I usually use Play.com instead of Amazon, or some of the other well known websites. I've put in over 30 orders over the years and never had any complaints whatsoever. Their service is fast, payment is easy and p&p free. Cant ask better than that!

Usually well priced goods, nice offers (though too much coal and too few diamonds)

Delivery times are abysmal so order well in advance and don't pre order games for a release day....they won't be there.

Extensive range of products and great deals, Fast efficient delivery, Easy product browsing and an easy check out service. 5 Stars no problems whatsoever.

Ordered a new copy of MW3 and it turned up in a fast time but the state of the product I was not so pleased with. I will give them another chance though as this may just be a one off due to the postal service.

A website that I have never had any problems with, free delivery and a good service all around!

Bought an MP3 player from them as I had purchased DVD's without much problems in the past. MP3 player stopped working after about a month so tried returning it to Play.Com. I went through the help process and couldnt see how to return the item so I wrote to customer services. That was two weeks ago and still no response.

Ok I have lost the cost of the MP3 player but they have lost any further business from me and at every opportunity I will tell people how bad their customer service is.

The first port of call whenever I need a CD, DVD, Game and now clothing, books and ink etc... Exceptional website! Great service and easy to use... what more can you ask for?!

I have made many purchases and have always received an excellent service

i had order some items from them, i received 2 of my orders in good condition, i have received 1 wrong item (it has been returned) and one of them has not been delivered at all. Well those unwanted situation can be understandable but customer service is just a rubish. Whenever i talked to them, i just hardly stopped myself not to get angry. Well if you ask me ,would i buy stuff from them again.Yes i would but only if i have to.

I always compare sites for DVD and Music CDs and more often than not Play will come out cheaper, especially as you don't have to pay postage.

I've been using Play.com for longer than I care to remember now and purchased in excess of £10,000 from the site. Time and time again, they get it spot on, even when sometimes the product is broken, their customer service has been faultless. A*

I lived away from the UK for a while and play.com was my saviour. It was so easy to purchase DVDs and books that were not available. Also their offer of free delivery makes things so much easier as I did not have to worry about postage. I knew the exact amount I was paying when I bought the items and knew that I did not have to worry about the exchange rate.

I unsubscribed from Play as they used to be the cheapest around, not so now and the marketing is random & when you enter the website you just get lists and lists of irrelevant items. Shame as I liked them when they launched, I use Amazon now.

Stuff which is supposedly in stock takes an age to arrive. Conning people into placing orders really.

I've only ordered once from Play and the order took a little while to be delivered. I don't find Play cheap, hence why I don't shop there, though they always do seem to have offers or sales on.

I used to use Play for most of my media purchases, right back to when they were Play247. However, as with pretty much everyone on the planet, when it came to belt-tightening and purse-string-tightening, it became necessary to shop around for better deals and lower prices. I still continued to use Play occasionally, but one incident at the end of 2011 (that is still ongoing) has pretty much convinced me that they will not be receiving my patronage in the future, and I will make it my business to shout from the rooftops to ensure friends and family know about the terrible customer services I have recently received.

I ordered an item at the end of November 2011, nothing fancy or expensive, which hadn't arrived by the end of December 2011. I informed them, and they told me I needed to print off a form, sign it, post it back, and they'd consider it (in these days of internet shopping, why use snail mail?!). Anyway, I did so, and left it a bit. Nothing. I mailed them again. They said they hadn't had the form and to reprint it. I had to ask for another one to be e-mailed to me, which they did and I sent again. Nothing. I ended up ringing them and got someone who barely understood what I was calling about. Eventually I got through the language barrier and they said I needed to send the form yet again. Which I did. And now, over 4 months since my first reporting the missing item, I STILL haven't had anything from them.

I've sent them one final email, and have advised that I would be looking into taking further action - a call to my local CAB has assured my that I CAN take further action, even over such a small amount.
