 1,000s of emails you send them. I urge you all to avoid Prospa at ALL costs.

Update on Prospa's comment below, they never followed up with me as they said below, so people please DO NOT get sucked into their apologies, they never reply, they have no hearts, for people losing their business and going into financial hardship. They need to realise in liquidation they are NOT the only ones owed money, the bank loans come first, then IRD..Prospa your at the very back of the que.

Another update...Prospa are going to liquidate us...can you liquidate the already liquidated???? I think not...hey staff at Prospa, you're not very bright are you. LIQUIDATE THE LIQUIDATED??????

Yet another update...got a rather long text from Joseph (yup these people are just so professional) this morning Easter Sunday from Complete Credit Aquisitions, now in charge of getting blood out of a stone...geez Prospa you never made contact with our liquidators so now you send us to a credit company....really, so I have had to again explain the situation assuming they might know what liquidation is...in the meantime $5,000 has gone up to a whopping $20,000, but reminder they never got back to us or our liquidator since going into liquidation in September 2024...OMG will the nightmare end!!!!

Yet a further update...today (13 May 2025) we receive yet another email when we have been trying so hard to contact these heinous people who you can never contact back (it's like they do it on purpose) the amount now plus interest to date is $24,223.58 ... was only $728.23 owing and we only had a limit of $18,000 on the day we went into liquidation. PROSPA IS A SOUL SUCKING PACK OF A-HOLES WHO WILL GO TO ALL LENGTHS TO IGNORE YOU BUT THEN CONTACT YOU TO TELL HOW YOU NOW OWE $24,223.58 AND SEND YOU TO DEBT COLLECTORS AND THE INTEREST IS STILL BEING ADDED

We appreciate the team at Prospa approving our small buisness loan. Application was done mid morning,with funds in our account that afternoon.

This is our third time we have obtained some short term finance to bridge those occassional low cash flow times. Prospa has made the application process simple and transparent and money requested was in our account within 12 hours.

Beware of the great job they have done building a reputable-looking brand. These guys are nothing more than a bottom feeding loan-shark business.

I am a small business owner and took out a small loan to help with cashflow in the early stages of my business.

I missed a payment - my bad, but paid it the next day. From that day on at least 25% of my weekly payment was going to penalty fee's.

They never informed me my account was in arrears, due to arbitrary fee's on a payment made one day late.

Completely predatory. For a business that markets themselves as on the side of small business owners, all they're doing is waiting for you to trip over and to come in and capitalise on hidden fee's.

Speedy response, personalised service and easy to talk to

I organised for early repayment of my loan after refinancing with a bank. I paid the outstanding amount in full and provided remittance of that payment. I then asked for confirmation in writing that no further payments would be taken from my account, and was told that the direct debit would be cancelled. Despite this, funds continued to be deducted from my account. I contacted them and asked for the money to be returned, and even provided evidence via bank statement of the funds being removed from my account. However Prospa have said they cannot find the money and have not returned it.

Staff were great communicators.
The process wasn't convoluted.
Professionalism was on point
