I was very green, inexperienced and foolish spending with companies that were just not professional at launching products or apps. They basically made things look pretty on paper and that’s about it. ProductMentor has legitimate pros in retail sales and a history of launching great ideas to the market. If you have a great idea it only takes a phone call. Make the call. Don’t procrastinate. Doesn’t cost anything to speak to one of our professionals. Trust me. Well worth it.

No holds barred honest feed back. They will explain the statistics why most start-ups and entrepreneurs are unsuccessful. It takes experience and knowledge to tackle the many challenges that will be faced to achieve success. This is their area of expertise and they work with you in crafting a plan and strategy to obtaining success offering their knowledge, experience, and connections to new inventors helping them stay centered on their path. I am grateful to have a partnership with Product Mentor llc. It has been very insightful and enlightening. Not every idea is great and not every great idea will see the store shelf. You must make all the right choices along the way and partnering with them is the first right choice I made.

The team at Product Mentor are veterans in their field and have been patient in guiding me through the process of the development phase of the product. I would be very far behind had I decided to bootstrap my product from scratch. I wish I had approached them earlier to get me started as an entrepreneur on my FlosserPro product.

Do your own research. They offer nothing of value and actually hurt your goals by advising incredulous things. I've been partnering with them for 2 years now, and I have nothing but a product they seem uninterested in helping market, given them tens of thousands of dollars, and ruined my credit(opening new lines, and running up those lines on their recommendation).

I thought at the very least they would have some ties to help me in the industry(s), but they can't even offer that. They recommended me to a "financial support company"(do NOT use Lighthouse Financial) who spent a 1/3 of a day filling out credit card applications and then charged me $7k. Sent me to an app developer who was well over a year late on delivering a product that still has so many holes(don't use Zoptal Solutions) and whose owner now conveniently sits on Product Mentors executive board. Oh yeah and I paid them $30k to get them to ruin myself and my livelihood.

Do your research. I would have been a million timed better doing g things on my own.

*UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS:

My mentorship ended because the app developer couldn't get me the app in under 2 years and it's still not working properly. That app developer now sits on their board of directors!

They advised me to pay a company(lighthouse financial) $7000 to fill out credit cards for me. My solid credit got me those cards, which I now pay ridiculous finance charges on, because again, they couldn't get my app working in time.

The guerilla marketing they wanted me to do is put stickers on local grocery stores shopping carts. Which would very quickly end up with a cease and desist.

Mike, the CEO, is a LIAR. There was never a deal with their supposed big name supplier/retailer.

*2nd update. Once again Mike is a LIAR. They told me lots of companies were interested in my product. Never a name of someone who worked for said company, an introduction, nothing. These are lies.

If you as a potential customer think paying $7000, spelled out seven thousand, to have a company fill out credit cards for you, then I guess Product Mentor is right up your alley. But you will be disappointed with this eventually, just like all their other recommendations.

The stickers was the BEST option Mike had to offer. I could gladly list off the crap marketing techniques he also recommended, but trust me they are way worse and a joke.

These are old men who come from money and always have had money. They don't know a single thing about starting up, otherwise I wouldn't be here. They are not professionals or experts in anyway. You'd get better advice from a teenager on Tiktok.

I got an idea for a product, and internet searching led me to ProductMentor. If you're a new inventor with little experience in the business world, there's a HUGE (and often confusing) learning curve to developing and selling a product. The PM curriculum does a good job educating on the journey from product idea to market, and the group coaching calls were a great place to brainstorm with like-minded people, all with Mike there to lead with patience and experience. Your 1st product idea doesn't always work out (Edison failed 1,000 times before finally getting the lightbulb right), and I ultimately decided not to continue with my original product idea. But my experience with ProductMentor laid the foundation of entrepreneurship I needed in order to pursue other business opportunities that played better to my strengths, and that has resulted in several other successes since. At Lighthouse Financial, we specialize in small business financial services. We've been working with Product Mentors for a few years and have really enjoyed the relationship. They seem to treat their clients really well, and have an effective road map for helping people get their businesses off the ground. Highly recommended.

Somebody called me from ProductMentor, but the fact that they don't show TrustPilot or other off site reviews is a big concern. I also searched the names of the testimonials on their site, but didn't confirm any successful products. I set my review to notify, and wonder if they'll reply.
