Great for very customizable mixed invitations
Great selection and easy order. We are doing a joint kid birthday party and needed to fit more than one name on the invite, so appreciated the flexibility with the custom text boxes and sizes, etc. fast shipping. Our invitations look great!!!

I asked for two designs to be "proofed" with text and emailed to me.
I chose one of the invitations and placed the order (#503046). I cancelled the other order via the website (#503045). I received a message that I would be responsible for the unprinted invitations. I immediately called your Customer Service number and left another message, cancelling the order. I had never approved the order and I believe there are several places in the website that state the order will not be placed until it is approved by the customer. I left two phone numbers where I could be reached and I never had a call returned so I believed the order had been cancelled. Today I received a box of unprinted invitations in the mail. I do not want these and have no use for them as I chose the other design. I have ordered invitations through Polka Dot Design several times in the past and I have always been satisfied with the service and the product. I want to return these unprinted invitations which I never approved for a refund. I called the Customer Service line again today, leaving two numbers where I can be reached. I expect a call in return.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Amy. I have taken a look at the notes for this order. It seems that we did respond via phone call addressing your original request to cancel. When we did not get you, we responded to the email you sent in letting you know that once inventory is ordered for Odd Balls, the order cannot be fully cancelled. At this point only the printing could be cancelled, so this is what we moved forward with after your cancellation request. We refunded the printing charge and sent you the blank invitations. This is outlined in the terms & conditions you initialed upon placing your order. Except from terms and conditions that were initialed: "Some items are special orders and may not be cancelled, exchanged or returned. This includes All Holiday Items, All Sale Items, Odd Balls, Stamps and orders of a quantity of 100 or more." The Odd Balls item you ordered was not a stock item. It was a special order. We apologize for any inconvenience and have to rely on our terms and conditions in instances like these as the manufacturers do not accept returns from us. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service email.

My experience was satisfactory all the way around. I first emailed a question late one night and had an answer by 530 am from Phil vandarstal. he continued to assist me through the process, including expediting my order.
I received my order in a very 5imely manner, and loved the invites. Also got a 20 % discount! Thank you for everything-- would definitely recommend your company to others!
