Playrix-Township ripoff
I have been an avid player of this game for some time. The recent "economic updates" have now made it impossible to play with pocket-money put aside for fun things. No longer fun but a money grab.

I’ve been a loyal Township player for years, and the latest economy update is extremely frustrating.

Extra moves now cost ~200 tcash (fair), but some tasks now jump to 900 tcash — this is completely unbalanced.

20–25 new tcash ≈ 1 old tcash, so pricing should reflect this proportionally.

Rewards haven’t scaled with costs, making events, regattas, and everyday gameplay much harder and less enjoyable.

This feels like a forced push to spend real money rather than a fair update.

I hope the developers urgently review these changes. Many players are reporting similar issues, and the current imbalance risks long-term frustration and disengagement.

I am dropping all playrix games forever. On the average, the prices of everything have multiplied by ten or more. That is a very conservative figure. For example: It used to cost 3 t-cash to open a chest. Now it is 75 t-cash. That is a price increase times 25 in that alone. 25x increase?
Seriously?! Everything across the board has skyrocketed in price much the same way. The additional t-cash you see is a cheap illusion. I have played township almost daily since 2018. The buying power of the money we spend on the game (t-cash, for example) has had its buying power cut by more than half all around. It came in the form of an 'upgrade' about a week before I wrote this review you are reading right now. Customer support is not answering anyone regarding this. Has anyone gotten a response from customer service? With playrix, you are throwing your hard earned money away while gaining little or nothing. Playrix has become a rip off to avoid. Who can afford to be swindled like this? Not the average person. Dump all playrix related games because they will, and presently are, robbing all of us blind. A gallon of gas is cheaper.

Ich bin ein Fan dieses Spiels seit lange Zeit. Doch die letzte towncash Umstellung ist eine Zumutung. Es ist jetzt total teuer zu spielen. Da hab ich keine Lust mehr drauf. Für mich läuft das unter Abzocke.

I 100% have to agree with many of the other loyal players that have written reviews ..
I myself As a long-term player who frequently spent money on this game, I can no longer justify supporting Township after the recent update.

The new “dollar-to-T-cash” ratio makes no sense. While the developers multiplied our existing cash, they hiked the costs of items and level continues by a much higher margin. For example, continuing a puzzle level has jumped from 10 T-cash to nearly 900. My real-world money now buys significantly less progress than it did before. These cost just do not make any sense. They are just astronomical.

It feels like a blatant “inflation” tactic that punishes loyal, paying players. I will not be spending another cent until the economy is rebalanced to offer fair value. If you’re a new player, be warned: your money won’t go far here anymore.

If you want me and thousands of other, loyal  players to continue playing this game You need to correct and properly update the “dollar-to-T-cash” ratio! otherwise we’re all out!

I agree 100% with the recent reviewers. Game has gone to complete shit. Greedy Playrix. You have completely ruined what use to be a great little game.
Just cost me the equivalent of $13 Australian dollars to extend the match 3 mini game. Just a money hungry rubbish game now. And they’re too lazy to vary the mini game because the Match 3 makes them too much money. Sick of it. Sad because I have really enjoyed it for about 6 years

Ich habe seit über 12 Jahren Township (Stufe 184) mit viel Freude gespielt (und auch immer wieder Geld investiert). In den letzten Jahren ist mein Frust jedoch immer größer geworden. Die penetrante Abzocke, die mittlerweile lieblosen Graphiken, die Redundanz der Spiele, die ungerechten Regatten u.v.m. Die Möglichkeiten, die Stadt zu verschönern, sind nahezu weggefallen.
Alles, was Spaß machte, z.B.die kurzweiligen Minispiele, gibt es nicht mehr. Fast alle Veränderungen der letzten Zeit haben dem Spiel keinen Mehrwert gebracht.
Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, wie sich dieses einst tolle Spiel entwickelt hat. Wie mir scheint es vielen Spielern zu gehen. Etliche von ihnen haben ihre Enttäuschung kundgetan. Playrix scheint kein Interesse an ehrlicher Kundenkritik zu haben. So bleibt nur die Verabschiedung, wenn auch mit einem Tränchen im Auge.

The game township used to be fun laid back and really entertaining. Then update after update it shifted to match 3 and ridiculous pay to play prices . Most of my coop will no longer be spending money on this game. This is a disgusting money grab greed took over and the joy of the game is gone . I will never play another playrix game again. I hate to sound repetitive but to not loose your rainbow ball it was 10 dollars to cash now its 900 . The market guy rental was 72 t cash now its 1800 . To speed up a train its 250 t cash. The rewards do not match the payout . This game initially started out as a farming town game then they shifted it to match 3 that no one likes, it is fixed with boosters not going where they should not enough moves you literally sit on a level for days or pay 900 dollars for 5 extra moves. You have to play match 3 in order to get ahead in the regatta n the other tasks to play in regatta take all day. But the reward for the regatta is 1/3 of what you spend to get the reward. I dont know who thought this was smart ... players are leaving in groups. Its the most expensive pay to play I have ever seen in my life . They should read the Township room. Side note they make it easy to accidentally spend your money on something and dont refund or anything .

