I work with many companies that does the same thing and I get paid in a week with this company. I’ve been waiting to be paid since January 29. It doesn’t make sense. I think we all should get together and sue this company. We should find a lawyer and take this to the Supreme Court because this company is getting money from people customers and they’re not paying their employees for the work that’s being done. It’s a Ponzi scheme. Who’s in with me?

My story is just like every other provider/contractor still haven't gotten paid for work that was done on December 7th 2025 been over 120+ days and counting same old excuse was a great company to work for before use to get paid within 48 hours now it's a joke, I didn't like poaching jobs from them but I will now since I did the work and haven't gotten paid do not use this company i was wondering why this year there was alot of work sitting in the app for days when before the work wouldn't even last 20 seconds everyone getting smarter cause no one in chicago area is getting paid

This company does not pay do not do work for them. I completed my first job on 1/25 and haven’t received the $80 they owe me I was told I would probablybe paid much sooner but at the latest it would be the week of 3/16. As of today 3/20, I still haven’t received the money. I just contacted their “customer service” and here’s their response Hi Jennifer, I do apologize that hasn't arrived yet. We can let the team know and have them check this for you - At this time there is a wait due to a high volume of outreach stemming from end of year bookkeeping, tax season, and general provider inquiries. If you don't mind verifying the last 4 of the checking account, it may help speed things up in case they have questions so we can get you an answer faster.

They get paid from the customer immediately But can’t afford to send me $80??? SCAM

I have not been paid for services rendered in January it is now mid March. I’m being given excuses with little to no communication. A 7 day demand has been issued

They don't pay their contractors.
They claim its net 30. Then at 30 days it's "oh we meant 30 business days". Then after 2 months and them fake sending an ach its "we are reviewing your payments" for weeks and weeks. Arguing with you and never paying. I'm owed many thousands of $$$. I contact support every day and get told I need to keep waiting so they can review some mystical something before they pay me for work we did in DECEMBER!!!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO ANY WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! YOU WILL NOT GET PAID! They will tell you that the payment you EARNED will be processed the following week then they just don’t pay you. When they finally return a message they tell you it will be 30 business day which seems like a very long time to pay someone for work they were paid for up front! They make more than you to do nothing but collect free money off other people’s labor and then not pay their contractors. If you do work for them poach the customer you can double what these crooks are paying you and the client will save money you will actually earn a fair wage and actually get the money you work for

Ridiculous scam company. Never showed up. Took credit card payment. Have refused support. Do not use!

I requested a plow driver for the PM and instead a driver came before 9am. I paid for the 12+ inches to be plowed which did not happen. After going back and forth with the company, I was denied proof that a driver supposedly had returned and cleared the driveway a second time. I certainly did not get my money's worth and I believe the driver to be dishonest, and perhaps even the administrator that I communicated with.

I put in for a snow plow job. After 24 hours and multiple requests, I finally cancelled the job. The customer service was nonexistent. I used LawnGuru and they did the job for half the price (and salted!) and came within the hour.

During yesterday’s snowstorm, I scheduled plowing for this morning. They took my money right away) big cc charge, more than $1000, we have a long driveway), told me my job was assigned, and then … nothing. Nobody showed up. My inquiries this morning just got “bot” responses that the job was still in queue. My wife and I did the job ourselves this afternoon and canceled the request. Waiting now to get our money back on my credit card.

Total scam! I paid them online, and saw my job Scheduled, then Assigned, then...nothing. So I called the "24/7 Support" number - and get only a recording, with no chance to speak to someone. Sooo then I go to the chat, and the bot tells me it's waiting to be assigned. Wrong. So I get what I think is a live human, who also assured me they would contact the local provider and try to get an ETA. This was for yard cleanup and it was NOT during a snowstorm.

I just use the service for my second time very easy and convenient and the service was top-notch. I will definitely use again.

Paid in full for a service that was postponed due to weather. I was fine with the delay, but Plowz & Mowz provided no reschedule date or status update.

On Dec. 6 I contacted them and was told they would check with their provider and get back to me. They did not. More than two weeks later I had to follow up again, and they still blamed the provider and said they could only update me after the provider responded.

Unacceptable. If you take the contract and the payment, you’re responsible for communication and follow-through. Plowz & Mowz sells the job, then hides behind subcontractors when things go sideways.

They allowed a provider to grab all or most of the jobs. Waited over a day and my job was not even done. It is ridiculous. When I talked to the person in the chat they didn’t seem to care and just said they were at the mercy of the providers. It doesn’t seem like they have anyone working for them and they just don’t care. Had prior experiences where they again never picked up my job.

It’s been almost 2 months after I completed the jobs the same day. I still haven’t received my pay. They have been working on a system for payments every time you hear from them very unprofessional for contractors trying to make a living.

Plowz And Mowz is a poor service provider for both providers and customers. They consistently fail to pay providers on time, forcing them to repeatedly text until they receive an apology and a promise to investigate. Some providers go unpaid altogether. I endured three years of service with Plowz And Mowz before they stopped paying me entirely. They owe me almost $2,000, and I worked hard to earn that amount. I had employees who hadn’t been paid due to Plowz And Mowz’s nonpayment, but I was able to compensate them. Plowz And Mowz has received many complaints from customers, and I’ve even been to homes where there was damaged siding and fences due to improper use of equipment. The turnover rate is high, and sometimes you get the same provider, while other times you don’t.
I strongly advise against Plowz And Mowz. They had many jobs available when I started, but they were quickly taken. Now, customers wait weeks for service, and they lie to push back the service due to a lack of providers due to unpaid invoices.
I’m not sure if I’d be able to give this company a positive rating.

I ordered a simple lawn mowing for my elderly mother. After five days of the job being pushed back, I contacted the company through its messaging system. First, they could not locate the job (that was clearly pending in the app). I asked for a status update and they indicated they would get back to me. I waited 18 hours with no response. I messaged the app a second time and waited another hour with no response. I finally cancelled the job and will never use this company again. This is the second time this has happened, it is very unfortunate because it is a great concept that the company cannot execute.

I wanted to do a yard cleanup. Tried setting up an account, but they kept texting a code to my phone, even though I said not to do that. Finally set up the account and then the site would not take my credit card - or any credit card. Web site was broke. Really? How do you transact business that way. Finally after 2 days, I was able to put the card in to schedule the job. After several days the job was NOT SCHEDULED. They cannot seem to bring in a lot of contractors in Vermont. I've read that they treat their contractors poorly, so no wonder.
Oh, and their 24-hour support is no support at all. They do not answer the phone. Instead you chat with a Lack-of-Artificial-Intelligence Bot which doesn't know diddly.
Eventually we had to cancel the job and they refunded my payment (thankfully it was quick). I wasted an entire week on this garbage. Plowz&Mowz, please do everyone a favor and go out of business. Soon. You are a blight on reputable businesses out there. My rating should really be Zero Stars, but they won't allow that. If you want to do business with this company, you will have nothing but aggravation. You have been warned. Go elsewhere.

They will overcharge on your first recurring service and then never return. Complete ripoff.
