Thank you for scheduling my interview. During our initial discussion, we spoke in detail about my work experience, technical skills, and the reasons for changing my current job. Based on that conversation, I attended the interview expecting my technical knowledge and experience to be evaluated.
However, the HR round focused on questions and assessments that were not relevant to my skills or the role. The discussion was mainly about my previous job changes, even though I had already explained the reasons clearly during our earlier conversation. Unfortunately, I was rejected without being given a technical interview.
I feel this was unfair, as my technical abilities were never assessed. If my profile was not suitable due to my job history, it would have been better to clarify that before scheduling the interview. Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your consideration

We would like to clarify that our role as a recruitment consultancy is to facilitate the hiring process between candidates and our clients. Every client has its own recruitment & selection process and they have the sole discretion to shortlist or reject any candidate at any stage of the hiring process with or without providing detailed feedback or conducting all interview rounds.
In your case, the client decided not to proceed to the technical evaluation based on their assessment during the HR discussion. Their feedback indicated concerns regarding your confidence level, overall communication and the explanation provided for your short term job changes. As they were not convinced to move your application to the next stage, they chose not to schedule the technical interview.
From our perspective, the most important aspect is that the interview outcome was communicated to you promptly. While we understand that every candidate hopes to receive detailed feedback and clients are not obligated to provide a comprehensive explanation for every hiring decision.
We would also encourage you to use this experience as an opportunity for self reflection. Continuously strengthening your technical knowledge is important, but equally important are your verbal communication skills, confidence, ability to present your career journey positively and maintaining a professional approach while interacting with interviewers and recruitment consultants. These factors often play a significant role in hiring decisions.
