It was a perfect bying experience. After the auction I was contacted soon with all information regarding the shipping. After the payment I was informed about the shipping and soon the item came to me.

One of my favourite auctions in the UK , the staff are very helpful when you have an enquiry.
Their in-house packing department takes the greatest care when packing your items for shipping for anyone who is unable to collect in person and at a very reasonable cost unlike many of the auction logistics companies that have to be used at other auction houses.
I have been a customer for many years and hopefully for many to come.

I’ve never had a bad experience with Potteries Auctions. Always so smooth running in regards to invoicing, communication and postage. Excellent service, items are always very well wrapped and I’ve never had any breakages. Delivery has always been prompt and it’s always a pleasure to purchase through them.

I have just forayed into using online auctions to source more unusual items for the home and have found the Potteries Auctions to be particularly good and one I return to time and time again. Firstly because of the quality of the items auctioned but secondly and most importantly to me, they offer a P&P service too. If the auction house will not do this it can be a very expensive exercise to get the goods delivered to your door, it will always be over £70+ and this has to be factored into what one is prepared to bid, so I find it illogical with so much now bought online that some of the auction houses are still avoiding this crucial customer supply element and therefore attraction to return.

Very professional, polite and helpful staff. Auctioneers are also pleasant and amusing. Around great experience and service. Only downside for me is 30% buyers premium, bumps up what was potentially bargain!

Amazing Auction House, I bought a very fragile lot and was worried about it being delivered. My concerns were quickly relieved, the lot arrived after being expertly packaged to ensure its safety. Highly recommend.

Bid on line, always with a set price, but if a bid was higher, I was informed to give me a chance to increase my bit if needs be. Collection fast safe and very friendly. Great service.

I attended an auction in person and loved the experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I purchased a number of items and the staff quickly processed my payment and got everything ready. Really excellent customer service. Thoroughly recommend.

Very high commission charge to buyers 35.94%. Staff very unhelpful and show no initiative. Refused to allow me to register to bid due to an inaccurate entry made by another auction house over a year ago. I have had no problem spending thousands of pounds at other auction houses around the country since. Staff had no flexibility or problem solving skills. Not great for sellers who obviously want to achieve the highest price for their items.

When items unsold choices of next sale and reserve price.
All sold after 2 auctions and very happy with price and fees.

I engaged the services of Potteries Auction professionally and they were excellent. Rod Gibson is personable, knowledgeable and does not beat about the bush, admirable qualities. The additional house clearing service that they offer is brilliant and I would happily recommend if you can booked in!