Since the latest update, all Playrix want us to do is spend more and more money, every is to expensive to get, and without the extra help, you struggle to complete the levels. I used to pay 20 t cash to get the factory discount, now I'm not bothering with it, no rewards, no bonus tickets, absolutely nothing. A HUGE THANK YOU TO PLAYRIX FOR RUINING THE ONLY GAME I REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING. I USED TO PLAY FOR 12 HOURS OR MORE EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK AND YEAR, NOW I CHECK ON THE COOP MEMBERS 4 TIMES A DAY. YOU PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT UP THIS PATHETIC UPDATE, NEED TO PUT IT BACK AS IT WAS BEFORE. YOU WILL LOSE PLAYERS IN THEIR COOPS AND RESULT IN THEM NO LONGER PLAYING THE GAME, JUST LIKE ME. THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY ENJOYMENT AND A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE'S TOO.

Seit dem letzten Update benötigt man sehr viel mehr Geld um notwendige Cashscheine zu erhalten. Die Level für die wöchentliche Regatta sind ohne Cashscheine langwierig und fast nicht lösbar. Das erarbeitete goldene Ruder wird einem aberkannt, wenn mal pausiert, krank oder mal einfach eine Spielpause für einige Zeit, ist nicht drin. Die Events sind sehr Zeit- und Kostenintensiv und fast unmöglich ohne Investitionen von erheblichen Summen zu lösen. Ich spiele jetzt 10 Jahre, habe viel Zeit und auch Geld investiert, jetzt ist es mir das Spiel nicht mehr wert. Man wird gezwungen die wöchentliche Regatta zu spielen, ob man will oder nicht. Geld verdienen ist ok, meiner Meinung nach ist Gierig sein ist nicht schön👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎.

Das Spiel ist eigentlich gut. Spiele es seit 5 Jahren. Da muss man die Entwickler dieses Spieles loben. Jedoch ist mir aufgefallen dass seit über einem Jahr kein Spaß mehr macht. Levels werden immer schwieriger, Belohnungen werden schlechter, Münzen immer teurer. Events sind womöglich manipuliert so dass man am Ende verliert (egal wie gut und lange man spielt. Es sei denn, man kauft sich wieder mal etliche Münzen). Das Spiel ist mittlerweile nur auf Profit orientiert. Ich kann ja verstehen dass "Homescapes/ Playrix/ Match 3" auch mal Geld verdienen möchten, aber das ist sehr offensichtlich und extremst teuer. So macht es keinen Spaß mehr. Ich überlege, das Spiel zu deinstallieren.

If i could give No stars i would. After playing for years, i have seen the decline of the game in every aspect. Total greed by Playrix developers however, there is one thing i'm noticing. The developers seem to be getting away with it. Unanswerable, unaccountable..not caring in anyway to subscribers opinions. So what do we do?. I would be very interested in forming a group, the bigger the better, to assertain what is happening to this game. And all we have put into it. Anyone with any suggestions, using any outlet, please let me know. It has gone on for far too long. Recent update is the biggest con i have ever witnesses to date. They are getting their wages for enforcing these changes on us. We, are getting nothing in return. It's time for national action. Only way. Thank you.

Love playing township but now they r just ripping people off with the last update disgracefull

Rip off update. Basically made out they were giving you extra cash, but it didn't work out fairly. I will no longer be spending any money in the game. Very unfair.

Ich Spiele seit Jahrzehnten Township und fand das Spiel Klasse mit seinen Minispielen wie Achterbahn ,Labyrinth, usw .Auch die Weiterentwicklung im Zoo oder bei den Fabriken oder bei der Farm.Man könnte das Spiel so bezaubern.Doch stattdessen geht das Spiel immer weiter den Bach runter.Die Erfinder Bukham werden bestimmt nicht wissen wie hier das Spiel verkommt.Jetzt auch noch das Käufe mit den Scheinen sehr erhöht wurde das man es sich noch leisten kann.Lasst euch mal was besseres einfallen als nur wie man Spieler abzockt

To be honest if I could I wouldn't give any stars for the township game playrix has made I impossible to play since the recent update 900 t cash for 5 extra moves in match 3 is unrealistic barn now overflowing as I won't buy the golden pass time to quit

Township wurde das Cashsystem umgestellt, das ist der reinste Betrug und keine Umstellung. Ich hatte 570 grüne Scheine vorher und nun 14390. Liest sich erstmal viel, aber vorher kosteten 5 zusätzliche Spielzüge im D3matsch 10 und jetzt 900 grüne Scheine. Finde den Fehler.
Lasst die Finger weg von playrix, sonst werdet ihr arm.
